Have basically taken the day off from playing......played very heavily yesterday....probably the most I've played in a very long time......but except for filling the two guests i do first thing every morning, I haven't played another hand all day......have felt a little below par today physically......and other then keeping up with chip drops and roulette have not played a lick......but tomorrow is another day......have discovered on the free site listed on the left a solitaire game called "clock", semi-mindless but it's what I  feel like right now...... 

  Probably played more hands today then I have in quite awhile.....mixed results but had a great run on the last table I played, the highlight of the day was making quad kings......

  After yesterday despite the fact that playing bumper cars with the Kamikaze is not my style occasionally if I want to fill the experience quest fast there is something to be said for it......if I have decent hole cards......but truth be told you can have great hole cards and lose, and bad hole cards and win, it's just the luck of the flop et al.......but I still would avoid it if I don't have those betting covered......plus I generally would avoid it if several players are all in....

  I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.....two of the quests are for medal points and experience points but no criteria is given......during my first run at the tables this morning in 10 minutes I not only played 16+ hands but made the 10K+ cash to complete the 2 quests I do everyday.....and didn't even pay any attention to the point quests for medal and experience, but decided later that the completion of the experience quest would be handy.....now you to collect 12K points and discovered that I had all but a tad under 1500 of the points and in about 25 minutes of play made them...but I got to thinking how did it happen.....and then I remembered I had played with the Kamikaze, had 3 nice hole cards and won 2 out 3......most times I just fold and hope they just get tired of stealing blinds.....but maybe if you have the bet covered and a good pocket hand, something must be said about occasionally taking a shot.....

  Logged on, collect a free chip drop, went to a 200/100 blind table and one of the players ( the high stack) was betting large before the flop...10 minutes of mostly "folds"....but left with 16+ hands...then to a 1000/500 blind table and there was a nest of Kamikaze & Dive Bombers....maybe 5 hands.....then to a 2000/1000 blind....maybe 6 hands got my 10k minimum and retreated....first roulette of the day hit it big, 1.5m checked my total and it was there... did a "get" and had an hour multiplier, and since I was close too going up one rating......played until I got it......now a "20".......went back and was 750K light in my total winnings.......did some research...if it was real money between federal and state tax you'd never see about 50% of it...I wonder if the software is based on a real money cash game?  

  Usually I'm online and and starting my daily routine on the poker game, generally between 6 & 8 AM (UTC-4)......but never made my first action until 10:36 AM......when I went to log on, I had no WiFi....and it was going to take a  while to fix, so I walked, had a leisurely first meal and started my play.....

  So I logged on this morning, claimed the free chips that had dropped overnight, and went off to the tables to play my 16+ hands and win 10K+ to complete the two quests I do every morning I play.....and my luck fell into a "nest" of Kamikaze and Dive Bombers, after a several hands I got looking at the clock and had played about 12 minutes, and considered trying to find another table....with the speed of play I was pretty sure I had played my 16+ hands but not only hadn't won a hand but had lost chips.....and the next hand one of the few times there was no pre-flop all ins and I flopped a straight.....I discovered one player rivered a higher straight but since I had more in the pot then he did....we basically split the pot and I escaped the table with my to quests complete and most of my dignity intact.....I really don't enjoy that kind of play..but I am learning to adapt to it.....

  Wild hand, playing at 2000/1000 blind table flop is 3 aces....checks all the way around and apparently on the turn two players ended up with off pairs....then it was call, raise, re-raise.....while the pot ended up at about 240K ( I was two excited to look)....what a hand, bye the bye...the 4th ace was one of my hole cards.....nice topper for what has been a ho hum day so far at the tables......

  Weird morning, the usual routine for me on the online poker game, collect free chips that dropped over night, play at least 16 hands, and win at least 10k to complete two quests......easy......not always......I was pretty sure I had my 16 hands played but needed a few more wins.....then all hell broke out when 2 of the  players got into a "who can out raise the other on nothing hands"......switched tables, won enough faux money......would have stayed for awhile but one of the players started "how much can I bet before the flop on any two cards.......oy vey
  On another note I played Crescent Solitaire last night right before I turned in for the night and it's gone.....disappeared into computer game limbo...... 

  It took me awhile a very short while to tumble to the fact that the "house" takes a cut of your winnings at the tables, I don't quite get the logic of that, after all it's faux money.....maybe it's keeping tract of deductions for the Faux IRS......no cut is taken on "free chips" but a cut is taken from any roulette wins......like I said don't get the point of it.....but it ain't real money and is what it is...just part of the game.......

  Played for close to an hour and didn't win a hand for the first 20 minutes....did walk away when the big stack on the table turned Kamikaze......but I do need to apologize to A/K..won a decent hand with it.....of course the fact that the flop had two more aces in it helped.....didn't make a ton but left with my buy-in plus a bit....... 

  Ended up the day 457K to the good, but could have gone the other way quite easily......within the first couple of hands made a very stupid mistake and lost a little over 1/2 of my 25K buy-in....settled down and when I left the table after about an hour had got my buy-in back and about 90K on top of that.....later at a 125K buy-in added another 90K.....and there were other tables throw in that I made some modest gains, + free chip drops and roulette......457K to the good....and really didn't get any of the big wins on roulette in my 2 tries
  

  Interesting day so far at the tables.....only had the possibility of one roulette spin, all ready had a chip, but I must have had an "old-timers" moment and push get on a quest that had another chip and lost it.....Note to self....you can't stockpile roulette chips dummy.....oy vey....
  Was playing at a lower table, with the intent of completing a quest to get another roulette chip, and encountered not only Poker Kamikazes but several Dive Bombers as well (see below).....now I've got pretty good at spotting the Kamikazes even before they bet.....but this one.....his handle was "Attak" .......good grief......
  Another type, haven't got a nick for them yet but......bets the table regardless of whether it matching any card he has in the hole......
  One odd note, in 4 hands, 3 times a player ( me twice) had a pair of pocket 6's........???
  If you read the posts below I had a problem with the audio on the poker site after I had run a Chrome OS update.....now on the solitaire games I play I always mute the sound, and I discovered, by sheer accident that on two of them the audio was gone as well......but the other 2 games I play audio is okay......It may be a coincidence that all 3 of the games with the audio problem are games I found on Facebook "Instant Games".....Hmmmmmm!

  After a lot of fiddling I discovered that apparently something did happen after the new Chrome OS update was installed .....I can have a direct link bookmark, but no audio......if I access it from the link on Facebook "your games"......audio......I guess you would say I didn't solve the problem.....just by past it....

  I've gotten "rivered" so many times today I'm surprised I'm not soaking wet......on the bright side hit the roulette wheel for a bundle......sound still off (see below)....I'm starting to think that something must of gotten discombobulated ( dang I spelled that right ) when I ran the Chrome  OS update yesterday......but the audio is working every where else.....but have gotten use to not having the audio prompts at the table......

   Wild day at the tables...up and down butt ended up bout 300K to the good......in the process also had a straight/flush.....but something odd occurred......I noticed in my shelf the icon that tells me to update my software, I run Chrome OS.....takes about a minute.....but when I went back to play more poker the sound was gone, now I don't mind the loss of the canned music in the lobby, but the the absence of the audio hints and sounds at the table is annoying.....weird thing is the audio is okay on all the other sites I use......( the mad  one an be seen scathing his head) 

 Sometime during my morning routine working on completing the "quests" for the day I played my 10k hand of poker in the game.....still have one more quest to go, but not that big of a deal
  Have added a link to a Free Cell solitaire game I found on Facebook......when I went on line going on 22 years ago Free Cell was one of the first couple of games I played, but haven't played it for years....... 

Funny day at the tables, made a decent amount in play.....and fulfilled all the "quests" save one......the slots......which I never play.....gained another rating point..now a 19......I've only been playing for 4 months and it was offline for a few weeks awhile back...I also noticed that the number of players is increasing ...many were lost when the game was offline....as well the number of players at table seem to be on the raise, full tables fits my style of play.....

  Just took a break today from poker, well almost, played for 14 minutes this morning first thing, complete the 3 "quests" I needed to get the game free drops on "super-time", and checked back to collect the free chip drops.....the other two "quests" I really didn't need so decided to take a break.....but tomorrow it's back to the tables in earnest......

  A crazy day so far at the tables......was playing at a lower table ( low blinds..25K max by in )...and the way the other players were playing....how they were betting, and on what, there were many "pigeons to pluck".......regrettably I couldn't catch the hands to pluck them......moved up to a table with higher blinds..125K max by in......and as the players changed...3 of us.....a 10 rate..a 14 rate.....and me (18)......so thought well maybe the play will improve......and maybe I'll catch a few  hands.....well I started catching a few hands...but the play......oy vey.......it was like "taking candy from a baby"...I've changed metaphors because one of the players avatar was a baby......now I'm not saying that there aren't any good players out there....and I don't expect everyone to play my style....but you can't always tell a players skill by their rate number 

  Just a very frustrating day at the tables, except for one short run....oy vey.....did complete the usual tasks I do daily, I'm fully aware that they call them "Quests" but let's face it we're not looking for the "Holy Grail" here, but today I must say I'm truly glad I wasn't playing with real money....

  Another mixed day at the tables except for the last 15 minutes I played had been basically even until that point, and then with 4 others at the table actually busted all on the same hand, of course with auto-rebuy 3 of the 4 where right back in the game....and I made some more chips....nice way to end the day......
  I've come to a conclusion that many of the peeps playing do not have a basic understanding of what a good hand actually is....maybe because the money ain't real.....but they bet and call on a hand that even a miracle card on the river couldn't save....a hint if you out of the hand......look at the hole cards of the losers (when the hands are revealed at the showdown)....and see what they were betting on.....many times, no pair, no connectors, different suits......
  Maybe because I was playing penny ante in college 50+ years ago......and progressed from there....played mostly draw, and stud (both 5 and 7 card).....although not quite the same 7 card stud and hold 'um have much in common......but it was real money.....if you know they are betting any cards....pick your spots....fold if you don't have a hand......and ignore the blurb "afraid to gamble"......and when you do win big.....you can laugh at "you're so lucky".....

  Cleared "Crescent Solitaire" again with  1 reshuffle unused.....

  Mixed day at the tables, basically may be down a tad but no worries........however a new wrinkle.....when I first started playing this site.....no ads.....in today's world of on line gaming and no pay real money for chips ( aka faux money )......the trollie will not do that until I can turn in my game chips for real money.....and wondered how they paid for the site......until my spam mail grew by a factor of 10x.....now today we can now buy chips.....that's okay with me...I like the game too much.....but I ain't buying.......

  As per usual I played a few hands first thing this morning, usually between 20 minutes and 1/2 hour.....I'm retired so for the most part my time is my own.......had the best run of cards I've had in.......well quite frankly.....can't remember the last time I've had a run like that....won the first 5 hands after I "sat" down at the table......would have played longer.....but today there are errands to be run......but dang what a run

  I'm retired, so it's my routine to log in first thing in the morning to do a little "housekeeping"......emails, blogs, et al......which includes the poker site I play on.....if I complete certain tasks.....a minimum # of hands played, minimum chips won, It gives me some advantages, not in the hands played but in the frequency of free chip drops and size of the drops....so anyways usually play at a table with the lowest buy in and blinds......usually 3-5 players and in 15 minutes can complete the tasks......but that table was full (10 players per table), whether from the weekend or increased play, but ended up finding an open table a middle price table....varied a little but 5 or 6 players......took a tad longer, but thanks to a "poker kamikaze"....got my cash requirement on one hand......a bit of advice.....don't go all in before the flop on any two cards when the Trollie has high pocket pairs.....
  I don't know whether it's the fact that it's not real money, or the fact that a lot of players just don't understand the "math" involved.......the probabilities of the card they need to "fall".....but they "chase" after it and only rarely find it......
  Despite the fact that you only see an avatar, and not cross table chat......there are still "tells" that you can pickup if you are observant, how some one bets, when they bet, and size of the bet...for example......just a check or a call before the flop, no bet on the flop......but a bet on the river....says the Trollie......they caught their card.....but I can beat any hand that gave them....smooth call...we'll see you at the "river".....or the math says I'd have to catch a card to win.....fold.......Trollie rarely chases.....

  Just got done playing "Crescent Solitaire" (found it on FB games)....devilish game have rarely cleared it.....but today cleared it with one shuffle left..nearly had the "big one"
