   Got a  pretty typical start to the day....logged on to play some Poker @05:52.....being the weekend I was expecting a delay....but got right on a table....and for a brief time it was just me and the dealer....1 hand head up....then a third arrived and for the next 40 minutes [+/-] it was a 3 handed game....briefly 4 and sometimes 2....the numbers stayed about the same but the "faces" were changing often....then with-in two hands it was a 6 handed game....for the next 20 minutes [+/-]....and then to the end of the session back to a table of three....first 40 minutes....a decent table....not much pre-flop raising....mostly small/blind pots....but with the arrival of more players....there was among  them a kamikaze....you know the type....usually comes to the table with a min-buy-in....and pre-flop splashes the pot with his/hers' whole stack....sometimes it works but  generally not....and usually there are one or two other players....I call them dive bombers....who are willing to follow the kamikaze down...[call or go all-in right behind him]....but the tactic is most effective when done pre-flop....case in point....I/ve got an Eight/Seven suited in the big blind....the kamikaze is to my left....first re-action....dang....another set of good pocket cards that I won't get to play....and to my shock kamikaze just calls the big blind....maybe only the second time since he arrived....I got to see the flop for a check....flop comes....I check...he goes all-in....and 2 dive bombers follow suit....and I called....note: to all who play this way....don't wait until after the flop....because the flop might come...Five/Six/Nine....and I added a very nice pot to my stack....and yes he got me once....I flopped trip Fives....unfortunately so did he....and had me out kicked....but it's a call I would have made anyways....and being up at the time I do tend to play a little looser....play hands I would generally fold....chase on the turn looking for a card to make a straight or flush....and make a 50/50 call on the river....but only if I'm "up" and only if the "price is right"....ergo....76 minutes played....116 hands played....39.3 seconds/hand....24 winners....1 out of every 4.8 hands....left with an extra 32,080$.....[no slots....pace of play way to fast].....[and after hitting the bottom amount [63'K] on the old roulette wheel 3 straight times....had a chip....nit top of the mark....for 1,680'K]

   1K/.5K table with 125K max-buy-in....got right on....a very fluid table....everything from heads up to a six handed game....a decent table....sure some pot pushing....an any to carder or two....and a brief raid by a kamikaze....but by-enlarge a decent table....caught some nice hands....made straights four times....even got in to a bout of "my pair is bigger than yours''....of course I  cheated...I had a straight....made a few decent pots....but no big pots....and not often enough....just to many blinds....and two many times paying a raise to see the flop or the turn and coming up empty....

   Got a pretty normal start to the morning Poker....took my "chair" at a 1K/.5K table with my /usual 125K max-buy-tn....a table which ranged from a few hands of "heads up" up to a 6 handed game....for the most part a fairly calm table....usual at most a min-pre-flop raise or just a call around the table of the blinds....but from time to time....a player would make a large pre-flop raise "just out of the blue"....or after losing the hand before.....being a tad "on tilt".....only a little pot pushing....some continuation bets....appearances by a couple of "any two carders"....but basically a table which provided I'm catching....fits my game to a "T".....
   I've been thinking about how to describe the session....I've been talking about the fact that "even a blind raccoon will occasionally find a dumpster" well today this blind raccoon found the whole dang landfill....
   First 20 hands or so was getting good looks in the pocket....but missing most of the flops....had won a few hands but only small pots....I'm in the small blind....and one of the players who hand done this before bets 15K....now normally that's a quick fold....but I was under AA fire....pocket Aces....made the call...and raise checked....board paired on the river....2's....he made a half-hearted stab at the pot and I took a very nice pot....and that's how the rest of the session went....seemed like anytime another play threw a large chuck of change in the pot...I had the answer....just one example....on the button with Four/Three both Clubs....flopped 4 to a straight, four to a flush, four to a straight flush [An Ace & Two of Clubs + ????]...an any two carder had min raised pre-flop and another post flop....I just smooth called both times....turn a blank....another continuation bet and another call....then I saw the hand indicator sliding right in a hurry....river was a 5 of Clubs....a straight-flush-wheel....any two carder all-in....another call to my right....and a very nice pot....ergo....72 minutes played....90 hands played....4.6 seconds/hand....21 winners....1 out of every 4.29 hands....left with 201,830$ I hadn't brung with me....[no slots]....but maybe a weird omen....when I looked at  my "Total Bank".....the three digits in the 100K slot were 666....

   Awoke this morning....the clock read 05:01....first thought was...."Hey....get an early start".....2nd thought "roll back over"....logged on to play some Poker @05:58.....1K/.5K table with the typical 125 max-buy-in....a very tumultuous table....anywhere from heads up to a 6 handed game....and changing almost every hand....pot pushers....any two carders....kamikazes....dive bombers....the only style never appearing was a  table captain....nobody stayed around that long....every pre-flop action from an all-in....big bet....min bet...or just calls and a check  of the big blind....no recognizable pattern....
   Wasn't catching very often but when I did I caught some nice hands....made trips 3 times and a  straight....but all 4 times....got little if no action....right hands wrong times....and because of the comings and goings got caught in the blinds a few times....once was in the blinds 4 straight hands....oy vey....and had some decent pockets and paid up to a 5K raise to see the flop....only to miss more often then not....got distracted once and made a dummkopf call for 11'K when I should have folded....stack was under 90K.....clock tells me I've played a little over 30 minutes...in the small blind looking a Ace/Five....both Spades....I thought....possible wheel....possible nut flush....call of a 5K pre-flop raise....flop was an  Eight and a King....both Spades...another card....don't remember....then the turn....and the blind raccoon found the dumpster....10 of Spades....I check....a 5K bump and a call and I called....the river....Six of Spades....I threw out a min raise....which was meet by a re-raise to 25K....a call....and a threw in another 2K raise on top of the 25K....check....check....thought the well was dry and checked....one other player had also made a flush....but not the nuts....the other 2 pair....got back everything I'd lost....and then a kamikaze....got caught in the blinds again....folded from the small blind and was gone....[off to collect a drop]....[[back] so far today 3 drops@42'K w/ads. & a spin@840'K....dang....forgot to claim the chip]....ergo....35 minutes played....42 hands played....47.7 seconds/hand....8 wins....1 every 5.9 hand....up 1,725$ [which includes a 3/4 run at slots for 800$]

   Logged on at 06:13 to play some Poker....as/usual....1K/.5K table w/125K max-buy-in....but a change from yesterdays 8 handed game with a slow pace of a hand every 62.4 seconds to a table that varied  between 3 and 5 players  and a rather brisk pace of 40.9 seconds per hand....no really raids by kamikazes or dive bombers but a most hands did have a pre-flop raise....some pot pushing and  the occasional game of "my pairs bigger than yours".....there were a few hands after the river when everyone at the table [save me] was all-in.....one of the players after a hot streak....stack around 500'K....lost a hand....down to  about 400K....and preceded to go on "full tilt"....was busted within a couple of hands....popped back in....still "on tilt" and busted out again.....
   One thing  about yesterday remained the same....I just wasn't catching....won a few more pots but except for one....they were all small, blind, or nearly blind pots....and even-though I did take one good size pot....on except for a straight....the only real hand I made the entire session....with table size and pace got eaten alive by the blinds....so I'm in the small blind....looking at pocket Sixes....a 5K pre-flop bet to my right....if I had had anything but a pocket pair I would have folded....but I can't walk away from a pair in the hole unless I was forced all-in....call....don't remember the other 2 cards in the flop....just the 3rd Six.....first to act....checked....a continuation  5K bet to my right....call....turn...paired the board....yup....the 4th Six....decided to raise 2K....one call and one re-raise and I re-raise....a fold and to the right a re-raise....I re-raised and a call....don't have guess one what the river card was but I raise again....got a fold....ergo....47 minutes played....69 hands played....8 winners....1 out of every 8.625 hands....and just too many blinds....left 23,240$ on the table....no slots....did take the roulette spin last night for 105'K....and 3 drops w/ ads. already today....[drum roll]....current "Total Bank": 300,014,040$....to bad it's just faux money....I  have never traded real money for game money....the amount is do to the  fact that I'm retired and can aggressively play the drop/roulette part of the game....

   Rolled out of bed and logged on to play some Poker [Super Happy Fun Time style]....slight delay....just a  few seconds and  landed in an 8 handed game....1K/.5K blinds with my 125K max-buy-in in hand....except for the comings and goings....and there were a lot of both....it basically stayed a table of 8....and in fact something I've haven't seen in awhile....a table of 9....
   for the first 10 minutes [+/-] it was a very typical "end of session death match"....when that was over I was hoping for some calm play which I not only prefer but fits the style I prefer to play....small ball....trapping....what did I get....for virtually the rest of the session....a series of strong raids by kamikaze and dive bombers....on almost every hand either a medium thru large thru all-in pre-flop raise...and half the table was all-in after the river....at one point....I was in the small blind with pocket 6's....praying that nobody went all-in....to that point hadn't played a hand....just....and for this table just applies....a 5K raise....no re-raises....I called....flopped the trips....just a min-raise....I called ....a three handed game....turn and river put an over-card on the board....no straight or flush possible...I checked on the river....the other two players went all in....I had both covered and made the call...knowing that the only way I could get beat is if one of them had a pocket pair....that match  the over card....they didn't....a very nice pot....a while later had King/Jack unsuited....called a min-raise....and flopped the King high straight....with similar results....won only one other pot the entire session....a blind pot when the table was recovering from multiple exits and entrances....several players went bust the hand before....but having the right cards at the right time is key....of as the old adage goes "Even a blind raccoon will eventually find a dumpster"....ergo....79 minutes played....76 hands played....62.4 seconds/hand....3 wins....1 every 25.3 hands....and yet....left with an extra 52,540$ i didn't bring with me [that includes 1,200$ from a 3 for 11 run at the slots]....[off to collect a drop]

   Got one of the earlier starts to the day today....logged on to a 1K/.5K blind table w/ the /usual 125K max-buy-in....and as Yogi Berra once said "It was deja vu all over again" just like yesterday a very aggressive player....huge pre-flop raises and usually an all-in by the end of the hand....only this time it lasted only a short time...."end of session death match".....a very spotty session from a catching stand point....would be ice cold for several hands and than catch a monster....early on....after the beginning chaos had abated....I'm looking at Seven/Six suited in Diamonds.....flop has two Sevens....a small raise....just a smooth call....turn is the fourth Seven....a little bigger raise....I re-raised 3'K....player called....frankly I don't remember what the river was....and didn't care....another raise....I re-raise again....and I guess the other guy thought better of I and folded....but best pot of the day....after that however....although I won a few more pots....just never caught the right hand at the right time....basically a 4 or 5 handed game most of the time....just too many blinds....I did win 14 pots....but....I came to this game with no holdem experience....played draw and stud....were a split pot is rare....today 4 of my "wins" were split pots....and I hand when I was in the big blind was during a shuffle of players coming and going....the big blind to my right....I had Ace/Ten unsuited....called the big blind....and the rest of the table folded....nuts....
   I've noticed over the last couple of days that the total bank numbers have changed....in the "hundreds"....all of the "hundreds" are now divisible by 5....they must have "installed" a rounding function in to the program....[pause while I take a drop....missed the last one because I got involved in the USA vs Spain game in the Women's World Cup]....ergo....70 minutes played....80 hands played....56.5 seconds/hand....14 wins....one out of every 5.71 hands....but if you subtract the 5 hands mentioned above....1 out of every 8.89 hands....managed to leave with 3,425$ more than I brung with me....[no slots]

   Overslept this morning and never logged on to 07:03....took a drop....checked that my log sheet that I record my play on was ready....first try at 07:05 got right on a 1K/.5K table with my 125K max-buy-in....for most of the session a 5 or 6 handed game....not in the blinds....first to act [blind blind on my immediate right....shamattah in the hole and folded....a huge pre-flop raise to my left....thought....ah....end of session death match....the big raise eventually went all-in and busted out...present at the table were two big stacks....the raise bounced right back with a fresh 125K buy-in....and for the next just shy of 40 minutes....except for a couple of hands raised pre-flop every hand....at least 10K and as much as all-in....and busted out only to bounce back in a number of times....I never played a hand until the 23 minute mark in my session....folded on every flop....that hand I looked in the hole to a blaze of anti-aircraft fire....yup....AA....pocket Aces....player is  on the button....bets 10K....table of six at the time...everyone before me calls except the small blind with a fold....didn't think twice....called....flop was a blank....every one including me checked to the button....who much to my surprise checked....turn another small card....no straight draw....flush draw....or board pair....big blind raises 1K....I called as did two others....river another blank....big blind another 1K and I called....maybe the big blind made 2 pair....rest of the table folded and my pockets held up....after the "bully" left....only won two other pots....the hour was upon me....played to  the button and left....ergo....62 minutes played....70 hands played....53 seconds/hand....3 winners....1 out of every 23.33 hands played....and yet because of the one nice pot....took an extra 1,075$ with me from the table....and with folding most of the  session had time to go 5 for 20 spins on slots....won 9,700$....

   I had a roulette spin at 11:30....just a few minutes ago....had a 2x chip....one of the benefits of gain the 10K+ mission....hit collect....roulette wheel appeared....hit spin....and a "watch ad" came up....hit yes....no ad appeared....but the roulette wheel came back....no spin....and won 1,680'K [note: if you have a chip wheel shows 1.7'M....but you receive 1,680'K....top value 840'K x 2]....I have no idea what  happened except all I can't think of was it was probably a glitch in the program....but other than that I have no guess....but don't get it twisted....I ain't complaining....I'll take the 1,680'K gladly....just would like to know what in the in the world just happened....
   Logged on to take the drop that was waiting  for me at 06:26....watched an ad....and added 42'K to the balance sheet....tried to log-on to  both a 1K/.5K table and a 2K/1K table....but it's the weekend....no joy....a few other failed attempts later....got on a 1K/.5K table with my 125K @07:05....just under 40 minutes....which ain't bad....with little change in numbers was a 5 handed game most of the session....a very experienced table....a couple of the players had more total hands played than I do....but at one time all five of us had more than 10K hands played....some with tournament experience....but except towards the end....if there was any pre-flop raises....just a min-raise....and except for a couple of hands just wasn't catching....then another player arrived and raised pre-flop every had....and at some point in most hands was all-in....I started to catch some decent pockets....but wasn't willing to pay the price to see the flop and if I did catch a hand wasn't willing to keep paying to play....just not my small ball style....guy busted out and popped right back in a couple of times [dang auto-re-buy]....and I kept having to eat the blinds....ergo....42 minutes played....48 hands played....52.5 seconds per hand....4 winners....1 out of every 12 hands....left 6,200$....had been up a little before the....bully arrived....[no slots]

   Logged on @06:22 to a 1K/.5K table with my 125K max-buy-in [105'K of that was "freshly minted"....hit the wheel for 105'K....]....table of four with 2 big stack....one just under 300'K and  one just shy of 500'K....in the small blind with Nine/Seven suited....got to see the flop for just a call of the big blind....and preceded to flop two pair....no over cards....turn was a Queen....river a Six....no straight or flush....no board pair....first to act and I min-raised....got re-raised for  about 5K....called....guess what two cards the re-raiser had in the pocket....yup....Queen/Six....lost to a runner-runner again....and if anything the session went down from there....won a small pot within the first 4 or 5 hands played....didn't win another until the 33 minute mark of the session....not that I wasn't getting good looks at pocket cards....but we picked up just after I won that small pot....a player who was betting 10K and up pre-flop on virtually very had....and came in with around a 50'K buy-in....he won some lost some....got busted....came back twice....before being sent packing for the last time....wasn't willing to take shot at him with the two big stacks lurking....when he finally departed....calm returned....very so briefly....won 12 more pots but all of the small pot variety....and then came a new player....this one with a max-buy-in....but same style....just a little too much for me to weather again....played to the button and took my leave....ergo....80 minutes played....94 hands played....51 seconds/hand....14 winners....1 out of every 6.71 hands....left 50,700$ on the table....[no slots]....but with both 16+ and 10K+ missions in hand....for quite I while I always played on the 200/100 blind tables until the crazy play drove me up to the 1K/.5K tables....I'm giving serious thought to maybe moving up again to the 2K/1K tables....see if I can avoid the mayhem which seems to have followed me....I resist it....because as I've stated before....I prefer "small ball poker".....we'll have to see....

   Got a pretty typical start to the day....logged on a 1K/.5K table with my 125K in hand....what proved to be a three to five handed game for the entire session....and what for the most part was a benign table....very little in pre-flop nonsense....and except for some large bets after the river the only raises were minimum raises....continuation bids....except for flopping trips....twice....but with 3 to a straight or flush both time....just raised the minimum....with yesterday in the "back of my  mind" was a little gun-shy....but both held up....never won a pot bigger than a small/blind pot....
   Normally I would have played an extended session....my kind of table....but wasn't catching that many decent hands....and frankly just wasn't in the mood....decided to play through the blind and exit....but caught decent hole cards....missed the flop....and exited after the next hand....ergo....32 minutes played....42 hands played....42 hands played....47.5 seconds/hand....pretty typical pace of play for the table size....8 winners....1 out of every 5.25 hands played....left with 325$ I hadn't brung with me....

[Just some observations from the Poker table]
1] one thing I can't figure out is why....unless their were leaving....would a player fold from the big blind when they could play for a check....your "money" is already in the pot....not often but I  have won some nice pots on hands I never would have played but got to see the flop for a check....once had Nine/Three unsuited....flopped trip Nines....and quads on the turn....rare but you're in the pot....why not "see" the flop....
2] how many times has somebody gone all-in or made a huge pre-flop bet and the rest of the table folds....and the raiser flashes the "afraid to gamble" blurb....nobody is "gambling" here....including the guy who flashes that message....the money is faux money....game money....it ain't real....the game we play at SHFT Poker....is a poker sim....it's fun....I enjoy it greatly....but it's not gambling....because nothing of any value is every lost or won....unless you count the time you play....I'm retired....and I have plenty of time to "spend".....

   Logged on just a little later today [06:26] but got right on a 1K/.5K table with my /usual 125K max-buy-in....first few hands was a spectator at an "end of session death match".....after the participants had departed....was at a table that while there were a few "heads up" hands and as many as 6 players....for the most part a four or five handed game....I actually won a fair share of the pots....average 1 win out of every 4.39 hands played....but for the greater part they were small to decent....case in point....flopped a full house....raised minimum 3 straight times and all i got was calls....you have to catch the right hand at the right time to take a big pot....my problem today was I was catching a great hand at precisely the worst possible time....I'd take a big hit....then win some pots....get almost back to even....and take another hit....turned, rivered,out kicked....better two pair, straight or flush....or end up with a split pot....one jumps to mind....the one i got away from....but still took a hit....but it could have been worse....was in one of the blinds....at the time we had an "any  two carder" at the table who raised to 2.5K....I'm looking at Four/Three suited in Clubs....a hand I would play even if I wasn't in the blinds....flop gave me 4 to the flush....and 3 to a straight....a 2.5K continuation bet....I called....turn card gave me the flush....I raised the minimum....got some calls....and then  came the death blow....river put the fourth Club on the board....another player with a huge raise....with the low card in the flush....my goose was cooked....I'd checked being first to act....and when that raise came I folded....raiser had the Ace and the nut flush....and that's how the day went in a nutshell....ergo....122 minutes played [longest session I've played in quite a while]....145 hands played....50.53 seconds/hand....33 winners....left -31,225$ on the table.....first two drops were @42'K w/ads....with a 3rd one in a few minutes.....to add insult to injury....first roulette....hand a chip....bottom of the barrel 63'K....[no slots]....

   I play several different types of solitaire....some to help me keep my old beat up hands limber....hence the games I play for speed....most of the other games could be described as "sorting" games....something I've always been good at and to help kept me thinking...keeps me sharp  mentally....and 2 or 3 of the games I play to teach me humility....never had much of that....games that are very difficult to win....Aces Up....Crescent....and sometimes Labyrinth....I sometimes "cherry pick"[link] games particularly the games I play for speed and sometimes Klondike[double] & Josephine.....with Crescent If I haven't reached 20 cards to the foundation piles before the first shuffle....I try another game....have played too many games and know those aren't going anywhere....I only record the games that I have no more moves after the last shuffle....

   It had been my original intent to leave the roulette that would be playable just after mid-night....that was before a long conversation with the guy who lives across the hall....and seeing I got  back to my rooms just before mid-night....made no sense not to stay up a little later and take the spin....105'K....
   Logged on at @06:50 took the drop....at time I've taken 3 so far today....all@21'K....no ads....on a 1K/.5K table w/ my /usual 125K max-buy-in....I've been trying think of the proper description for the table....the best I can come up with is the table was  "break room or coffee brake table"....players would pop in....play 10 hands or less and usually exit....win or lose on an all-in....almost nobody was there even long enough for me to click their avatar to see their stats....or get any feel for their style of play....pure chaos reigned....
   I won a bunch of hands but most were of the blind/small/decent pot variety....some of my better hands were washed away by the flood of the river....and got beat by runner-runner a few times....just my re-occurring nightmare....most times decent pockets....paid the price of a small raise to see the flop....either missed it completely, got a small piece, or got rivered....dang....best hand of the night was playing an Ace/Five suited....flopped the wheel....one played made a small raise...after the flop...smooth call....turn a blank....raised again....I re-raise the minimum....he called....another raise on the river....i re-raised again....he folded....rats....just too many blinds....and too many missed flops....ergo....90 minutes played....127 hands played...42.5 seconds/hand....23 winners....1 out of every 5.5 hands....but couldn't catch the right hand at the right time....[no slots]

   Had an unexpected  start to the day....logged on to Poker....took a drop that was waiting @06:41....and then tried to take a "chair" at a 1K/.5K table with no luck....preceded to check emails....Facebook....played some solitaire....but tried again from time to time with the same negative results....@07:44 after another failure....tried a 2K/1K table and got a "seat" [250'K max-buy-in in tow....and for the entirety of the session a very chaotic table....anywhere from 3 handed up to briefly 6 handed....and no recognizable pattern....no pre-flop raise one hand and a pre-flop all-in the next and everything in between....a mix of rooks and very experienced "tournament style"  players....a couple of "an two carders" and even a few visits by kamikaze....just a wild ride....and has become routine for me....was catching good looks in the pocket cards I was dealt....but missed far more flops than I hit....did I win a bunch of pots....yup....but with except for 3 pots....all were with 2 pair or less....and all small to decent in size....only made 3 "hands" the entire time....that is to say trips or better....a turned a straight....a river a full house....and....
   I was in one of the blinds....looking at King/Nine suited....a 5K pre-flop raise to my  right....wanted to take a look so called....flop King/King/????....[honestly don't remember anything other than the 2 Kings]....first to act....check....a 5K continuation bet....and a smooth call....did want to scare anyone away....turn....the last King....I'm a trapper....check....another 5K continuation bet....another smooth call....a river Ace....and the  raise made a sizable raise this time....again I didn't want to scare him off so re-raise the minimum....I knew he was beat....looking at the board....no possibility of a straight flush and even if he had pocket Aces....the best he could have as Aces over Kings full....[he only hand one Ace]....and so a game of "My pairs bigger than Your's" or rather "My monster is bigger".....he was down to about 25K and I expected an all-in which didn't happen....I think he probably thought we'd split the pot....just called my last re-raise....[the downside to this wild ride was the excitement triggered my old nemesis....essential tremors....[see link in left sidebar]....and I was shaking so bad I could barely control the mouse.....but the win was worth it....ergo....93 minutes played....104 hands played....53.7 seconds per hand....17 winners....1 every 6.1 hands....left with an extra 63,532$ [no slots][just hit the wheel for 189'K]

   When I went to log-on and play some Poker this morning....didn't get what I expected....with it being the weekend.....I figured delays on getting a table and then probably a table of 7 or 8....got right on a table first try @06:09.....the usual 1K/.5'K blinds.....and me with my 125K max-buy-in....and although it varied with the comings and going except for a few hands was a 3 to 5 handed game....for the first maybe 35 minutes it was a table with out any real discernible pattern....on any given hand anything pre-flop from a call of the blinds to an all-in....same after the flop. turn & river....at about the 35 minute mark....for the next several hands pure chaos....multiple all-ins on every hand....but when the dust settled a "Table Captain" emerged with more often than not....5K pre-flop raise....
   I had been catching decent pocket cards all session....and more often than not would call the raise to see the flop....and did win some hands....but the game turned on two hands....I flopped trips twice....the Nines went down when the river put 3 to a straight on the board....guy to my right made the straight....and the Kings lost to a flush....after the flop....one Heart on the board....after the turn...2 Hearts....anybody want to guess what suit the river was....or what another guy to my right had in the hole....oy vey....ergo....70 minutes played....94 hands played....44.7 seconds/hand....14 winners....1 out of every 6.7 hands....left 43,688 on the table....rats....[[no slots] couple the pace of play and with decent pockets was "in" more hands]

   Got kind of a late start  this morning....had a very restless night....logged on @06:50....took the drop waiting for me....[because of the restless night had taken the roulette spin @00:43....no ad...[see yesterday's post]....tried both 1000/500 blind & 2K/1K blind tables....no joy....went to check email....Facebook....came back @07:05 and got on a 1000/500 blind table....with my usual 125K max-buy-in....actually not bad for a weekend.....
   When I took my "chair" it was a table of eight and remained so for the entire session....with the exception of a few hands here and there when peeps left....either voluntarily....or by busting out and it might take a couple of hands to fill back up to a table of 8....and what a table it was....a few hands with little or no "action".....but many more hands....at some point in the hand at least one player was all in....no real pattern to the play....other than a bunch of players letting loose on the weekend and throwing chips around....and I thought I had caught the right hand at the right time....Pocket Kings....King/Jack/??? on the flop....Jack on the turn....and at that precise moment "Murphy's Law" [link] went into action....I was on the button and the game froze....I got the "re-connecting" blurb....by the time I got back on....I had missed my turn and the game had auto-folded me....&%$#!!....and quite a large pot....which I would have won.....with what was on the board the house was the "nuts"....I wasn't going anywhere....at least that's what I thought....which reminds me of what was once said about Murphy...."he was an optimist".....only won four pots the entire session....on a 2 pair, a straight, and 2 full houses....but the pot that got away....would have been the diff between being in the "black and not the red"....ergo....65 minutes played....52 hands played....75 seconds/hand....4 winners....1 out of every 13 hands [did I mention I wasn't catching]....left 21,500$ on the table....but took 1,700$ with 5 out of nine wins on slots....

   Started out just like most days....logged on to a 1000/500 blind table....w/ my max-but in of 125'K...@06:16....now lately at least during the week that would put me at a 3 or 4 handed game....but today a table of 6....and except for a couple of hands was a 5 or 6 handed game through out....with a couple of big stacks....the biggest was around 500'K....and he was not afraid to use it....not every hand....but if he was in the hand....some pretty big raises....won one pot early when there was not action on that hand....made trip Kings on the river....one in the hole....another in the flop....made a min raise....got one call....and then the big stack aka. table captain....started "throwing his weight around".....I was playing very cautiously but was catching decent pockets but just not hitting the flops....was down about 5'K....Queen/Nine suited....big blind....Cap't makes a min raise pre-flop....had to see the flop...called....flop made it four to the straight....but would need runner-runner for flush....Cap't continuation bet....called....turn....no flush card but made the Queen high straight....river a blank....I was first to act and made a min raise....Cap't a big raise....and with my call a pot around 170'K....not sure how much....but before the hand I had 120'K and after  just over 200'K [I'm sure the "house" took it's usual 5%]....never did take another decent pot the entire session....Just caught the right hand at the right time....and the Captain....dude went "on tilt".....all-in on almost every hand and in just a few hands had busted out....back with 125'K....and a couple of hands later....busted again....back again....fold....and gone....with the quick return[s] had to have had auto-re-buy on....I see a lot of peeps do that....lose a big pot and than try to get it right back....seldom works....although I was getting good looks at pocket cards all day....and had to pay a min-raise to see the flop....really never caught a great hand again....ergo....61 minutes played....66 hands played....55.5 seconds/hand [a very comfortable pace]....8 winners....1 out of every 8.25 hands....left with an extra 33,588$ I didn't have at the start....[no slots]

   A little later than normal start this morning.....but had a head start....collect a drop after 23:00 last night that I'll count in today's "day's end".....logged on @6:27 to what was a 3 handed game.....and never more than  briefly a 5 handed game....average probably 4 players....the /usual 1000/500 blind table with the  /usual max-buy-in....won my fair share of the pots but mostly small blind pots....not a whole lot of big pots or "crazy play"....except for a brief visits from a couple of kamikaze.....and another player who if he was still in the hand after the river card dropped went all-in....one hand....more or less a blank board....no board pairs....no three to a flush....although the turn put 3 to a straight on the board....Jack/Ten/Eight....so he goes all-in on the river....had somewhere about 25'K +/-.....and I covered the bet....oops....did I forget....Queen/Nine in the hole....later I could also claim to have won a pot with trips....and that would be true from a certain POV....but I won the pot with a Queen which just so happened to be high card....I hate it when the board has 3 of a kind or 2 pair....I usual avoid such hands unless.....a blind/small pot....no big raise in front of me....in the case of the trips....there is always the chance that somebody has made a house or even quads....of course if it's you with the quads a pretty safe bet....or a pocket pair for house....otherwise I run and hide....with the two pair....a better two pair....a house or even quads are possible....have I won a couple of times....sure....but I've lost way more times than I've won or rather would have lost more times if I hadn't already folded....I lost a full house on a two pair board....to a better full house....and since then rarely play for any big pot in similar situations....unless I've got quads....ergo....[oops I'm 7 minutes late on a roulette spin....dang....63'K]....33 minutes played....49 hands played....40.4 seconds/hand....28 winners.....1 out of every 3.5 hands....left with 13,872$ I hadn't brung with me....[no slots]

   Logged on to play some Poker @5:53....1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....a table of three sometimes four....almost no pre-flop nonsense....actually very little action at all....the few times there were anything other that a small/blind pot....I had drawn a blank....either I did have decent hole cards or I missed the flop....and turn & river were no  help....or had shamattah....did win a few small/blind pots but nothing to balance out a very quick pace of play and too many blinds....did catch a decent hand about the 35 minute mark of the session and got back almost to my 125K buy-in....then the table evolved into a table of 6 and one of the new players was an "any-two-carder" min raise pre-flop, after the flop, after the turn, and usually a larger one after the river....he was to my right....I was in the small blind with the button between us....looking down at my pocket cards I see old "Anne".....Ace/King....unsuited....now if you've read this slag heap before you know about my disparaging remarks about old "Anna"....looks great but hardly ever wins....min raise as expected and I called....flop was a blank....first to  act....check....the min raise to my right....call....turn was a King....and again,check,min raise,call....river was an Ace....check....all-in to my right [for about 25'K]....a quick look at the board....unless he had pockets and made trips....but I had watch him and if the had....he would have made a big raise as soon as that hit....call and the only real pot I won all session....after that only won one more small pot....the hour was fast approaching so as is my custom....played to the button....caught decent pockets....missed the flop....and left on the next hand....ergo....63 minutes played....86 hands played....44 seconds/hand [but pace had slowed once it was a 6 handed game].....21 winners [but except for 2 pots....all small/blind pots]....1 out of every 4.1 hands....took an extra 4,250 from the table when I left....[no slots]

   Logged on to play some Poker @ 06:23 [1000/500 blind table with my 125K max-buy-in].....4 handed game....and didn't take long to realized I had sat down in the middle of an "end of session death match"....the other three players all had stacks in the 300'K to 500'K range....and the chips were flying....lost an early hand when I flopped a straight and lost to a rivered flush.....after a short time the numbers reduced to I sat for alone for a bid until new players arrived....a in a brief calm when 3 small/blind pots....and then arrived an "any two carder"....a would be table captain....and one player who if he was still in after the river card....was all-in....had been getting good looks all session in the pocket cards but wasn't hitting flops and had to keep paying to see the flop and keep missing....flopped trips....only to get beaten by a rivered house....was down a bundle....finally was in the small blind with pocket Sixes....hand to pay the raise of the "any two carder" and flopped the straight....turn and river were blanks....no board pair....no 3 to a straight or flush....and our resident "I'm in after the river so all-in".....and despite being down a bundle....had him covered and called....a decent pot....still down a bunch....but the 10K+ banner appeared....I was on the button....with a marginal and without even looking at the clock....fold....and ran for the exit....now it felt like I had played for nye on to forever....and got a shock when....ergo....24 minutes played....42 hands played....34.3 seconds/hand....I did't check back through my records but IIRC this is the fastest pace of play I can remember....only 4 winners....1 every 10.5 hands....did I mention I wasn't catching....left 59,200$ on the table....but was just lucky to get away with what little of my sanity still intact....[[no slots][but at that pace of play....who had time to play slots....I hardly had enough time to catch my breath]]

   Logged on to Poker @06:06 this morning and got right on a 1000/500 blind table with my 125'K max-buy-in in hand....and what a table it was....all I could think of was a food fight in the cafetiere when I was in high school....only it was chips that were flying around this table....we had the jock[aka: table captain] and the cheerleader [aka: pot pusher]....and assorted others visited during my stay....several raids by kamikaze....and assorted "any two carders"....oy vey....and I was catching decent hole cards....had to "pay" to see the flop....and missed most of them....had managed to scrap a few pots off the floor....and had my 10K+ and 16 hands mission in tow....looked at the clock and 30 minutes played was approaching....table captain left....for the third time....first two busted out....last just left....but a kamikaze took his place....I was down about 25'K but just to crazy for me....in the small blind with Eight/Seven suited....last hand because 30 minutes had arrived.....a 2.5K raise.....I called....and for a change so did the kamikaze....flopped four to an Eight high straight....again a 2,5'K raise....again call....call....turn and my 4 to an Eight high straight became a Nine high straight....and the kamikaze went all-in....other player fold....took one look...no possible flush or board pair....except maybe on the river....so called....river was a blank....and I got back to even....but next hand pocket Kings that held up....a few hand later....a nice two pair....but a player arrived I had seen before....big time pot-pusher....I was on the button with garbage....and was gone....ergo...42 minutes played....49 hands played....51.4 seconds/hand....7 winners....1 out of every 7 hands played....up 4,825$ on the table + 200$ from 1/3 on the slots....

   Although because of the loss of my WiFi for just over 24 hrs. from early evening Friday to  early evening yesterday....decided not to even try to log on to a table....but did take one drop and one roulette spin last night for a total of 147'K....and two more drops this morning both@42'K with ads....[all the above will be counted in today's "Day's End Poker"....
   Started to try to find a "chair" to play some Poker @06:40....both at a 1000/500 blind table & a 2K/1K table....periodically until 08:35 when I took my "place" at a 1000/500 blind table with my 125K-max buy-in in hand....the near 2 hour delay is pretty typical of a "weekend" attempt....
   Despite the difficulty of getting on I took a "chair" and found myself in a four handed game....and within 3 or 4 hands a three handed game.....maybe a few hands at 5 handed during the duration but majority of hand were 3 or 4 players....no real recognizable pattern to the play....everything from massive pots triggered by a pre-flop all-in....or a game of "My Pairs Bigger than Yours'"....to small/blind pots....did manage to catch enough of the later to accomplish the 10K+ mission.....but never caught a hand at the right time to play in a big pot....had one hand with pocket King/Jack in Spades....when some one to my right went all in pre-flop for around 250'K....I hand around 120'K at the time....just not worth the risk....so folded....oh you'd like to know what was in the flop....Nine/Queen/Ace....and yes all Spades....the nut flush and 4 to a Royal....which never materialized....but would have won the pot....but....given the same situation again....I would  have made the same decision to fold....a flop like that....what are the odds....[the pot was won by a pair of Kings]....just wasn't catching except for that one which "got away"....ergo....25 minutes played....36 hands played....41.7 seconds/hand....6 winners out of 36 hands....1 out of 6....left 13,675 on the table....just not enough small/blind pots to cover all the blinds on a 3 or 4 handed game....
