Replay Poker: logged on to play some Poker..grabbed the 2.5K$ "house money" & dove into a "Duck Pond" as/always (2$/1$ blinds/250$ buy-in/6 chairs..basically a friendly game & except for briefly very little aggressive play..two new arrivals got into a pot-pushing "brawl"..one was down to less than 100 chips..& went all-in for the next few hands..finally busted out.& the friendly play returned..hadn't been catching..won a few small/blind pots..a two halfway decent ones with a high 2-pair & a flush..had just flopped a set of Fives (pair in the pocket) game froze..oh at least that's what I thought..nope..finally tumbled to the fact that I may have lost my wifi connection..it showed that I hadn't but decided to check.. yup..no wifi..shutdown..turned on the TV..yup..no signal..??..oy vey..flipped thru a book of Larson cartoons I have..tried the TV a couple of times..finally got a signal..checked the wifi..got back on..decided there was no point in trying to continue play..<:{stats}:>..28 hands played..6 pots(1 quality hand)..1 for every 4.67 hpld (majority of the hands three or four players}.."Bank:" 469,444$.."Up:" +2,465$("FCs:" 2.5K$.."Tables(1): -35$)..'Total Hands Played" 1,232..5th "Level(n/c)"..../....

[[From the Tables]..the /usual routine..grab the "house money" & take a plunge in a "Duck Pond"..most of the time it there were four to six players on the table..but because of a lot of pre-flop folds there were a bunch of three handed & a few hands "heads up"..except for a few pre-flop outbursts most hands you could see the flop for a check/call of the "big"..or a call of a pre-flop 2$ bump courtesy of our resident "any-two-carder" & his 2$ continuation bets thereafter..the problem this session was I lost count on how many 4 to a straight or flush I flopped or turned..on one hand a flopped an open end straight draw..& a flush draw & turned 4 to a straight-flush..nope..truth be told..I did turn a King high straight & lost a pile of chips to a rivered house..[shrugs]..except for one pot I won with a high 2-pair..all the other pots were of the small/blinds variety & that one was only halfway decent..decided to extend a little..had already hit "sit out next hand"  from the "button" & found myself on an empty table..everyone else beat me to the "lobby" ..except for the one "bad beat"..played decent poker..just never caught the right hand at the right time....

[[From the Tables]:..as/always grab the "house money" & dive into a "Duck Pond"..play varied from a few hands with three players to a full table of six..but four or five handed was the most common..I guess I could term it as a friendly table..true..most hands you could see the flop for a check/call of the "big" or a min-raise..but after that..oy vey..aggressive play isn't a strong enough description..adversarial would be a better descriptor..we had a resident pot-pusher..within the first couple of hands I played lost two decent pots to rivered cards & had less than 100 chips in my stack..oy vey..it was definitely "big pot poker"..that's not to say there weren't some small/blind pots..but that wasn't the game being played most of the time ..had gotten back some but not all of my losses..the hour was approaching..had a pocket Ace..got to see the flop for a call of a 2$ bump..flopped a set of Bullets..a three handed game..didn't push the pot..just responded to raises..last card put 3 to a flush on the board..but was pot-committed..called & the set held up & was up a little..stayed out of the way..hour struck..had already hit "sit out next hand"..when I turned a King high straight..split the pot & ran for the "lobby"..just glad to have survived the mayhem..../....

[[From the Tables]:..the /usual routine..pocket the "house money(2.5K$)..look for a table..took awhile..but found another "Duck Pond" to "swim" in..for the greater part of the session a table of five or six players ..four were obviously "friends" & a chatty bunch they were & play was excruciatingly slow..oy vey..style thru out was friendly howbeit aggressive at times..a little any-two-carding..pot-pushing..pocket splashes of the pot..except for pace of play a decent table..if you're catching..well Wilbur..I'd played 21 minutes before I won my first two pots..back-to-back with a set of Tens & a Queen high straight..23 minutes later..a straight for pot #3..at the 49 minute mark of the session a straight "kicked off" an ersatz "hot streak" were I won 4 pots over the last 11 minutes with 3 straights (one was a split pot) & a pair of Bullets..oy vey..I was getting a fair share of decent looks in the pocket..& hit a few flops..but every time I'd make 2-pair..there seemed to be a better 2-pair or a straight or flush made..only took one semi-bad beat..actually except for that one beat played decent poker..but of course that's easy when most of the session you're hitting the check or fold button..just not a good day for a "swim"..../....

[[From the Tables]:..as/usual logged-on..grabbed the "FCs"(aka:"house money") & went looking for a table..two of my preferred 2$/1$ tables w/six chairs available..picked one & sat-down..across the session played varied from a couple of hands "heads up" thru a full table of six but most hands were with four players..when I first sat down thru the first half of the session although pre-flop all-ins were rare..larger that a min-pre-flop raises weren't & they were usual followed by some pot-pushing..I just stayed out of the way & only played when I could see the flop for a check/call of the "big" or small raise if I had decent hole cards..there was one three-handed bout of "My pair's bigger than both of Yours' are" which was won with a high card..[shakes his old grey head]..I wasn't catching but when I did I make some nice hands ..won pots w/trips 3x..straights 2x & full-boats 3x..unfortunately all but one pot were of the small/blinds variety & the other just halfway decent..never caught a hand when there were really any significant chips in the pot..did lose a halfway decent pot to a better 2-pair..the hour stuck whilst I was one the "button" & retired to the "lobby:..not a great session but not a bad one either..just another session..../....

[[From the Table]:..picked up the awaiting "FCs" for 2.5K$ & went looking for a table..finally found a seat at a 4$/2$ blinds table w/250$ buy-in & nine chairs..only was there for two hands..kamikaze afoot..ran for the lobby..finally found a seat on the above mentioned 2$/1$ table..play varied from me being left alone at the table to a full table of six..style was friendly with varying degrees of aggression..some any-two-carding..min-pre-flop raises & continuation min-raises..big splashes of the pot pre-flop up to & including all-in..a few pots featuring a bout of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..now in the past I have often done well on this kind of table..when I was catching & making quality hands & the tale of this table was I wasn't..average number of players on any given hands were four & 1 won 1 out of every 7.5 hands played & made just 1 quality hand..a flush..I was getting a decent amount of decent hole cards but just wasn't hitting flops..or if I did..had a few flops where I flopped 4 to a straight or flush & made 1 flush & that was a runner-runner..avoided any big losses or bad beats..but did chase the 4 to a straight or flush with no success & when I did win a pot they were all of the small/blinds variety..just not my day..peeps starting leaving..2 or 3 hands "heads up" & I was left alone..with the day I'd had..didn't check for an open table..just crawled to the "lobby"..../....

[[From the Tables]:..picked up the awaiting "FCs" for 2.5$..had trouble finding a table..ended up at a 4$/2$ blinds table w/400$ buy-in & six chairs & 2 dudes beating on each other..all-ins on every pre-flop..oy vey..stayed about four hands..folded every time & left..looked again & there were 2 open chairs on the above mentioned 2$/1$ blinds table..play varied from three to six handed..a friendly how be it aggressive table..we had a couple of players who would splash the pot pre-flop with a pocket singleton Ace..pair or paint & another who was an any-two-carder..min raises pre-flop & min-continuation bets..oy vey & over the first 40 minutes I just wasn't catching..I won a few small/blind pots but with the wear & tear of the blinds & see raises & not hitting was down about 50$..I've mentioned before about having to catch the right hand at the right time..made a set of Cowboys..a nice pot..got back to even stack-wise..a couple of hands later Ace/Four suited..flopped 4 to a "wheel" & turned the "wheel"..first to act goes all-in..I had him covered..looked at the board..no flush draw..made 2 pair or trips..but thought the odds were with me..he had the trips & I was high stack at the table..started to catch a little better at for most of then rest of the session play was three handed..hour had past whilst I was on the "button"..folded & left for the "lobby"..save for those two big wins would have been a bad day at the tables..but then that's poker.. someday's you eat the bear & some day's the bear eats you..../....

[[From the Tables]:..picked up the awaiting "FCs" for 2.5$ & off to find a table..took a little longer than .usual but finally found a chair..play varied from three to six handed..as with yesterday basically a friendly table howbeit more aggressive than yesterday..there were more pre-flop raises with a pocket Ace..pair or paint & there was one player who had lost a big pot & went on "full tilt" for a couple hands in-a-row & went all-in pre-flop or after the flop..problem was I flat wasn't catching & except for 2 of the hands I won all the pots were of the small/blinds variety..did win a couple of decent pots as well..now it wasn't that I didn't get some decent hole card or hit some flops..major problem..I lost count how many times I flopped four to a straight or flush but it had to be at least 8 or 9 times..& made one flush..unlike yesterday except for the two decent pots just didn't catch the right hand at the right time..[[note]: this game does have "Achievements"..much like others I've played..however..there is no attached "bonus"..ergo..I haven't given them any notice]..the hour had pasted..but played to the "button" & left for the "lobby"..not a good day..../....

[[From the Tables]:..the usual routine..pickup the awaiting "FCs" & look for a table..I prefer a table of 6 & the lowest blinds available..fits in best with my preferred "small ball..slow play..trapping" style..found a table quickly..all hands were played with four to six players..a friendly game..very few pre-flop raises & when there were only min or small..a little pot pushing..most pots were of the small blind variety..but occasionally..there were a few big pots played..early in the session I had a pocket King/Ten suited & flopped top 2-pair..another player pushed the pot & got 2 calls..one of them mine..next two cards..didn't change my mind that my 2-pair was the best hand..after the river one player was all-in & another nearly.. my 2-pair held up & I had over 600 chips in my stack..won two other decent sizes pots on the way & was high stack for the rest of the session..I continued to play my preferred style..but would "chase" a little if I could see the next card(s) for a call of a min-raise..have decided to play hour sessions most mornings. .hour struck when I was on the "button"..rags in the pocket..& left for the "lobby" with more chips than I had brung with me..caught some nice cards & played good poker..an enjoyable day..../....
