The day started out great, in my morning run to the tables to get my first two missions done, thanks in part to a straight flush in spades 4 to 8.......4 cards on the board and the 7  was one of my hole cards.....not a huge part......but a great hand non the less...and then lost my WiFi for about 3 hours.....puts a real crimp in the day.......
( see below.......after giving some thought to a new layout......thought of an easy way to handle it......the problem was what to do with the archives, easy solution.....and just moved it to the "footer")

  Have added Sea Towers to the  list of games I play on "just Solitaire".....similar to FreeCell but if your careful, and don't catch an ornery tableau it's a fairly easy clear........Eight Off is also similar to the two afore mentioned......

  Didn't play any where near to the amount of time today, that I did yesterday, but make just north of 28K at the tables, and 240K in 7 drops and 1 roulette......but during play I passed 17K hands played...
  Still can't get over the influx of new players.....which I love.....allows me to play the style I want to play......"short tables" forces you to play a more aggressive style.......my background is real cash games.....and I prefer to be more calculating....do the "math" as it were.....and decide what to do before I'm "on the clock".....I actually prefer to play small pots.....and would rather not start the raising, but just smooth call a raise, if I have a hand, and only "chase" on the turn.....if I don't have a hand made by then I'll fold......
  After the river...it blows my mind how often peeps keep betting with pairs or trips when there are 4 cards to a flush or straight showing on the board.....I'd rather fold trips and find out I could have won the hand, then stay in and lose to a straight or flush....the math says in the long run I'd come out ahead.....but there is my play in real cash games coming out again.......
  Been playing "Crescent Solitaire".....some on "Just Solitaire" (link on the left)......not an easy game to win......but when you do.......it's sweet
( since the beginning of this month I've added a lot of material to the side bars here, so after my first post of July, when the month changes, will have to make major adjustments to the layout...not look forward to that, but it must be done)

  Is it just me or are they a flood of new players, played a lot last night mostly on a 200/100 blind table......and the majority of the other players had less then 300 hands played, and a few with less then 100 hands played.......I've mentioned it before if you want to see your fellow players stats.......click on their avatar.......and how many hands have I played......find me at a table and click my avatar......hehe.....(16917 and counting).......it will also show you how often they raise by %.......

My two favorite games on "Just Solitaire" are "Clock" and "Labyrinth"........once you get the "hang" of it so to speak, "Clock" is a game you should clear almost every time......with the exception that once in a while you catch a tableau that just won't cooperate......( and yes I do attribute evil intent to some tableaux (and yes tableaux is the plural of tableau......and yes I had to look it up))......."Labyrinth" on the other hand is an evil spirited game which more often then not defies solution.....I had one today 3 complete foundation piles.....1 trapped card......trapped by 2 same suit, but higher value......no successful solution.......but I enjoy the challenge......
 Played some poker today, but at a much more leisurely pace, I got caught up a bit too much with it, and was scheduling every thing else around it.......no more....it is after all just a game, ........there again went up a level during play today...( now 22/5 )........

Was in the mood and played my longest stint in quite awhile..nearly 3 hours.......enjoyable.......cracked 43M.......

  Did some thing I don't think I've ever done before, generally I take the drop that's always there first thing when I long on in the AM, but today it was a roulette spin, so I went to a table and filled minimum hands and winnings first.....then the roulette, weird thing spin with chip won, 180K......later in the day spin without spin won 180K......plus 120K  from drops.....had intended to play more today then I did but my real life interfered........tables for the day net loss of 1796 faux dolllars
  Have spent sometime today playing some solitaire on "Just Solitaire"........link is over on the left....what I really like about the site is after you finish a game, win or lose you have the option of "new game" or "new hand"........if you select the later the game gives you a running total......even remembers if you log off and then back on.......

Just Some Random Thoughts:
1) Most of my time is spend on "short tables" 5 players or less, and the chances to play slots are few and far between..currently I have accumulated 115 spins.......I wish the game would install a direct link to slots.....just saying......
2) I figured out today, after checking my closing net worth that I have in excess of  42M faux dollars....and the thought stuck me that if I were to go to a 200/100 blind table, and take the minimum buy in of 5K, with rebuy, I could go all in a minimum of 8438 times.....and even with my bad luck, I won't lose every time
3) I think for awhile I'm going to change my tactics.......I probably will continue to start the day with filling the hands, and 10k cash missions.......but not make any concerted effort to fill any of the others, if I do all well and good......if I'm not right there for a drop or roulette spin, or don't have a chip, then I don't.....If I do then I do......I'm just going to relax and enjoy the game........
4) also I intend to expand the list of games I play other then poker, and maybe comment on other games as well........

  Bit of a slug abed this AM, later then usual start, 22 minutes and first two missions filled, really like the new drop down/pop up indicator when a mission is complete......but only have chance for one roulette today.....(lost one to the late start)......so.......will see what the day brings forth.....

  Been rivered so many times is AM, I'm surprised I haven't drowned.......thankfully drops and roulette have more then covered my losses......but you have your bad days and good days at the tables.....but lately the bad days have been much more common ........oy vey.......
  On another note, if you are playing, and complete a mission, there is now a "pop up" alerting you to that fact......

  Knew any play on my part to spend any extend time playing......had an event to go to which took 4 and 1/2 hours out of the day.......just did 4 drops and a roulette spin....netted 220K and didn't hit the tables at all......so will dive back in with both feet as it were tomorrow........

In limited playing time there's bad news and good news.....bleed south of 300K at the tables, got frustrated with not catching many good hands.......forced hands, chased, call when I should have folded, and folded when I should have called......nobody to blame but myself.....the good news is with just 1 roulette, and 5 drops gained 900K, so stack finished at 40.9M,........tomorrow maybe the same limited play......am considering taking the day off completely.....

  Had a good day yesterday at the tables after a very rocky start......at one point I was down almost 50k.....but things started to fall my way and ended the day on table winnings just north of 180K.....just an average take on drops and roulette........but was up past midnight (UTC-4).....for a last drop....and didn't post last night......today just not in the mood to play.....only played about 30 minutes.....just enough to complete the 2 missions I do first thing every morning......about a 20K in the "hole".....have one more shot at roulette, and maybe 1 more drop.....an with luck may end the day with 40M plus  in the old till......have two events to attend this weekend......both Saturday and Sunday......in honor of my sis and her hubby's 50th anniversary......so my play will probably be greatly curtailed

  I'm taking a pledge.....to kept my dumb butt off the 200/100 blind tables......I have been playing there first thing in the morning because it's usually the fastest way to make my 16+ hands to complete a mission......however lately they have turned into a clubhouse for Kamikaze,Dive Bombers, and Table Captains....you know the type...big stack......pre-flop bet that would put the rest of the table all-in.....and try as I might I ....A) never get good hands & B) always get hurt......

  A very quiet day at the tables.....played for only 20 minutes, enough to fill the requirements for the two missions I do everyday......also only one roulette spin, but just didn't fell like playing today.....
  I was more in a solitaire mood.......played several of the games I play...multiple times.......

A rather typical day as of late, got in the hole early, managed to get it all back plus a modest 50K on the tables and 360K between 6 drops and  2 roulette........

  Great day on the roulette wheel.....+ free chip drops......gained over 1M......the tables were a different story except for the last 30 minutes when I recovered my loses, and gained 60K+........note: if you hit 1.6M on the roulette wheel you'll only "net" 800K...........still time to play so back to the tables.......

  Almost back to normal game today.WiFi is still a little glitchie  but better was able to get some extended runs on tables, completed all missions, save for roulette which I never play.......
  Just a few observations......a player.......with a single digit rate, and under 1000 hands played who never raises before the flop, does, and raises big........me thinks he has a pocket pair, and I fold....unless of course I have a pocket pair, although some times all he has is an Ace.......flop comes, same player big bet......Ace on the flop...big bet....let we guess he has an Ace in the hole......what he doesn't known is so do I.......plus a 7....and along with the Ace the flop was two 7s......oops.......I let him push the pot......and re-raised after the river........moral.....two Aces are nice, but they can be beat......

They have restored some of the "bells & whistles" to the game......."quests" are back now called "missions".......I'm not sue missions is the right name either but at least it isn't  quests.........still I'm having problems with the WiFi......and trying to play a "live" game hard is near impossible...but will do what I can until they get my connection fixed

  Strange day......when I was able to play, had some great success, but still having WiFi interruptions........a shame because won a pot of over 80K (200/100 blind table) about 20K of that was my all in, which I hate to do but when you flop the nut flush, and based on the board the best anyone else could have were trips, a straight or a lesser flush.....had suited A/Q in the  hole..... 

  I love solitaire, and found a site called "Just Solitaire", that has many different games, I've been playing a lot of "Clock" which once you catch on to it is relatively easy, but also "Labyrinth" which definitely is not easy......finally cleared one today.......one of the nice options on this site is rather then start a new game, you can select "new deal"......and run up your point total........
  Poker yesterday was basically a wash......still having WiFi problems......worst day on the tables I've had in for ever.....but covered the  losses, barely, with chip drops and roulette.....if I had the nuts no one else was betting, and virtually all of the big pots I was in I got rivered or out kicked......I guess that's why it's called gambling......

  Played a few hands, made a nice pot early, and it's a lot easier to play with the big stack on the table, the kamikaze descended, and rather then endure took a couple of shots with them but decided to leave, and doubled my stack + a little, and have other things to attend to.....in the process played my 15K hand in the game.....

Yo-Yo start to the day down about 35K (200/100 blind table).....among lesser loses and bunch on a lose to a better full house, changed tables (1000/500 blind tables) made it all back and a bunch more on a "Nut Flush" in clubs....

 Made 1.03M today 880K on drops and roulette (highest value on the wheel now 800K) and just shy under 160K at the tables, the highest daily total since the game did away with "quests"........the 200/100 blind tables have turned in to peeps pushing the pot on virtually any two cards, so have decided to move up to the 1000/500 or the 2000/1000 tables, it's just as crazy but I can make a lot more playing the tight/slow play style I prefer.......my current chip total just south of 35M.......and that's all from game play, (chip drops,roulette, and table wins),  no buys of chips.....and I'm retired and can arrange to play a lot........

  I should have expected this.......started play a little early then usual yesterday,  had a good start to what I had planned to be an extended time at the tables.....won 70K on one hand (200/100 blind table).....but stopped playing, errands to run, went back later, no WiFi connect........and 30 hours later (about an hour ago) I've got back online.......oy vey......

  For reasons stated above limited play today but made quads twice, on with 9s and the second time with 5s..........3rd time I've made quad 9s.........and a straight flush.....6,7,8,9,10.....in clubs......

  Interesting day at the tables lost a little but gained a little more then I lost, 3 go rounds with a kamikaze, only won one but I had him covered, and won the last one.......I noted last night that only the 200/100 blind tables were open....all tables are open...waiting for a spin in a bit on the roulette wheel and made give one of the higher blind tables a go......but mission for the day accomplished.....rating now #21......

  Looks like a change has been  made to the new "mobile" format......only 200/100 blind tables are available....played for almost an hour, ( a table w/ dive bombers and kamikazes) went in only once......pocket queens, and doubled my stack......left about 40K to the good......but they are taking away all the "bells & whistles" that got me attracted to the game in the first place....... 

  The place I live is having problems, probably hardware with they WiFi ( I don't pay extra it's all part of the rent)......meant to post last night but no internet........have had 3 decent days.....not massive gains but nice gains...and I'm steadily closing in on my next rate boost........but one observation and can't believe the huge pots that are won with one pair, and the ability on the part of many to not be able to see even the possibility of a straight or a flush.....now I get it when only 3 of the 5 cards are board cards.....but one hand that I won flop came 7,8,9 in that order all different suits.....my hole cards 5,6 suited.....no board pairs, no suit with more that 2 cards on the board....I raised (I was in the same blind) and the betting war was on.....two all ins which I had covered, and one dropped after the river having committed 3/4 of their stake.........oy vey......

  Played poker for probably less then an hour, on a 200/100 blind tables w/25K buy in and at days end the 25K became just a little under 110K.....so not a bad day at all...still having trouble seeing wise the new mobile format....but also have gotten kind of hooked on "Clock Solitaire" one  of the many solitaire games on "Just Solitaire"......link over there on the left......also played a bunch of "Fall Spades"(link also on the left".......that game is you and 3 AIs......one is your partner.......there are games online where you can play live Spade games and I'm thinking of checking them out at some point......

  Starting yesterday the only current version of the poker game I've been playing off FB is a "mobile" version......and apparently "quests" have been eliminated.....plus the "tables" have been redone to fit the cellphone format, and the reduced size is difficult for me to see, and if you use a page mag of more the 125% you lose some of the controls........oy vey.......I have made contact with the game and they may roll out a version for PCs......so at least for the time being my play will be somewhat limited........NUTS!!!!!

  I did play a few hands today, and am getting more use to the table display, however I don'y think my eyes would stand the strain of the 2 hour sessions I used to play.....also one of my "tricks" as it were was to look at what the peeps who made it to the reveal and lost were betting on.....in the new format only the winners cards are shown....also they no longer show players ratings, which may or may not be a good thing. but you can still see the rating and their stats if you click on their avatar
  Also in my 'quest" to contact the company "Super Happy Fun Time" I was only a little surprised to find that the company was from the far east, I had assumed that simply because of the name, but under the we are hiring section I found "come join us in Ho Chi Minh City".....I hadn't know that the video game had gotten to Vietnam.......interesting
