Pokerist: no PM:session:..played..AM:session:..One of the more interesting sessions of poker here on "Pokerist"..being a weekend wanted to avoid the nine seat tables and the only open seat was on a 2$/1$ blinds table of five with a normal play clock..during play numbers varied from more than the /usual number of hands "heads up" to briefly a 5 handed game..but most hands were three or four handed..play varied from friendly..aggressive(a couple of any-two-carders..a pot-pusher or two & of course pre-flop splashes of the pot when a player had a pocket Ace..pair or paint..and for several hands a raid by a kamikaze..when I sat-down..table of five..one of the player's a "rook" was playing pretty  good poker was burning a lot of clock..so play was slow..but the kamikaze arrived and the pace increased dramatically (obviously)..my stack yo-yoed during this presence one point was done about 100$ but by time he left was up marginally..in his wake..there were several heads up hands and then a table of four or five players one of whom was "Gordon Gecko" complete with a clip from the movie as an avatar..an "elite player"..and I got on a hot streak..and for the rest of the session was the "high stack" on the table..and then the game dissolved into more "heads" up and when the other player left mid-hand I was left alone ..waited a minute or so..no new players arrived..and left..the "Daily Quests:"Play 10 hands"(check).."Win with a full house"(check)..actually made two but lost one to a better house..one more "Epic Fail" & "Win with a high card"(check)..got that on the last hand I played when the guy exited mod-hand..but when I checked "Achievements} discovered I was only 1 short of "Epic Fails II" & only 4 short of "Win with a Pair IV"..during play had made Quads twice.."The Penthouse"..pocket Aces..flopped the set and turned the Quads & The "Outhouse"..pocket Deuce..flopped the set..rivered the Quads..and a check showed I was only 1 short of "Quads I"..between the three that 1.6M in bonuses..ripe for the picking..ergo..<:{stats}:> ..68 minutes played..89 hands played.."pace of play:" 45.84 sec./hd..30 winners(36.66% were quality hands)..1 for every 2.97 hands played.."Current Bank:" 4,822.801$.."Up:" +31,326("Daily Bonus:" +12K$ ..."Daily Quests(3/3):" +19'K$.."Table(1):" +326$).."Total Hands Played:" 11,237..17th "Level(n/c)"

Pokerist: no PM:session:..AM:session:..ah the weekend..knew that the chances of finding a 2$/1$ table s/a kamikaze were slim and none and I heard Slim left just town..ergo..best option was a fast clock speed table of five..got lucky..fast five tables are my preferred choice anyways..sat the first two hands and quickly changed my buy-ins to 20$/..every hand played was all in before the flop..three to five players.. but played a couple of hands "heads up" with the high stack when the other guy folded pre-flop..normal when playing on a table with a kamikaze..If I win a pot I'll fold the next hand regardless whether I have decent  pockets or not..take the winnings off the board and return with 20$..however one of the "Quests" was.."Win 2 hands-in-a-row"..dang..while playing "'heads up" with the high stack won consecutive hands with a pair both times..other "Quests" "Win with 2-pair 2x"(check,,won with two pair thrice) & "Win with 3 of a kind or higher 3x" & a full-house..straight..and a set of Deuces on the last hand I played did the trick..along the way lost three other quality hands to better hands..[shrugs]..did drop a few more chips than I usually do at the table but "Win 2 hands-in-a-row for 3K$" more than covered the loss..[[note]: I play especially on the weekends for the "Quests" never have made any bones about that]..ergo..made the trips (which I rivered)..was in the "small"..next hand on the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table and left for the lobby..ergo..<:{stats}:>..27 hands played..52 hands play..for a mind blowing 31.15 sec./hd. Pokerist: I had some time and decided to play again and try to get a "win w/high card" to fill a "Quest"..didn't but an interesting session nonetheless..PM:session:..2$/1$ blinds..as usual varying blinds 20$/30$/40$ but very few cash-outs or bust-outs..played most of the session with the "chips" on the table..a rarity for the ye ole Trollie..a normal play clock table with five chairs..some "heads up" sometimes a five handed game..but generally a three or four handed game..but as/is my preferred style just sat back..only played decent pocket cards and let the game "come to me" as it were..during play I hand a pocket Eight and frankly don't remember the other card..but got to see the flop on a call of the big & a 2$ raise..an any-two-carder at the table..flop was a pair of Aces & another Eight..won the pot with the 2-pair..and down come an "Achievement" banner..first  reaction..what?..than ah..Dead man's hand..& a 10K$ bonus..played just over an hour.."Up:"+10,614$..the bonus + a decent day at the tables..AM: session:..2$/1$ blinds table..fast play clock..varying buy-ins..five chairs..although there were some pre-flop all-ins they were either because a player was betting on a pocket Ace or pair..or on "tilt" after losing a big pot..in general loose play reigned..and there were a couple of bouts of "I'm the table captain..No!! Pokerist:..no PM:session:..BBC America was airing "The Hunt for Red October"..AM:session:..just another crazy session of poker..best option was a 2$/1$ blinds table..normal play clock..with five chairs..play varied from "heads up" to  a five handed game..but most hands were three or four handed..and despite the normal clock and several players who would burn most of the first half of the clock on almost every hand..the "pace of play" was a mind blowing 39.56 sec./hd...if there wasn't a playing going all-in pre-flop..there was a pot-pusher or a player splashing the pre-flop pot with a pocket Ace or any pair or paint..and one or two of the players folding pre-flop and a bunch of hands were only 2 or 3 players "saw the flop"..and a few time the rest of the board folded to the pre-flop nonsense..oy vey..within the first 18 minutes of the session.."Play 10 Hands"(check).."Win with 2-pair or Lower 4x"(check(two pairs..one 2-pair & a high card)) & "Win with 3-of a kind or higher 3x"(check)..the first four of the five pots I won were with..a set of Eights..an Ace high straight_ and 2 full-boats back-to back..had a "hot hand" early..in total made 13 quality hands in the session and one of my better days "catching" in  quite awhile..the later part of the session there was a pot pusher..just splashing the pot pre-flop most of the time usual with a 10$ raise..and more often then not..no continuation bet..my first though was maybe a pocket pair or paint..maybe a pocket Ace..but if he made it to the reveal half the time he'd have pockets I might have folded..granted..I prefer to play a tight style..but even with that said..he played loose..a check of his stats..had played a bunch of hands and had under 500$ in his bank..on the other hand except for one hand when he beat me out of a decent pot with a rivered card..I made some $$s off him..oh how I love the trapping..slow play style..an hours play was up..I was on the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table..or was it to the dealer(hehe) & walked to the lobby..ergo..,<:{stats}:>..60 minutes played_91 hands played_25 pots_1 for every 3.64 hands played.."Current Bank:"4,693,772$_"Up:" +27,136$("Daily  Bonus:"+15K$_"Daily Quests(3/3):"+12K$_"Table(1):"+136$)_"Total Hands Played: "10,785_17th "Level(n/c)"..../....

Pokerist: no PM:session:..played..AM:session:..what a crazy session..I was up around 300$ early..then hit a streak were I couldn't have caught a cold if I was standing in the rain and the temperature was in the lower 40s F..but was one pot short of checking off the last "Daily Quest"..would have have preferred to play on one of the five chair tables..but all were full..so sat down on a 2$/1$ blinds table..varying buy-ins & for a short time when I was up left the chips on the table..but most of the time win a pot..fold..cash-out..return to the game with 20$..fast play clock..although on any given hand as few as 4 were in the hand pre-flop..but most hands were with 6 or more players..and the kamikaze reigned..the one "Quest" was a no brainier.."Play 10 hands"(check)..the second was "Win with 2-pair 2x .. completed that with maybe the first 20 hands played..the last one..there was the problem.."Win w/flush or higher 2x"..had made a flush before I made the second 2-pair..had played about 15 minutes +/-..and about 51 minutes later finally made a full-boat to complete the last quest..in the interim I made 2-pair twice &3 straights ..and had pocket pairs 3 or four time..and lost count on how many times I had pocket connectors..no joy..had a streak where I lost 20 hands-in-a-row..wasn't that I wasn't making some decent hands..but the river or the turn kept being unfriendly..finally made a Queens full of Sevens full-boat(pocket Queen/Seven suited)..folded the next three hands..and "waved bye-bye" to the table from the button..and staggered to the lobby..ergo..<:{stats}:>..66 minutes played..82 hands played.."pace of play:"48.29 sec./had._11 wins..1 for every 7.45 hands played.."Current Bank:"4,635,582$.."Up:"27,516$_"Daily Bonus:"+10K$_ "Quests(3/3):"+17.5K$_"Table(1):"+16$)_"Total Hands Played:"10,622_17th "Level(n/c)..../....

Pokerist: PM:session:..both tables were 2$/1$ blinds..varying buy-ins..1st table a normal speed table of five..some kamikaze play..wasn't catching..down a couple of 100$..then found myself staring at the dealer..2nd table..normal speed table of nine..a very aggressive game..some pre-flop all-ins..but no true "kamikazes"..did a little better..won a bunch of pots but most were of the small/blind variety never won a decent pot..did recoup some of my losses..only good thing about it..a couple of hands "heads up" when I got two the 2nd table..and won a hand with a high card..and checked off one of the "Daily Quests"....AM: session:..I've had some weird sessions but this one takes the "cake"..2$/1$ blinds..varying buy-ins..fast play clock..table with nine chairs..although there were brief periods of a friendly-aggressive style of play the majority of the time the kamikaze were afoot..a couple I've seen too many times before..first 15 minutes or so were friendly howbeit very aggressive..I think I must have played at least 15 hands before I won a pot pair &/then the very next pot with Trip-Fives.."Win 2 pots-in-a-row"(check)..another long drought and then with in a few hands..a 2-pair & another pair.."with with a pair 2x"(check)..by this time the table was pure all-in mayhem..but in the midst of the chaos..a flush..trip-Twos..two split pots..{2-pair & a straight) and finally..in the "small" a flush.."win with a flush or higher 2x"(check}..and departed to the lobby after "waving bye-bye" to the table w/all three "Quests" completed & 342$ in hadn't brung with me..only won 10 of 88 hands played for the session..ergo..[[note] stats reflect both session]..<:{stats}:> ..161 minutes played..191 hands played.."Pace of Play:"5.58 sec/hd..37 winners..1 for every 5.16 hands played.."Current Bank:"4,589,935$_"Up:"+29,202$(:Daily Bonus:"+5K$_"Daily Quests(4/4):"+24'K$_ "Tables(3):"PM:-140$/AM:+342$)).."Total Hands Played:"10,477$_17th "Level(n/c)..../.....[edited 11:14 UTC-5]..../....

Pokerist:..no PM:session: played last night..just some decent TV and took the afternoon off..AM:session:..a very interesting session of poker..took my chair at a table set for nine..fast play clock..2$/1$ blinds as/always..I make no"bones" about the fact that I play for the "Daily Quests" and the "Achievements"..see no valid reason to risk more cash by moving to a higher blinds table..with few exceptions played with a 30$ buy-in..and in most cases would fold after a win..cash-out..and return with a 30$ stake..although there were a few hands with only three players and at times a full table..the majority of the hands were five or six handed..every style of play made at appearance at one time or the other.. some kamikaze action..friendly..friendly aggressive..any-to-carders w/continuation betting..pot-pushers ..and of course the splash of the pot when a player had a pocket singleton Ace..any pair..any paint..with in the first couple of hands made a split-pot-pair and a flush.."Win 2 hands"(checked off)..and soon after a couple of wins w/2-pairs.."Win with 2-pair 2x"(checked off(made a total of 10 on the day))..ah.."Win with a full-house"..take took about 90 minutes before I got to check that off..before that had folded pre-flop..a garbage hand..ended up a friendly hand & a split-pot-board full-house..oy vey..of the 21 pots I won were on quality hands..4 sets(twice with Twos)..1 straight..2 flushes(both were nut flushes)..and the aforemen-tioned full-house..pace of play was slow for a fast table..several players who "burnt" considerable time off the play clock..three of them were "rooks"..playing their 1st hand(s)..to  be expected..and a couple of the others..have played with before..come on guys it ain't rocket science and the "rent money" isn't "in play" ..oy vey..[end rant]..was coming up on two hours played.."button to my immediate left..decided to play back to the button and leave..and suddenly a table of five was a table of nine and it took forever to get back to the but..oh..by some fluke of fate..at one point I was the high stack at the table..how did that happen..finally got to the button.."waved bye-bye" to the table and stumbled to the lobby..ergo..............

Pokerist:..No PM:session:..had the three "Daily Quests" completed..it was "the weekend"..and play was dominated by the kamikaze and decided to just call it a day..AM:session:..best option is morning was a 2$/1$ blinds normal play clock with five chairs..and for the first 21 minutes +/- was pretty decent friendly/aggressive poker..we did have an any-two-carder w/continuation bets but min-raises..and the occasional splash of the pot when a peep had a pocket singleton Ace or any pair..but a decent table..by the 13 minute mark I had played five hands+..made 2-pair twice..& made a full-house..actually made two on back-back hands and had collected all three of the "Daily Quests"..at the 21 minute mark the first of it seems a never ending supply of kamikazes arrived..and except for the occasional lull when one had left before another arrived..some decent poker and even a few hands heads up..right around 40 minutes into the session I was looking for the "button" and thinking about leaving seeing there was really anything to play for.."Quests" completed..played a hand all-in..20$ buy-in..and won with a 2-pair(3rd of the session) ..and an "Achievement" banner appeared..(odd look)..(&then)..I had checked how many 2-pair wins I needed for the "Achievement" a couple of day's ago..yup..(ah a reason to play)..(and add to that I am sneaking up on 10K total hands played)..so decided to play about an hour..the hour had just past..got to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to  the table..and left for the lobby..[[note]: I've won 501 pots w/2-pair..only 4,499 more to go for level V]..ergo..<:{stats}:>..63 minutes played_87 hands played_"Pace of Play:" 43.445 sec/hd_15 pots._1 for every 5.8 hands played_"Current Bank" now stands@4,503.7'K$_"UP:" +448,504$_"Daily Bonus:"+12K$_"Daily Quests(3/3):"+16.5K$_"Achievement'Two Pair IV':"+420K$_ "Table(1):"+4$)_"Total Hands Played" now stands@9,935_17th "Level(n/c)"..../....

Pokerist: (no PM:session:)..AM:session:..the five chair tables which I prefer were either full or an obvious kamikaze present..the best of a bad set of options..and sat down at a normal play chock table..nine chairs..4 occupied..2$/1$ table..I make no bones about the fact that I play for the "Quests" & the "Achievements" when they occur..speaking of which during player lost a house to a better house and now need 2 more for "Epic Fail III"..varying blinds..about the first doz. hands had made "2 pair or higher 3x" & "a flush" and had two of the three "Daily Quests" in hand..the 3rd.."win 200K$ on a single non-tourna-ment hand" like that's every going to happen on a 2$/1$ table..and was seriously thinking about "booking it"..but the "K-man" left and in his wake a table looking for an identity..friendly at times..ag-gressive at others..any-two-carding..pot-pushing..continuation bets..splashes pre-flop for a pocket singleton Ace..any pair..connectors suited or not..any paint..and with one player who was there and gone and back again at least four times..I have no guess why..20K+ hands played..less than 2K$ in hid "Bank"..splash the pot pro-flop..large than min-raises thereafter..check his pocket cards at the reveal..he did even have a pair more often than not..sure he got "lucky" a couple times..had 500$+ in his stack a couple of times..but within a few hands he would bust-out..I guess peeps play that way as we would have said back in the day for "the jazz"..the rush of a big win..but just 'tain't my style..did may usual thing..only played decent hole cards..if I won a pot..fold the next hand..cash-out..and return with what I thought was the correct buy-in for the style of play at the time..at one time or another 20$/30$ & 40$ were all used..managed to stay out of the way but made some good hands and won enough pots..to leave with more than I had brung with me..the hour was approaching..decided to play to the button..one one last hand with an Ace high straight.."waved bye-bye" to the table from the "button" and left..ergo..<:{stats}:>..60  minutes played..58 hands played..62.1 sec/hd "Pace of Play"..11 winners..1 for every 5.27 hands played.."Current Bank" now stands@4,026.9'K$_"UP:"+23,178$(Daily Bonus:"+7K$_"Daily Quests(2/3):"+23K$_"Table(1):"+178)_"Total Hands Played" now stands@9,751_16th "Level[n/c)"..../....

Pokerist:..AM:session: fast play clock..nine chairs..varying buy-ins..2$/1$ blinds..mixed numbers at the table and a mixture of styles..some kamikaze action but mostly pot-pushing both pre- & post- flop..and the frequent splash of the pot pre-flop on a singleton pocket Ace..ant pair or paint..and connectors suited or not..loose play reigned..and I couldn't catch a hand..didn't get many good looks in the pocket and when I did rarely got even a small piece of the pot..did manage to win two halfway decent pots..both times with a pair..one of them won with a better kicker..looked at the clock..had played about 30 minutes ..was miraculously up marginally the "button" was approaching..got there.."waved bye-bye" to the table and fled with 6$ I hadn't brung with me..AM:session:..What a wild first 40 minutes of the session..a full fast table with nine chairs..2$/1$ blinds..first 40 minutes..20$ buy-in..win a pot..fold..cash-out..return w/20$..except once..won a pot had pocket Bullets..next hand again had a pair of bullets in the hole.. except for me and one or two others..all the rest of the players were elite..and the majority were ladies w/sexy avatars..and the chats were flying..mostly in languages I don't understand..by the time the wild party was at an end..I had completed two of the three "Daily Quests".."win two pots" & "win with a full house"..but not "Win win with a pair 2x"..what remained was a high stack and one other survivor from the aforementioned riot..and a friendly howbeit at time aggressive game emerged..with the occasional other players coming and going..finally made the second of the 2 pairs..completed the "Quest" was in the "big" ..and decided to leave from the button..caught decent pockets in the "small"..won the last pot I played with a 2-pair.."waved bye-bye" to the table..and left from the "button"..ergo..<:{stats}:>..96 total minutes played between the 2 sessions..104 hands played.."Pace of Play" 55.4 sec/hd...14 pots won..1 for every 7.43 hands played.."Current Bank" now stands@4,003.7'K$_"UP:"+21,446$("Daily Bonus:"+21K$_ "Quests(3/3):"+16K$_"Tables(2):"+496$(PM:+6$/AM:+440$))_"Total Hands Played" now stands@9,692 _16th "Level(n/c)"..../....
