"Folds(n/c):" 71%_9th "Level)n/c)"_(1st hand@:[04:39]:)_[[From the Tables]..decent night's sleep..typical start to the day..the usual first look-ins on my FB groups & off to play my morning session of poker.. grabbed the "money" & sat-down at a table with 3 chairs open..I thought..table of 3..1 sitting out..one hand heads up..lost a blinds pot..other guy sat-out..I left..only one open chair..at another table..sat-down..check-out who was there..other than the off-mentioned "A" & another I'd been at table with a couple of time..all "fresh faces"..over the session play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to a full table of six..but most hands were with 3 to 5 in most hands..there was some "clock burning" but not that often..play in general was friendly with occasional very aggressive behavior..mostly a little any-two-carding & continuation bets..some pot-pushing & early "the ersatz table captain" would occasionally go all-in after the river..thought he was "buying the pot" but never had a hand that I was willing to make the call..also later a player with a severe case of "pocket card syndrome" all-in pre-flop w/a pocket Ace..pair or paint..for a change I was catching some decent hands..unfortunately some proved to be not decent enough..lost probably a 1/2-doz of 2 pairs to a better 2-pair or a kicker..one hand..only two to the river.. five/Queen/King on the board..no board pair or draw..I had Queen/Five in the "hole"..yup "A" had King/ Five..[shrugs]..that's not to say I didn't make some nice hands that held up..an Aces full of Nines..2 "nut" flushes..3 straights..2 were Ace high & one of those was flopped..& a set of Kings..first pot at the 2nd table..but there were never any significant chips "in-play" on any of the hands I won..never lost a big pot either..played to the "button"..hour had past..folded rags..& departed with less chips than I had brung with me..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/1$ blinds>250$ buy-in>6 chairs>_75 mpld_103 hpld_43.7 secs/hd_11 pots_2 w/qhds_ 1/9.4 /hpld_"Bank:" 695,680$_"Up:" +2,904$("FCs:" +2.5$_"Tables(1):" 404$)_"Total Hands Played:" 7.760_"Folds(n/c):" 71%_9th "Level(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..a much more typical starting time to the day..light work-load on my FB groups & off to play some poker..grabbed the 2.5K$ "house money".. found a table where "A" & "TS" were..later "B" arrived..but as I sat down a known to me mega-pot-pusher was there as well..played varied from a 3 to a 6-handed game..(1st hand@:[04:25]:)..one look at the secs/hd (aka:pace of play) will tell you the prevailing style at the table..there were a few hands of fairly friendly poker..& except for one hand 10 of the pots I won were of the small/blind variety..but most of the hands there was some pre-flop nonsense..up to & including several all-ins late in the session..I swear that the big stack pot-pusher saw my hole cards..every time it seemed to me I had pocket cards I really wanted to play he would splash the pot pre-flop..well that's how I "saw" it..& occasionally was will to pay & either missed the flop entirely..got a small piece or a draw(which I never hit)..late in the session seemed like every other player was a pot-pusher..(only "B" was still there) seemed like every hand there was an all-in pre-flop..was on the button..hour had pasted..decided to extend..decided if I got a pocket pair Jacks or better I'd join in the melee..second time around in the "big" pocket Aces..before the river the whole board was all-in save for the high stack..no draws but a board pair of fives..dang..but my 3-pair held up ..got the bottom piece of the pot..but was over 600 chips..played around the table a couple more times & departed for the "lobby" with a bunch of chips I hadn't brung with me..ah..the mega-pot-pusher who was playing "big stack poker" & had over 2K chips at one juncture..it was to my great joy to see him in the latter part of the session bust-out not once but twice..in the latter part of the session there were pots in-excess of 4K chips..on a 2$/1$ blind table..another trip into the lower reaches of the abyss..but this time ..for a change..emerged it better shape than I had entered..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/1$ blinds>250$ buy-in>6 chairs>_66 mpld_84 hpld_47+ secs/hd_8 pots_3 w/qhds_1/10.5 /hpld_"Bank:" 692,776$_"Up:" +2.370("FCs:" +2.5$_"Tables(1):" -130$)_"Total Hands Played: 7.657_ "Folds(n/c): 71%_9th "Level(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..overslept..light work-load on my FB groups & logged on to play poker over an hour latter than/usual..usual routine..grab the "house money" checked the available "Duck Ponds"..spotted one with the oft-mentioned "A" playing (he left before the "circus" arrived) & sat-down(1st hand@:[05:53]:)..throughout the session the play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to a six-handed game..but 3 or 4 handed games were the most common.."pace of play" was one of the faster I've encountered on "Replay"..now a quick pace of play doesn't bother me atall normal-ly..I really dislike "slow play"..but in this case..for the first few hands the table was a friendly one with very little pre-flop nonsense save for the occasional min-raise & except for a infrequent continuation bet..al-most no aggression..then a mega-pot-pusher arrived & pre-flop bets in-excess of 100 chips became common place..& rarely did he get a call..eventually he got the "message" & left..but he had "driven off" all but two of us..a couple of "heads up" or then briefly a 3-handed friendly game..but with the new arrivals the game flipped..no true kamikaze..but mega-pot-pushers..any-two-carders..& 3 straight pre-flop all-ins from a player whom had lost a big pot & went on "full tilt"...so we descended into one of the lower reaches of the abyss..throughout I was actually getting a decent amount of good looks in the pocket & was willing to pay to see the flop but by-enlarge although I did catch a piece of the flop..had a bunch of 4-TOs..only hit twice..I had King/Two suited..flopped the 2-pair & rivered Kings full of Two..King/Nine suited & rivered the King high Flush..made one other quality hand..a runner-runner Ten high straight..all were 1/2 decent or decent pots..the other 5 were with four pairs & a 2-pair..early or when "heads up"..all of the small/blinds variety..just not enough pots..got to the "button"..hour had pasted & dragged my tuckus to the "lobby" leaving behind some chips I had brung with me..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/1$ blinds>250$ buy-in>6 chairs>_62 mpld_65 hpld_57.2 secs/hd_11 pots_5 w/qhds_1/5.9 /hpld_"Bank:" 690,406$_"Up" +2,500${"FCs:" +2.5K$_"Tables(1):" 0$)_"Total Hands Played:" 7.573_ "Folds(n/c):" 71%_9th "Level(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..pretty typical start to the day..a rainy one here in the Northcountry of NYS..light work-load on my groups & then off to play my morning session pf poker..as/always grabbed the awaiting "house money" & went looking for a "Duck Pond" to take a "drip" in..sat-down at a table with my coming a table of four with two players "sitting out" won to blinds pot's "heads up"..with in a couple of hands it was a five or six-handed game..with a bunch of pot-pushing..pot splashing players & most hands ended with at least one player all-in..was seriously considering looking for another table but after a dozen hands or so the "circus left town" & the table settled down..now play varied from a four to six-handed game & a friendly tables howbeit with varying degrees of aggressive play up to & including all-ins..(about 1/2 way thru the session the oft-mentioned "A" arrived & then "O"..haven't mentioned him before whom I've been at table with a few times & they play styles similar to my small ball..slow play..trapping style)..most hands you could see the flop for a check/call of the "big" or min or smallish bump..some continuation betting..the rare on this table bout of "My pairs bigger than Your's is" & one "3 man over the top "Battle Royale" which culminated with a pot nearly 1K$..watched from the "cheap seats"..did get a fair amount of decent pocket looks..had maybe 6 or 7 4-TOs..only hit two..one was a split pot..& the other..folded when "A" raised..good read..I had low-end..he had high-end..only decent pot I won all session..had Ace/Eight suited..call a small bump..hit an Eight on the flop..a small bump..called..another Eight on the turn..again a little bigger bump..called..the river was an Ace..3 handed..a 25$ bump & a call before me..I re-raised..a fold("A") & a call & a nice pot..three small/blind pots after that but a couple of long cold stretches..all with sets..one rivered..hour had pasted..got to the button..called the "big"..got a small piece of the flop..a min-raise..looked at my stack..had just what I hand brung with me..decided so call it a draw..folded..texted "cu" to "O" & "A" & headed for the "lobby"..another day at the "office"..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/1$ blinds>250$ buy-in>6 chairs>_69 mpld_62 hpld_66.8 secs/hd_7 pots_1 /qhd_1/8.9 /hpld.."Bank:" 687,906$_"Up:" +2,524$("FCs:" +2.5K$_"Tables:" +24$)_"Total Hands Played:" 7,508_ "Folds(n/c):" 71%_9th "Level(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..a more typical start of the day for me..a medium work-load on my FB groups & off to play some poker..picked up the awaiting 2.5K$ on my way to find a "Duck Pond" to wade into..three tables available..spotted the oft-mentioned "A" & the "duck" at one so took the last available chair..play varied but the vast majority of the hands were five or six handed..soon after I sat-down(1st hand@:[04:34])..a mega-pot-pusher arrived & for the rest of the session wild..loose play reigned..vary few pots with out a pre-flop raise & thereafter most hands there was at least a min- raise after the flop/turn/river..sometimes significant..& multiple bouts of "My pairs bigger than Your's is"..a few were won by a pair..and a couple with high card..oy vey..anyways my session could be divided in to two parts..the first 51 minutes & the last 18..part:1..basically I was sitting on an iceberg again..wasn't that I wasn't getting some decent looks in the pocket..or hitting some flops..but usually middle or low pair..flopped a few 4-TOs..was willing to pay the bump to see the turn &/or river..just wasn't catching..had managed to win three pots..twice w/2-pair & the other with a pair..all three smallish pots..did make one quality hand..flopped a Ten high straight..yup..beat by a runner-runner better straight..was down approximately 130 chips..part:2..won another smallish pot with 2-pair..a couple of hands later..pocket Kings..after the flop..just three unrelated low cards..mega-man pushes..I call.. "heads up"..turn does change the board..push..call..river no draw..no over card..another push..called..& now I'm down a bout 40 chips..a couple of hands later..Six/Four suited..flopped the 2-pair..& I'm a couple of chips to the good..on the button..58 minutes played..decided to play 'round once more..in the "Small" ..Ace/Queen of Diamonds..paid a bump..flopped the Seven&Four of Diamonds..turned the King of Diamonds..another bump..turn changed nothing..a raise & I re-raised..just calls..got to the "button".. decided to extend..didn't catch a thing..got back to the "button" "A" was still at table..texted a "cu" & left for the "lobby"...now that was a wild session..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/1$ blinds>250$ buy-in>6 chairs>_80 mpld_72 hpld_66&2/3rds secs/hand_8 pots_3 w/qhds_1/8 /hpld_"Bank:" 685,382$_"Up:" +2,397_"Tables(1):" -103$)_"Total Hands Played" 7,446 _"Folds(n/c): 71%_9th "Level(n/c}"..../....[[From the Tables]..I mentioned yesterday my dad's fav quote about bad day's..well Wilbur..I'm having another one so/far today..overslept..awoke stiff..sore..with a dense fog between my ears & grumpy..well..i usually awake grumpy..took me forever to get my tuckus in-gear..had a problem on the FB group where I'm an admin & was 05:24 before I played my first hand..had grabbed the awaiting chips & went looking for a open "Duck Pond"..no open seats..scanned the full tables..joined the waiting list on one of them..(the oft-mentioned "A" was on that table..but kept an "eye" on the others in-case a seat opened..which it did..so removed myself from the list & sat down there.. played ranged from a couple of hands "heads up" but by-enlarge it was a four to six handed game & for the greater part of the session a fairly friendly table style-wise..most hands you could see the flopped for a check/call of the "big" or a min to smallish bump..some continuation betting..a little pot pushing..& one brief visit by a mega-pot-pusher..who like to go all-in after the river..he got away with it for a short time..then got caught & didn't return..I mentioned the style was basically friendly..well Wilbur..for me the board was very unfriendly..it's not that I wasn't getting a fair number of decent pocket cards..I was..even flopped my fair share of 4-TOs..but except for a couple..just wasn't catching cards..didn't lose any big pots & save for one pot didn't win any pot that wasn't of the small/blinds variety..the hour hand past & decided to extend..took three more trips 'round the table..1st trip..in the "small"..Ace/Six suited..flop 2-Aces & a Nine..a small raise from first to act..a call..& 1 called..rest of the table folded..turn paired the Nine..a decent raise from the "first to act"..a re-raise..now play had been a tad loose..in retrospect probably should have "slow played it"..but decided to re-raise..& the other 2 players mucked..dang..play was excruciatingly slow..now I can understand a little "clock burning" when you have a good hand & face a big raise..I've been known to "burn a little clock" myself..just after I sat down another player whom I've been at table with way too many times..arrived..won't mention his nick..but this dude "burns clock" on virtually every-hand..he's in the big..pre-flop..not raises & he burns the clock & makes a check..good grief..{end rant}..had played 80 minutes..got to the "button" & dragged my weary tuckus to the "lobby"..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/!$ blinds>250$ buy-in(3x)>6 chairs{2x)>_70 minutes played_64 hands played_65.6 secs/ hd_4 pots_2 w/qhds_1/16 /hpld_"Bank:" 682,985$_"Up:" +2,246$_"Tables(2):" -254$)_"Total Hands Play-ed:" 7,374_"Folds(n/c):" 71%_9th "Level(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..my dad was fond of saying "My mama told me I'd have days like this but not everyday"(usually punctuated by a gesture of frustration) ..awoke stiff & sore..the old joints complaining..took awhile to get going..light work-load on my groups & off for my morning session of poker..pocketed the awaiting 2.5K$ "Free Chips" & dove into a "Duck Pond" ..played(?) 2 hands..sharks in the waters(aka:pot-pushers) & left leaving 4 chips behind..next table..ap-peared to be more friendly waters..the "Duck" & "A" were there..been at table with those two many times ..but little did I known at the time the chair I was in was an iceberg..dang..was I cold..the play varied from few 3-handed games to a full table of six & most hands were either 5 or 6-handed..on any given handed you see the flop for just a check/call of the "big"..or a min-raise..or a big splash..the players came & went..but there were usually a pot-pusher or two & occasionally an any-two-carder..but the one thing that was consistent was the Old Trollie wasn't catching..I got a decent amount of good looks in the "hole" & flopped a few hands..but bottom or middle pair..made a couple of 2-pair..with a 4-TO on the board..did win the only decent pot of the session when I had an Ace/five suited & flopped the nut flush..other three pots were of the small blind variety with 2-pair(2x) & turn a set of Kings(2 in-the-hole)..about mid-way thru the session..pocket Seven/Four unsuited..button raised 5$..decided to fold..flop was 2-Sevens & a Four..[shrugs}...decided to extend..was going to leave from the button..pocket Sevens..a min-raise & a min-re-raise..call..call..flopped the set..2 Spades in the flop..a player went all in..pocket Jacks..1 a Spade ..with the day I was having it should be obvious what suit the turn & river were..[shrugs]..me thinks I'd have been better off rolling back over in bed & taking the day off..but tomorrow is another day..another session..& hopefully dad wasn't right..truth be told my first reaction to the beat was to have a good laugh..after all is said & done..it ain't the "rent money"..../....

"Folds(n/c):" 71%_9th "Levels(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..pretty normal start-time..light work-load on my FB groups..logged-on to play my morning session of poker..grabbed the "house money" & went looking for a "Duck Pond" to swim in..[1st hands played@:[04:29}:]..it didn't take more than a couple of hands to realize that it was only masquerading as a "Duck Pond" but in actuality was one of the lowest levels of "The Abyss"..one look at "pace of play" will tell you I had joined a gathering of "Mega-Pot_-Pushers "R" Us"..now if I had 1/2 a brain..I would have run & found a table better suited to my small ball..slow play..trapping style.. but decided to play tight & maybe catch the right hand at the right time.. well Wilbur..never caught a decent hand..in one transition of the table myself "heads up" with the chairman of the group..got some decent looks..paid to play,,but couldn't catch a hand..eventually new blood arrived..more pot-pushers..down to around 50 chips..pair of Jacks in the whole called bet which put me all-in..yup..the chairman had a pocket Ace & an Ace was in the flop..re-buy..& the script flipped..won 5 pots..small to 1/2-way decent with 2-sets..2-straights & a Queen high flush..but as luck would have it just no significant chips in play..[shrugs}..hour had past..got to the "button" & took my leave..left more chips on the table than I would have liked..[shrugs]..but you can't have a good day every day..../....

<:{stats}:><2$/1$ blinds>250$ blinds>6 chairs>_64 mpld_61 hpld_63 secs/hd_13 pots_4 w/qhds_1/4.7 /hpld_"Bank:" 675,928$_"Up:" +2,654$_"Tables:" +154$)_"Total Hands Played:" 7,150_"Folds(n/c)" 71% _9th "Level(n/c)"..../....[[From the Tables]..pretty typical start to the day..light work-load on my FB groups(mod/admin)..the usual routine..log-on..grab the "house money" find an available "Duck Pond"..a couple to chose from..picked one with only one seat open..(1st hand@:[04:24]:)...for the first few hands play was 5 or 6 handed..but for the vast majority of the session it was a 3 or 4 handed game with a few hands "heads up" & at the end of the session the last dozen or so hands were 6 handed..style of play varied wildly..from a friendly game with virtually no aggressive play..a min-raise here-"n"-there..to pre-flop all-ins & extreme loose play at times..but the real problem with the table this morning was there were always at least 2 "clock burners" at the table & for the last dozen hands there were three..what's slower than watching paint dry..calling it snail's pace would be a insult to the snail..was on the"button"..about 4 minutes til my traditional hour played..played the next 6 hands..& left from the "button"..8 minutes later..oy vey..made some decent hands but only two of note..at the time we had a pot splasher at the table..he had a habit of going all-in after the turn & I suspected him of trying to buy pots..had a Jack in the "hole"..flopped a pair..just a bunch of un-related other cards in the flop..a small bet..I called..three to the turn..did change the board..my Jacks were still high pair..he went all-in..had me covered..decided he was trying to "buy the pot" called..he had low cards..no pair..no draw..well he did make a pair of Nines on the river..& I made a very nice pot..I've have been known to grouse about getting beat with a turn or river card or runner runner..Ace/Queen..unsuited..turned the Ace & rivered the Queen..won the pot over a turned pair of Aces..okay..but it changes nothing..I'll still grouse about the turn & river..as/above..finally got to the "button" & left for the "lobby"..most of my gains on that hand with a pair of Jakes..../....
