Pokerist:..another day..another round of poker..as/always grabbed the awaiting "DB" for 12K$ & off to check the "DQs"..[1] "Win 1.1'MC nit"..[shrugs]..[2] "Win w/2-pair or lower 4x" &[3] "Win w/full house or higher..to my relief I found a table right off & on the weekend..my preferred 2$/1$ blinds table with a fast play clock & five chairs..I make no bones about the fact that I play for the "Quest" & do what I can to limit my losses on the table..a couple of hands heads up & a few with a full table of five but the majority of the time it was a three or four handed game..if there wasn't a kamikaze or two present than there was a pot-pushing big stack there for the entire time I play..who liked to flash messages..he kinda got on the case with one of the other players..anyways..1 was playing with a 20$ buy-in so what every style was played I was all-in on every hand I decided to play..if I did win a pot I'd check the next pockets & decided to play or fold..cash-out & re-buy@20$..a couple of days ago I had the same set of "DQs" & made a full-house on the first hand..today took me to the second hand..Queen/Six suited..flopped a Queen/Six & turned another Six..low house but it held up..along the way made 3 more quality hands..a straight & 2 flushes ..was on the button & added another 2-pair to a 2-pair & 2 pairs pot wins & both [2]&[3] completed..five handed at the time..decided to play back to the button..won the next two pots with a pair & a 2-pair.. fold-ed rags in the "small" & on the "button"..decent pocket cards but..nah.."waved bye-bye" to the table & boogied on down to the "lobby" & was pleasantly surprised to see that on the strength of the 3 hand run at the end of the session had managed to leave the table with more chips than I had brung w/me..ergo....

Pokerist:..as/always logged on & picked of the.. awaiting "DB:"@5K$ & check the "DQs"..[1] "Play 15 hands"..[2] "Win w/flush or higher twice"..&[3] "Win with a high card"..great..my old bugaboo..dang..win w/high card..anyways..2$/1$ blinds table with a fast play clock & five chairs..because kamikaze were afoot for most of the session & when there weren't either player would splash the pot pre-flop with a pocket Ace..pair..or paint or a pot-pushing ersatz table captain would "target" a lower stack..very few hands with out some nonsense..after I has played 15 hands & completed [1]..I made a full-house which was beaten by Quads..well at least another "Epic Fail" & on the very next hand made another full-house which "held up" & much later finally won another pot with a flush & [2] completed..at this point although I was winning my share of the pots..and was up around 400 chips..then hit a cold patch and although still ahead my stack was dwindling..the table was in chaos..one hand would be a full table of five & two hands later you'd be "heads up"..there were so many comings & goings it was hard to keep track..at this point I was over 90 minutes into the session & still no high card win..another "heads up"  with a high stack..only 40$ in the pot & me all-in..didn't hit a thing..had a Ten high in the Pocket..he didn't hit anything thing either & had a Nine high in the pocket..silly..but [3] completed..next hand..on the "button".."waving bye-bye" to the table..stumbled to the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..as/usual picked up the "DB:"@3K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 1.1'K$ nit"..(just not my style)..[2] "Win w/2-pair or low 4x" &[3] "Win w/straight 2x"..after multiple tries settled for a 2$/1$ blind table with  a "normal" play clock..(dang) & five chairs..anything from 'heads up" to a five handed game ..kamikazes afoot..occasional friendly hands at times very aggressive & several rooks so I guess the fact that most were "clock burners" can be excused..reluctantly..for the majority of the session was only catching sporadically..was making some nice hands..had completed [2] within the first 10 minutes or so & along the way made 13 quality hands..made a set 8 different times but a win with a straight..nope..& as down a couple of 100 chops..but late in the session the "tide turned"..I started catching..at the time ex-cept for the "Ye Olde MadTrollie"..all the other players had played less than 400 hands..caught some nice looks back-to-back & won consecutive pots on more than one occasion..so my losses were reversed & when I left I had more chips than I had brought with me..ah..the straights..lost count on how many times I flopped four to the straight & the 5th card didn't arrive..then..Nine/Eight unsuited & flopped the Ten high straight..in the "small"..King/Queen suited..flopped the Ace high straight & one of my better pots of the session..next hand..on the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table boogied on down to the "lobby"..along the way during play picked up another "Epic Fail".."Stylist III" & the 21st "Level"..ergo....

Pokerist: picked up the awaiting "QB:"@2K$(first day in the cycle) & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win four hands"..[2] "Win w/pair twice" &[3] "Win w/full house"..not quite as busy this morning as /lately & found a 2$/1$$ blinds fast play clock table with five chairs..play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to a full table of five..when there weren't kamikazes afoot..the game was friendly howbeit most times very aggressive..the typical splash for a pocket Ace..pair or paint & for a while a very aggressive big stack playing at "table captain"..for the majority of the session I was win a pot here & there but by-enlarge was getting tuckus handed to me..had completed both [1]&[2] but was having no luck with making the full-house..did make one that was beaten by a better house but at least that counted for another "Epic Fail" ..but for the vast majority of the session was I was down in-excess of 300 chips..until the last three turns round the table..had hit a hot streak & was nearly even when I made a very nice pot & the "qualifying" full-boat..played to the & was going to leave..but..a an Ace/Queen suited convinced me to remain..won the pot with a pair & on the way back to the "button" another pot with a-pair..got to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table $ my my exit to the "lobby" with the three "Quests" in-tow & just a couple more chips than I had brung with me..ergo....

Pokerist:..as/always logged on & collected the awaiting "DB:"@15K$(last day in the cycle) & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Play 10 hands"..[2] "Win w/2-pair or higher thrice" &[3] "Win w/three-of-a-kind twice"..took several tries but finally found a 2$/1$ binds table w/a fast player clock & five chairs..with a kamikaze afoot..play varied from three to five handed with just a couple of "heads up" hands..the majority of the session was a trip to Kamikazeville..with a brief interlude of a friendly semi-aggressive hands..picked up [2] all three "qualifying hands" were won with 2-pair just after completing [1]..well Wilbur..the [3] was a problem..did make a flush & a straight for wins..but the set..made trips 5 different times & if I didn't get beat by a flush..straight or house..then a better set or a kicker..finally won a hand with a set of Tens & a while later there the was a set of Jackets on the board..I had a pocket King..pretty much had conceded the hand & to my astonishment the King held up as high card..folded the next three hands..last on the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table & ran post-haste for the "lobby" with all three "Quests: in-hand & a few more chips than I had brung with me..ergo....

Pokerist:..has been a crazy last 24 hours..lost power for about 90 minutes just after 13:00 yesterday..no soon got it back but then lost WiFi which wasn't restored until after 10:00 this morning..as/always picked up the awaiting "DB" for 10K$ & checked the "DQs" [1] "win 1.1'MS nit"..[flip]..[2] "Win w/pair twice" &[3] "Win w/straight twice..found a chair at my preferred 2$/1$ blinds table with a fast play clock & five chairs & since kamikazes were afoot..all  buy-ins were @20$..really didn't have a great day catching hand..I was worried about both the 2 "Quests"..play for most hands was a full table of five & virtually all hands were an all-in situation..but to my surprise..very quickly had made 2 straights(howbeit one was a split-pot) & completed [2] & during the session made 5 more "quality hands"..twice won pots with sets..another win on a straight & twice with flushes..but the win with a pair evaded me..along the way lost a full-house to a better house & picked up another "Epic Fail"..won a pot with a pair and later a second with a pair [3] completed & on the way to the "button" won a pot with the two pair..got to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table with both "Quests" in hand but had left some chips on the table..ergo...

Pokerist:..another day..another log-in..another "DB" today 5K$..checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 2-in-a-row"..[2] "Win w/2-pair twice" &[3] "Win w/flush or higher twice..found a chair at my preferred 2$/1$ blinds fast play clock table w/five chairs..play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to a full table of five..for the first half of the session it was a trip to Kamikazeville..with in the first dozen hands or so had won pots with 2-pair twice..[2] completed..a little later on back to back hand won pots with a set of Fours & a split-pot 2-pair [1] completed..thereafter..I employed my usual tactic..20$ buy-ins..would call the expected all-in unless I had rags in the pocket..if I won a pot..decide whether or not to call on the next..decent pockets call..rags..fold..cash-out..re-buy@20$ & it worked until we left Kamikazeville & found ourselves in a friendly howbeit at times a very aggressive game..a little any-two-carding..pot pushing & lest I forget the splash of the pot pre-flop when a player(s) had a pocket Ace..pair or paint..hit a cold patch..either I missed the flop or if I did make a hand got beat by a better hand..usually rivered..the hour mark had past..I'd made 6 quality hands but no "qualifying hands" and my stack had dwindled to about what I had brung with me..within two trips round a table of five made a set of Fours..a couple of hands later..a runner-runner flush & 2 hands later..Queen/Nine suited..flopped a pair of Ladies & a Five..turn was a Seven..so I'm sitting there waiting for the river & "chanting" Five..Seven..Nine..& for once the river listened..a Five & [3] completed..folded rags next hand in the "small" & then folded decent pockets on the "button" &"waving bye-bye" to the board..skedaddled to the "lobby" with the completed three "Quests" & a few more chips than I had brung with me..ergo....

Pokerist:..One of the more interesting sessions I've had in quite awhile..as/always picked up the  awaiting "DB:"@3K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win four times"..[2] "Win w/pair twice" &[3] "Win w/full house".. found a 2$/$ blinds table with a fast play clock & five chairs..[my preferred table]..play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to a full table of five & styles varied as well..except for a brief interlude towards the later half of the session..it was a visit to Kamikazeville & I employed my /usual tactic..call the all-in(20$ buy-in) unless I have "rags-in-the hole"..if I win a pot..check the pocket cards..decent call..rags ..fold..cash-out..20$ re-buy..& today it work out very well..then a friendly board..didn't take long to get a "read" on one of the players..he'd fold..fold..all-in..fold..fold..(repeat)..he only played pocket pairs or paint ..??..[shrugs]..I prefer to "slow play" decent pockets..can't count the times I've had pocket Aces "crack-ed"..only "made" quality hands twice..first pot I won..board set of Ladies..won the pot with a pocket Ace kicker & the qualifying full-house..a board full-house.."'tis what it 'tis" had completed the other two "Quests" earlier in the session..played to the "button" picked up another pot with a pair on the way.. Pokerist:..another day of poker(?)..picked up the awaiting "DB:"@2K$(1st day of the cycle) & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 1.1'M$..nit"(ignore)..[2] "Win w/high card" &[3] "Win w/straight twice"..2$/1$ blinds fast clock table with five chairs..varying buy-ins..a couple of hands "heads up" but most hands were played with three to five players..most at four handed..no true kamikazes but that's not to say that there weren't several pre-flop all-ins or big splashes of the pot..in general a friendly table..some hands you could see the flop with a check/call of the blinds or a call of a small raise & there were some small/blinds pots won..on other hands there was pre-flop nonsense when a player had a pocket singleton Ace..pair ..connectors..paint or had just lost his stack on the last hand & came back on "full tilt"..I tried to both completed the two "Quests" I wanted & at the same time play my preferred "small ball.slow..trapping game..took my chair in a three handed game..3rd hand..pocket Ace..one player "sitting out".pocket Ace..took the pot & completed [2]..(huge sigh of relief)..was running hot for the first several minutes & had made a straight..& then the roof fell in..just wasn't catching..won a few hands here & there..but no decent pot..made a straight that would have me leaving for the "lobby" but lost it to a rivered full house ..had a few hands were I flopped 4 to the straight..but not 5th card arrived..past the hour mark..pocket connectors..first to act..called.."..flopped an "open ender" Six to Nine"(Eight/Nine "in the hole"..raise put me all-in..made the call..turn a blank but rivered the Ten &[3] completed..fold from the big..another player "sat out"..found myself on the "button".."waving bye-bye" to the table..ran to the "lobby w/2 completed "Quests" & more chips than I had brung with me..ergo....

Pokerist:..picked up the awaiting "DB:"@12K$..checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 4x"..[2] "Win w/pair 2x"..&[3] "Win w/full house"..a wild typical weekend session..all the usual suspects made an appearance..expected..but way more "clock burners" than I would care to see..there again if I ever see a "clock burner: again..it will be too soon..oy vey..saw several "elites"..most of the "All-in/All the time" variety..2 different tables..both were 2$/1$ blinds w/five chairs..1st table..normal clock.."heads up" to a full table..a mix of friendly howbeit at times aggressive & Kamikazeville..due in large part to one of the aforementioned "elites"...actually held my "own" on this table..had completed [1]&[2]..before after a I found myself sitting with only the dealer..2nd..Murphy's Law(link) was in full effect..more often than not if I flopped or turned a good hand..the river got me..if there was a card that could beat me..a dude or dudette had it..I flopped or turned two 2-pair several times..with out ever seeing the card(s) that would have given me the "house"..made a set five different time..but no house..add to that the extra chips I had brung with me from the first table soon vanished & left a pile on the table when left..the 2 hour make past..decided enough was too much..played to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table &  crawled to the "lobby" [[note]: at this point I have no intention of another session in search of a house]..ergo....

Pokerist: I decided to take a stab at getting the "high card win" & the "DQ" that evaded me this morning.. only short table was a three handed game on a 2$/1$ table..normal play clock..nine chairs..which soon become a table of seven to nine..but  except for brief raids by kamikaze..was a friendly game howbeit very aggressive at times & for the longest time couldn't make a winning hand..was down nearly 200 chips ..but caught a couple of nice hands late and after 85 minutes & 68 hands played escaped to the "lobby" after "waving bye-bye" from the "button" with 27 chips more than I had brung with me..[results will be added to tomorrows stats]..../....

Pokerist:..logged on..collect awaiting"DB:"@10K$..check "DQs"..[1] "Win 770'K$ single hand "nit"..ya.. right..[2] "Win w/2-pair or lower 4x" &[3 "Win w/flush or higher 2x"\..find table..check..2$/1$ blinds fast play clock with five chairs..most hands were with three to five players..except towards the end of the session when there was a kamikaze afoot..play was extremely aggressive..a few hands here & there you could see the flop for a check/call of the blinds..or a small raise..but more often then not there was a pre-flop splash of the pot when a player had a pocket Ace..any pair..connectors or paint..and post flop there was one player who'd  pot push if he hit even a bottom pair..now there are day's that I've been able to take advantage of that style..but not today..I just flat wasn't catching..except for the occasional pot..so stayed out of the way as much as possible..had completed [2] relatively early in the session but [3]..(shakes his old grey head"..I had trouble making 2-pair..did make a straight & a set of Aces on the way..but no "qualifying" hands..a board set..with a Six & an Eight..Six on the river..I had a pocket Six.. another player went all-in..felt I had no choice..a split-pot house..a couple of hands later..pocket Ten/ Eight of Clubs..one Club in the flop..called a min-raise...another on the turn..another min-raise called.. yup..runner-runner flush..[3] completed..two  hands later..on the "button".."waved bye-bye to the table.. and ran for the "lobby" leaving a few chips I had brung on the table..[[note]:most of the below stats reflect just the morning session save for the "Bank" stats which reflect both session]..ergo....

Pokerist:..pickup awaiting "DB:"@7K$..check the "DQs" [1] "Bet 1.6'M$ nit"..actually did bet a total of 4K$..[2] "Win w/high card" &[3] "Win w/3-of-a-kind or higher 6x"..2$/1$ blinds..mostly 20$ buy-in..fast play clock..five chairs..very thing from "heads up"(never caught the right hand to completed[2]) to a full table of five..every possible style from a friendly game with small/blinds pots to a wild "Over the top all-in Battle Royales" with one pot in excess of 2K$..I had in a moment of insanity decided to play a 2 hour session..in which I found new ways to lose good hands..made a bunch of good 2-pairs or higher & more often then not got beat by a better hand & if the turn didn't get me..the river did..did managed to com-plete [3]..actually made eleven "quality hands"..& one was wacky..it was on a rare occasion for me where I had the rest of the players in the pot "covered"..won the top of the pot with a full-house & lost the bottom of the pot to a better house..ergo..I won a pot & picked up an "Epic Fail" on the same hand..(checked stats)..(shakes his old grey head)..got to the "button" "weakly waving bye-bye" to the table and dragged my weary tuckus to the "lobby" with empty pockets..ergo....
