   What is becoming routine for the weekend, about 50 minutes of periodic attempts before I on got on  1000/500 blind table, never got even a whiff of a decent hand....12 hands....(16+ mission complete...yup I know but if the drop down gives it to me I take it).....mixed bag of pushes, all-inners....but one weird thing....there was one "chair" that was  occupied for the entire time I was there....a player "icon"....no name, no avatar, just the revolving little white circle, and a banana,....maybe a glitch in the game...?....down 4,500$....blinds and one call on suited connectors that totally missed the flop....oy vey....
   Fall Spades....one game a winner....a "bit of a bag-o-thon"....this time mostly me....just caught some tricks with cards I didn't think could be a trick....lead a 5 of Diamonds....the others, a 4, a 3, and and off suit....but we survived going in "the bag"....and made our bid on a hand where the total bid was 15....First Crescent....hand started like gangbusters....and fizzled into nothingness....

   Because of the late start on Poker, there was a 31 minute gap between drops there and on Blackjack 21....so took the drop on Blackjack 21 and decided to play for a while....first two hands won on dealer's busts....and things went down hill fast from the....he only busted once more....on a hand I had made a blackjack....now because I have over 100K....all the graphic shows is "???K" so I have to go to my stats to see if I'm up or down (click on your avatar)....did that when I was at about 9 minutes of play (I always write down the time I begin play)....10 minutes played....16 hands....5 winners....2 blackjacks....down 40$....and a very hot dealer....time to flee....
   The one thing about the setup of the game is that you have to take your total "bank" to the table....I wish that you could take just the amount you were prepared to lose, a "buy-in" as it were...being retired I can take full advantage of the drops and roulette....which my current "bank" reflects....but to the average player....?....at least on Poker with the buy in....you can go bust and still have chips left....on Blackjack 21 you go bust....you really go bust....and then want....?....

   2nd trip to the Blackjack 21 tables....a virtual carbon copy of the first trip....10 minutes played....16 hands....5 wins....1 blackjack....2 pushes....down 30$....but this one had a twist....was dealt 20 three time, 1 push, 1 loss to a blackjack, and 1 loss to a 3 card 21....good grief....what are the odds on that....

   3rd trip to the Blackjack 21 tables....first hand I'm dealt 20, dealer flips blackjack....10 minutes played....7 wins....1 blackjack....dealer busts 6 times....lost 15$....and truth been told I was making some decent hands....but didn't win a hand except for my blackjack if the dealer didn't bust....I don't expect to win a majority of the times I play....but wins are few and far between....ok and by the by....last hand dealt 20....dealer flips blackjack....oy vey....

   4th and probably final run to the Blackjack 21 tables for the day....10 minutes played....16 hands....8 wins....1 blackjack....1 push....6 dealer busts....up 35$....finally....was thinking of playing longer but the last 3 or 4 hands....dealer started catching cards....so decided to quit while I was ahead, not for the day mind you....but for this session....one thing to note....4 or 5 at the table most of the time....haven't had any trouble getting on a Blackjack 21 table this weekend....maybe they dealt with the issue....

   It's the weekend....first attempt at getting on a Poker table....no  joy....but got on after about 14 minutes....a little end of the session craziness....reasonable table briefly....won a blind pot....and then a pot pusher arrived....would be table captain....I got my 16+ mission and was gone....left 4,200$ at the table, won 200$ at slots.....

   First Trip Blackjack 21....where to start....in the 10 minutes I played....6 wins....all on dealer's busts....hand 1 hand better then a 16....a 20....that was a push....down 20$....and quit....no point in throwing good faux money after bad....normally I would have played longer....but with the trash the dealer was dealing me....no way....I don't "chase" in poker....and I'm not going to "chase" at blackjack....
   Have spent sometime playing some solitaire games I don't play regularly....but did play a lot in the past....didn't really pay much attention to scores or wins...just played....Labyrinth, Triple Peaks, Clock, and Aces up....all to be found on "Just Solitaire" (link over on the left)

   2nd trip Blackjack 21....10 minutes played....17 Hands....9 wins....2 Blackjacks....6 of the 9 wins were by way of dealer's busts....up 30$....
   5 games of Crescent, 2 nearly perfect....a 101/104 w/ 7 complete foundation piles, and a 100/104 with 6 foundation piles complete....
   Fall Spades....2nd game a win....but it really makes me wonder just what are the parameters that the computer uses to select the bids of the computer generated players....when it comes to a nil bid....for those who are not familiar with Spades a nil bid is when you declare you will take no tricks in a particular hand....from experience you can complete a nil with as many as 3 trumps as long as one of them is not 10 or higher....4 is a reach....and 5 just noway....particularly with one of them a Queen....I hand 5 trumps, partner had a nil bid....but I trumped in one time to win a hand he was winning....but everyone was out on the last trick except my pard....who won the trick....and failed the nil....5 trumps any 5 trumps you'd really screw up not to get 1 trick....but I've observed all 3 of the computer generated players try it....maybe it's just that the designers didn't play test the program enough

   First trip to Poker, got on first try, 1000/500 blind table, a very mixed bag, had a few decent start hands but by enlarge rarely hit the flop....won 1 blind pot...another time flopped two pair....hole cards Jack/4....flop Jack/8/4....some 1K raises....river another 8....one of the players went all in and had me covered....maybe it was a bluff, but maybe he had the 3rd 8, or a pocket pair....too early in the day to go all-in on what I had....because I folded....only other player....didn't see what he had....but I made the right call for me regardless....20 hands....just the aforementioned win on a blind pot....down 17,250$....16+ mission complete....(and yes....I did try to get on a 200/100 blind table first....no joy....I guess old habits die hard)(loss adjusted after day end figured)

   Two interesting first Games of Fall Spades and Crescent, Fall Spades just a weird lay of cards...hard to decide what toe bid....3rd hand I failed to make my bid and we went back....hand 4 we set the other side....but made 5 bags....made the 10th bag on the 7th hand, -100 pts....and trail by 8 tricks....8th hand set the other side again...4 bags...up by 4 tricks....hand 9....they bag....up by 15 tricks...10th hand 498 & 6 bags....11th hand winner 558 pts and 8 bags....
   Crescent, one of the advantages of playing online, as opposed to on a card table with four decks of cards is the undo button....sometimes you have a choice between 2 possible moves....with the undo you can try both....case in point after the 3 shuffle....had a choice....the first ended with 96/104 w/ 6 foundation piles complete....un-did back to the point I chose and tried the other option....101/104 & 7....but had made another choice a couple of moves before....3rd option 102 & 7 complete foundation piles....not a clear by any means and 3 good results regardless..,but it's funny to play the "What If?" scenario....and the online game in this case gives you the option(s)....

   First trip to a Blackjack 21 table....both dealer and I were catching cards....after 20 minutes....we were dead even....zero change in my Total Bank....then the last 10 minutes....I didn't catch but a couple of hands and dealer was red hot.....30 minutes played....41 hands....16 wins....no blackjacks....1 other 21....3 pushes....1 split (won 1, lost 1....split Aces)....39% wins....dealer only busted 8 times....left 60$ at the table....

   Second trip to a Blackjack 21 table....decided to play the gap of 15 minutes between drops on Blackjack 21 and Poker....first the results  and then a few observations....15 minutes played....13 wins....2 blackjacks....1 other 21....3 pushes....9 dealer busts....60$ won....and that makes me even for the day....if you check your stat page....( clip on your avatar either in the lobby or at the table ) my chips won is 11,080 and according to it ( I wrote the then current value down before play) I won 140$ this session....remember it only reflects gross wins....doesn't consider losses....let's look at the math....I won 13 hands x 10$ per hand...plus 2 Blackjacks an extra 5$ each....that's 140$...subtract the 3 pushes from 24 hands played....21 hands that I either won or lost....minus the 13 wins.....that's 8 x 10$ = 80$...and a net winnings of 60$....my current opinion is if you play for 10 minutes and your down ?$, don't expect you can get it back....the longer you play the more chance the built in house "edge" will get you....if you play and your ahead ?$....get out...bank it....and go back later if you want....cut your losses and bank your gains....because eventually the house will win....

   Two more games of Fall Spades....both not that common, 1st a 4 hand winner we: 274 & 4 bags....they -249...2nd a game I've never seen before,  they: made a 130 pt nil hand we: 90 pts. the next 3 hands I made 3 different nil bids..... 4 hands 514 pts 4 bags....have never see a win in 4 games unless one team scores -200 or more....and never see a 4 games with a successful nil in all 4.....four more Crescent games....best a 94/104 w/ 5 completed foundation piles....

   Logged on to Poker....200/100 blind table....no joy....got right on a 1000/500 bling table.....won a small pot and a blind pot....the 16+ drop down said I had completed the mission and the table was turning ugly....pot pushing and all-ins...down about 8'K....left, when I claimed the 16+ mission, saw I was only 50$ shy of completing the 10'K+ mission....went back out to a 1000/500 blind table, played a few hands, and thought it's been a long time since I've played for an extended period of time and so decided to keep playing....between the 2 tables played for just under an hour....64 hands....down 20,788$....won some nice hands but just wasn't catching a lot of good hands....but you can't always win the "big one"....basically I lost just a bit more than the 20'K drop I collected when I logged in....an compared to my Total Bank....as they said back in the day the loss was "Just Boutonniere Money"....Maybe it's time for me to bid farewell to the 200/100 blind table....and move on....I enjoyed the extend play today....would have enjoyed it more if I would have won more....but....

   Only one Crescent Solitaire so far....100/104 w/ 6 completed foundation piles....a Ace/2 twice....Hearts & Diamonds....Fall Spades....1 very typical hand, by that I mean a tad crazy....a 14 bid hand which we won....we got set once....partner failed to make it's bid....11 bags....for once I was at fault....a rare thing....Have not played many games of Ace's Up as of late, so decided to play some today....first 10 hands....no wins....best hand 46/48....a tough game to beat....
   30 minutes of Blackjack 21....where to start....after 10 minutes I was down 60$....dealer was red hot....after 20 minutes down 15$ more....and at the conclusion of play down at total of 95$....52 hands played....18 wins....1 blackjack....1 other 21....5 pushes....34.6% wins....44.2% wins/pushes....and 72.2% of my wins were on dealer's busts....the 1st ten minutes had lousy hands....the last 20 had a bunch of hands between 17 & 20 and lost all but 3....I know that there's a built in house edge in blackjack....but....?....

   Again no luck on the 200/100 blind table....but got right on a 1000/500 blind table, 3 to 5 players during my time there....a kamikaze....but the other 3 won't play...so blinds came fast...then only the all-inner and 2 including me, at brief conflict and the all-inner was gone, and I still refused to play....in a brief period of calm....won to same pots and played a few others.....then the a trio of Kamikaze descended and I make a haste retreat.....20 hands played.....left 450$ on the table.....took 600$ with me from slots....and not only the 16+ mission, but the 10K+ mission as well.....the blinds really eat up any winnings.....again most of the players entered with close to the minimum buy in.....refuges like me I suppose.......

   If you've read yesterdays post we know what I did with the last 100$ roulette I got on Blackjack 21...if you didn't on went to a table and bet it.....won.....well today I was and still am giving the Blackjack 21 tables a rest..or rather me a rest from the tables.....1st roulette spin...you guessed it..100$.....oy vey....I'll remember that and save it for later....maybe much later
   First game of Fall Spades....a win....616 pts and 8 bags....just another game....until the last hand.....we stood at 475 and 5 bags.....and my computer generated partner bid nil....and I hand a garbage hand....or at least that's what I thought....but bid 4....knowing if I failed my bid and he made the nil we'd be out......cards must have been laid very oddly....I ended up taking 7 tricks....he made the nil bid.....and they got set.....crazy ending to what had been a run of the mill game
   First game of Crescent...93/104 w/ 5 competed foundation piles.....made some interesting observations on the game....at least to me.....and have "posted" them in the "footer"

   1st run at Blackjack 21....30 minutes....50 hands....at the 20 minute point I was up 50$, but then the dealer got super hot....and at 30 minutes....21 wins....5 blackjacks....1 other 21....2 pushes....dealer busted 11 times....left 25 on the table....and I didn't bet the 100$....I check at 20 minutes and was up....was thinking about the bet....but with the deal catching decided this was not the time....at 42% wins....a little below average....
   4 more Crescent games....only one decent one....100/104....7 completed foundation piles....2 tableau piles remained....Ace/2....3/4....all diamonds....if the 2 would have been on top it would have been a winner.....

   The Diamonds got me again, 100/104 with 7 completed foundation piles....but this game all 4 cards were in the same tableau pile.....in this order Ace/4/3/2....if the ace had been on the bottom....but it wasn't
   Two games of Fall Spades....I'd love to find out the parameters by which the computer generate players bid.... first my partner bid nil with 5 trumps....that has 2 chances of not failing....slim and none and slim just left town....later it bid 5 and took 9 tricks....which put us in the bag....oy vey...but a winner, regardless....2nd game he failed to make his bid 4 times....I was able 3 out of 4 to get any extra trick and save the hand....then we needed 25 pts to go out he bids 1 and takes 4 tricks....and put us in the bag again....but we survived......

   1st run at the Poker tables....200/100 blind table, no joy....and right on a 1000/500 blind table...but I've noticed something interesting....more then half of the players with buy-ins....at or near the minimum.....seems like there are others who are refuges from the lower table....but it's been my practice always to take the max buy-in to a table.....13 hands ( must be a dis-connect in the game because 16+ mission complete)......never caught a hand....when I entered the table watched an "end of the night death match".......was going to play awhile but a pot pusher arrived....and left......13 hands....7,000$ left on table....price to play higher than on the lower table...but then....would like to play more....but just can't seem to find the right table....or find a decent hand....

   First trip to a Blackjack 21 table....only an 8 minute gap between drops so decided not to play the drops.....30 minutes.....44 hands....19 wins.....2 blackjacks.....1 push....left 20$ at the table (as per usual all bets 10$)
   Didn't start off well, lost 4 out of the first 5 hands....during play several times I'd have a count of 17 to 20.....and lost more of those hands then I won....I said to myself..."Dang!.....that dealer is lucky!" but then a second later I remembered that that dealer is computer generated.....and for that matter so are my hands.....this habit I have of playing for short sessions may not be the best idea.....after looking at the data I take while playing......percent of hands won this session 43%.....which is almost exactly what it is for all hands played.....so the longer you play the more chances the odds will even out.....another interesting fact.....of the 19 hands I won.....12/44 hands or 63% were on dealer's busts...now there were a few hands I probably could or should have won anyways....but some of those winners if I had hit I could have busted as well....and remember if you bust you lose, regardless if the dealer makes 21 or busts as well....

   2nd run to Blackjack 21....lets start with during play I had a count of 20, 3 times, dealer made 2 blackjacks, and a 4 card 21.....and the majority of the times I hand 17 to 20 count hands I lost.....
30 minutes played.....42 hands....14 winners ( that's 33% wins ).....no blackjacks...no other 21s.....2 pushes.....lost 110$.......of the 14 wins....8 were on dealer's busts.....and that's why I don't play blackjack for real money.......

   I mentioned in a prior post that the next time I got a roulette spin on Blackjack 21 for 100$....less then the normal drop of 200$....I was going to take it to a table and bet it all on 1 hand.....previously the game had had the better of me today....I was down 130$.....well I did what I said, and bet the 100$ on one hand, my cards Ace/9 = 20, dealer showing a 10.....as the others played the thought crossed my mind how many good hands I'd lost today.....dealer busted.....and now I'm down an acceptable 30$.....I'm not saying I'd do that again but it did brighten the day a little.....

   10 game of Crescent and I guess lightening struck twice today.....2nd clear of the day.....104/104 with all foundation piles complete....although the play was different the end was the same before the last shuffle..one tableau pile left, and deja vu  Ace of Hearts on top of 2 of Hearts....shuffle and all foundation piles complete.......
   A wild game of Fall Spades.....occasionally you'll see an over bid in a hand....13 tricks per hand...and a total of the bids equaling 14 or high.....well I can remember seeing 3 in one game before.....1st a 16.....both teams failed to make their bid......later a 15....again both teams failed....later still a 14...we made our bid they didn't.....and a odd ending game is to 500 pts.....we won with 482 pts and 12 bags.......but the exception applied....anytime that a team is 200 or more in the hole, the other team wins .....in this case they had a score of -235.....can't remember a nuttier game

   After 3 tries and 33 minutes, got on a 1000/500 blind Poker table, 7 other players at the table, one left on after the first hand...but most of the time it was 7 at the table, i prefer that, dislike short tables,  I went in at max buy-in of 125K.....and was high stake....next was around 60K.....and except for a couple of times, no pre-flop betting....I thought I had past on and found poker  heaven...now that's not to say that there wasn't any big betting or all-ins but it was all post flop......didn't catch many hands but you can't have everything even though you wish you could...would have played past completion of the 16+ mission, but the last few hands a kamikaze appeared....13 hands played....1 blind pot.....up 1,650$........I'd take a chair at that table any day.....

   One of the things that I've always thought a little bit strange is that on Blackjack 21 you can get less on the roulette wheel, the you do with the typical free chip drops....only 100$ if you hit the low numbers on the wheel.....I'm considering the next type I get 100$ on the wheel....just taking it to the table and betting it on one hand.....

   Day started like most over the last couple of weeks, trying to get on a 200/100 blind table with no luck, after about and hour and a half..also tried to get on a 1000/500 blind table....no luck....but it is the weekend....after over 3 1/2 hours got on a 1000/500 blind table....not my first choice but I wanted to play...a little pot pushing...but managed 2 win a couple of blind pots with what I thought were weak hands....16 hands played....left 3,250$ on the table.....would have stayed but a would be table captain arrived and I left......by that time there were all 22 minutes till the drop and Poker....so I waited until after the drop to claim the 16+ mission and jump start the clock....Crescent 4 hands..best a 81/104 w/ 4 foundation piles complete....Fall Spades 2 winners but in one not only did my computer generated partner fail a nil bid, it took two tricks....which put us over the bag limit so lost 158 points on one hand.......oy vey......

   Noticed today the game is listing 172'K players on Blackjack 21.....I have decided for the time being if I can't get on a 200/100 blind table after a few tries, to try the 1000/500 blind tables...didn't work right away today but then it is the weekend.....I want to play......and if I have to risk a little more to accomplish what I want, then that is what I need to do....

   Got my normal start this morning just after 06:00 local time.....but Poker had other ideas...almost 2 & 1/2 hours before I got a table, mixed bag, some pop pushing, did win 3 blind mice, I mean pots...couldn't get any action, and 2/7 on slots for 600$.....18 hands played....16+ mission complete.....would have stayed..but the arrival of a multitask player, part pot pusher, part kamikaze, and would be table captain.....left 1010$ on the poker table but with the slot winning..only down 410$ for the day.....but hit 600'K on roulette.....not bad...
   The only thing I can say about Blackjack 21 is "He who deals this deals trash"......I lost count on how many times my hand after 2 cards totaled 12,13, or 14......and when I did make a 17, 18, or 19... I might have won 50%..maybe.....20 minutes played.....27 hands...9 winners (33.3%).....1 blackjack...down 75$....a table were I'm glad I only risk 10$ per hand.....if the money was really I would have left after about 5 hands...lost the first 4.....
   2 Crescent hands a 53/104 +1 and a 95/104 +6 foundation piles complete.....Fall Spades a game with not sets on either side.....back and forth until partner made a nil bid, and I made a 5 bid....+150 pts......a winner only 5 bags.....

   2nd run at Blackjack 21.....30 minutes played....49 hands...short table....20 winners.....2 blackjacks, 2 other 21, 3 pushes...but one of the other 21 was also one of the pushes...-40$....winners only 40.8% of the time....better hands then earlier.....the experience levels..despite increased play....have not gained that much experience.....if it's like the experience levels at the sister Poker site....win or lose the more you risk the quicker your experience points/level will increase.....not interested.....a thought just crossed my mind....on Blackjack 21 sister Poker site you gain experience if you go all-in..regardless whether you win or lose.....it could be that you gain experience if you bust....and since I use a "no bust" tactic that maybe be one factor in my slow growth of experience....just a random thought....one of my pet peeves with both games is not explanations of play..a "how to" if you will

   Got a very late start for me, I'm usually log on around 6:00 local time, but never logged on until a little after 8:30 local time...hadn't felt well yesterday and apparently my body needed 10 hours of sleep.....down to business...
   Only took me 17 minutes to get a table.....and interesting table 200/100 blind table, max buying 25K...4 players all with stakes of 50K+, and I think I got to observe a end of the night "death match"...by the time I left only two of the original 4 were left.....big time pot pushing....but In one brief lull, flopped two pair, with the way the betting was going, decided to wait for another to bet, and respond.....nada.....so won a blind pot.....15 hands played....16+ mission complete.....down 1040$
   No Crescent as of yet, and only 1 game of Fall Spades..a crazy win....the lay of cards was to say the least odd......one hand had a typical....4/3/3/3 hand......and my lead card in two suits....both Aces.....fell to trumps.....I only had 3 cards...but in this case a player both time and none....

   I finally tumbled to why the dealer always has more 3 or more card 21s.....some times I can be a real dummkoph ....I only hit on 12 or higher if it's "soft".....the dealer has to hit on 16 or less....therefore he simply has more chances to make a 3 or more card 21 then I do.....sometimes I wonder about myself.....
   On the other hand I see other players hitting on 12 to 16 most of the time and busting more than they don't.....I'd rather stand and get beat, that bust....lose the bet, and see the dealer bust as well.....The house in Blackjack will always have the edge.....but busting when the dealer is showing 6 or less....only makes it worse.....if he doesn't bust you may lose even if you don't bust, but if you bust.....you lose even if the dealer busts as well......

   Played Blackjack 21 in the gap between drops on Blackjack  21 and Poker....20 minutes.....33 hands....15 winners.....2 Blackjacks....3 pushes......up 20$ (remember unless stated differently all bets are 10$)......dealer had 2 Blackjacks and 1 four card 21.....dealer came out like gangbusters I lost 4 out of the first 5 hands...and the 5th hand was a push.....a few back and forth hands....and then I won 5 in a row...and then it was dealer would win one then I would......Like Poker if you want to kept track of your stats, or other players at the table for that matter.....just click on your picture or theirs....in poker I like to check the other players....particularly hands played..under 500 hands can be a tell....but on Blackjack 21 I'll check my stats but frankly since the  other players at the table have no affect on me.....I could care less......example in Poker...player with just a few 100 hands....an Ace comes on the flop.....he makes a big bet....you can be pretty sure he just made a pair of Aces...

   Blackjack 21 today.....was like night and day......lost chips on the first run and gained them back on the second.....a wash.....but an observation.....regardless of what the card is the dealer is showing....even a ten, face card or Ace.....he can bust.....if you have a 12 or higher so can you if you hit....I don't know how many times I've see a player hit on a 13 and bust.....only for the dealer to bust as well....the only time I'll hit on a 12 or higher is if it's a "soft" hand....for example an Ace and a 2 or 3....can't bust on a hit and may make a good hand....if the dealer is catching hands.....your best defense is to leave....chasing in Poker may sometimes work.....but getting down and trying to get it back in this game seldom works....and if you are lucky enough to get a head....leave.bank it....and try again later.....but what I've said before is still true, "If you want to win big.....you have yo be willing to lose big"....on the other hand it's not like you're losing the rent money

   I guess the only think I can say about Blackjack 21 is sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you.....I have a very consistent style, and sometimes I win and sometimes I don't...the main factor is whether the dealer is catching or I'm catching, if both of us are catching then it will be close but the house will usually win.....the only time the player wins is if the dealer is not catching cards after two cards 16 or less and  has to hit....and gets bust-itis...

   Interesting day so far playing assorted solitaire games and Fall Spades....Fall Spades, 1 games a 7 hand winner, only 5 bags..neither team was sent back....I made one nil bid.....plus we had a 90 pt hand.....those 2 were the margin of victory
   Crescent 3 more games....the best started out the worst after the deal only 18 pts....but ended up a 92/104 w/ 6 foundation piles complete....I guess who can never know the finish from the start....Labyrinth took 7 games to clear one...but that's typical....Freecell 1/1 but slow 7 minutes 19 seconds usually under 5 minutes....Clock 1/1 but again slow 5 minutes 49 seconds have done it under 3 minutes.....Triple Peaks......1/1.....this one is not always an easy clear......but today cleared the first one in 1 minute 46 seconds.....fastest time I can ever remember.......
   Have not played Blackjack 21 except for claiming drops and roulette spins.....may just give it a rest today

   I'll be the first to admit that I prefer to play small pot poker, I come to this particular game from a real cash game background......on the other hand I what to play.....now I'm not saying I'll play very often on the 20,000/10,000 blind table....but I may from time to time take a step up to the 1,000/500 blind table or even the 2,000/1,000 blind table....I have to accept the fact that since the game has gone mobile, getting on my preferred 200/100 blind table, is definitely hit or miss or a long wait....I'm not that patience.......as to Blackjack 21....i only intend to play it from time to time.but for the time being will keep up with drops and roulette......
   Best Crescent today was a 101/104 with 7 foundation piles complete....only one tableau pile left 3 Hearts...from top card to bottom card King/Jack/Queen.....nuts......

   So I had been trying for almost 2 hours to get a table....and by way of another klutz move got on the top table..2.5'M buy-in...in the big blind -20k......and decided what the hay....played safe.....credited for 14 hands....but complete both the 16+, and 10'K+ missions.....won one hand with 2 pair...left with 8'K in my virtual pocket....whew!!.....Crescent 3 games all dogs....Fall Spades....a good tight game and then....partner fails bid we go back, next they bag -100, then they go back, then we go back my fail, then they go back twice, then they fail a nil bid....then I make a nil bid.....and we win with only 6 bags....were a lot of 13 bid and 14 bid games....sheer madness

   2nd run to the Blackjack 21 tables.....still not catching many hands...4 times I had a first card Ace and the 2nd  card was a 6 or less.....had first card 10 or face card several times, and only 1 Blackjack and 1 20 out of that....1 Blackjack and 1 21(a 3 card hand)......i push.....but the dealer had bust-itis......15 minutes, 18 hands....10 winners....that's a 55.6% winning percentage.....and took 45$ with me went I left.....average players at table 3.5.......only other play was another dog on Crescent....

   I think it ironic that Facebook calls Poker an instant game....many tries....for an hour and 50 minutes and got a table......16 hands.....mission complete......left 6,900$ on the table....board has 2 Queens, an Ace......and 2 other cards.....I have Ace in the hole.....the other player as I found out a Queen...dang.....that's why they call it gambling....

   Just did some quick math..over the last 6 days on Blackjack 21...I've played 391 hands.....and after all 6 days are added in I'm down 20$....( with few exceptions all bets have been 10$)....all time I've won 526 out off 1221 hands played....that's a winning percentage of 43.1%......really need to find a way to get that percentage closer to 50/50 split.....but with the "house's" edge not sure at this point what that may entail...

   That's two days in a row, got to a Poker table om the first try, some pot pushing and some "my pair is bigger then your pair" had a split pot, won a small pot....short table...only 3 or 4 players at any time.....played 20 minutes....24 hands.......left 4,072$ at the table....but left with 1,700$ from 7 slot spins.....so net -2,372$......but hit roulette for 140'K.....I'll take that anytime.....complete the 16+ mission and claimed......Blackjack 21.....just a drop claimed......

   First trip to a Blackjack 21 table....dealer was on fire.....20 minutes played, short table, 33 hands...few wins.....no Blackjacks.....although dealer had several.....2 other 21s...3 pushes.....dealer was red hot.....and I just wasn't catching many hands but even with a decent count 18,19 or 20 most times the dealer was 1 better......actually was happy to get away only down -50$, was further down earlier.......didn't bust, and  resisted the temptation to bet more the 10$ per hand.....
  Crescent so far 3 games.....the best was a 36/51/89/96 with 5 completed foundation piles...best round was the 2nd  shuffle with 38 cards added to the foundation piles....
  Fall Spades.....2/2.....total of 16 bags in two hands.....only 3 were mine....could have been worse, played my hand to "give away" tricks 3 or 4 times....Sir Bags O'Lot was at it again....my new name for my computer generated partner....

   Second trip yo a Blackjack 21 table.....30 minutes played, 45 hands played, 19 wins + 2 pushes...if you "throw out" the pushes that's 19/43....I won only 44.2% of the hands.....average number of players at the table was 3.....2 Blackjacks and 1 other 21......dealer really was either hot or cold.....I was for the most part not catching decent cards....down -30$.....with the cards I was getting I was surprised it wasn't more.....as per usual.....all bets 10$....no bust policy was enforce....no splits, no doubles

   Now that was the way to start the day.....I could get used to that.....first try got a Poker table (200/100 blind).....a little pot pushing.....a little "my pair is bigger then your pair".....but not a bad table.......won one small pot with of all things a pair of 5s......but really never caught a hand....14 hands played (although got credit for the 16+ mission).....down 765$.....no slots.....other then a drop on both Poker and  Blackjack 21, no other play.....

   First run to a Blackjack 21 table.....decided to strictly abide to a "no bust" policy....only exception if an Ace and a low card was in the mix, take the low score and hit....no busts....22 minutes played.....34 hands (short table).....3 Blackjacks (2 in a row)...3 other 21s.....2 pushes......1 split....a true split, won one/lost one.....dealer was erratic......no recognizable pattern.....but despite that....up 55$....(all bet 10$ no doubles).....I know if I was betting 1K per hand I'd  have won 55'K on the other hand I could have lost that and more.....like I've said before I prefer low-ball, small pots....

   Another wild game of Fall Spades...game calls my partner Spencer...but I think a better name would be "Old Bags or Bust)......we were losing again....same thing happened again bag & set the other side, no bag and lose....my choice.....set them and lost 100 pts but keep them from going out, made up some "ground" on the next hand....but both could with the right made bid go out.....partner last to bid.....my bid was 5...their combined bid was 5, partner bid nil.....he made the nil bid.....I made my 5 bid on the nose...they made 3 bags...gave them 10 and -100...we went out.....getting to be a common wild game.....(14:22 UTC-4) a workman like game 6 hands only 5 bags...
   Crescent 2 games which convinced me that you never can predict the out come.....1st game.....before the 1st shuffle 35/104....great start......but final score 65/104 + 1 foundation pile complete.....2nd game 18/104 (usually I'd just start a new game but decided to play on) then 38/104...46/104......and  52 pts. later......98/104 + 6 foundation piles complete....you never can predict how that crazy game will turn out.....(14:20 UTC-4)....1st 47/104 & last 93/104 + 6.....

(First 1000 hands of Blackjack 21 Report)
   I've only won 428 hands out of 1000 played....a little disappointing.....% of pushes is almost dead on the established odds......but in the process of a little research....discovered that your best chance to beat the fact that the game is slanted in favor of the house is to play on a full table.....in casinos that's usual 7 players.....here a full table is 5...and I rarely have played on a table with 4 players + me.....and you can't chose a table in this game....you play where the game put you.....and as of now can't see a real pattern in the dealer's play......now for the most part I only bet 10$ per hand.....and all bets are placed before any cards are showing.....so you can't place your bets based on the dealers up card....other then a double and if you do double you have to take a hit....a few things I do that have seemed to help is  I stand on  a card count of 12 or more, and hit on a card count of 11 or less.....I've see the dealer bust even if the up card is a 10 or face card....I only split 10s if the up card is 6 or less (except of course never split if up card is an Ace...)....except if up card is an Ace, I always split Aces....and never split 2 thru 9.....and rarely double......you can't win a hand on a bust....But finally can you win big absolutely but you have to be willing to lose big as well.....and I'm a believer in whether it Poker or Blackjack of playing low ball....small pots...

   Still no luck on Crescent, a couple of hand that look promising, and then fizzled into nothingness, 2 more games of Fall Spades....partner's play put us on the brink of losing a 2nd time today...with "they" in the lead.....had a trick late in the game that gave me 2 options make our bid and insure their win or take the 10th bag, and set them.....easy choice because I knew they'd lose more the us and give us a chance.....it worked....second game not as close.....and 2 for 3 on the day.....

   Still no luck at getting a table on Poker....Had mixed results on solitaire and Fall Spades...wild game of Fall Spades....we got 22 bags.....lost 200 pts and still won.....
    Played Blackjack 21....30 minute run, 39 hands, 21 wins, only 1 Blackjack, but three 3 card 21s, split twice, and won on all 4 hands...2 pushes.....up 45$.....53.85% win percentage...58.97% wins+pushes.....all bets were 10$.....I was catching hands, and the dealer was and wasn't...dealer made a bunch of 21s but also busted more then what I've observed in the past.....but no recognizable pattern that I could observe.....

   The "master" plan was to be over 100K in the bank on Blackjack 21.....take the excess and make a serious attempt to try to figure out how to win at this game.....however the lack of hitting any of the "big" numbers on roulette, put the kibosh on that idea..and with only 1 roulette spin today.....may have to wait until Monday....but I can be patient...case in point have been trying for 4 hours to get on a 200/100 blind table of Poker...no joy...but I'm stubborn.....the whole purpose of my daily first run to the table is to get my 16+ mission complete and if possible my 10'K+ mission as well, while keeping my losses to a minimum......It got me thinking......after the 200/100 blind tables.....the next jump up is to 1000/500 blind tables.....wish there was a say 500/250 or a 600/300 table.....Crescent mostly dogs but a couple of low 70s/104 with 2 foundation piles complete.....Fall Spades just some typical messy games but all winners

   So after almost 7 hours of trying....I finally got on a 200/100 blind table....and guess what I find....a table captain..actually I think this guy thought he was at least a 2 star general.....this guy was betting 2K or more before every flop......or at least 10x the big blind....called on the button once.....never folded from the blinds.....got the drop down that the 16+ mission was complete and left.....-1900$...could have been worse.....but on that kind of table.....just the cost of competing the 16+ mission (edited at 22:02 UTC-4.....I have to stop and review my math before I post)

   Played some hands of Aces up (relaxed) best were 2-46/48.....Crescent had one hand 37/104 before the first shuffle, the 60/104 after the first shuffle and then it just died......Fall Spades one of the many things that bug me is a nil bid doesn't "compute".....I've seen one of the computer generated players on a nil bid.....instead of playing off if it doesn't have the suit lead, play trump, take the trick when it could have played off..........or not covered with a higher card that was in it's hand when a partner on a nil bid had the high card when it was its' turn to play...........

   I admit being up late and claiming a drop at Blackjack 21 and a roulette on Poker.....up about 06:30 local time, a couple of drops, but no dice on a Poker table.....bounced around the net for awhile and got a table...after about 45 minutes.....a table of 8.....some pot pushing, but no kamikaze...and was a table of 8 the entire time I played, took 21 minutes to get my 16+ mission complete....was in 1 showdown and lost a small pot to a river straight.....left 2,900$ at the table...but had 4 slot spins.....went 3/4....pocketed 5,600$......as the game scores it 15 hands played, 2,700$ to the good.....but with a drop and a 60K roulette (yeah I know bottom of the wheel again)....up 82.7'K for the day....and another roulette later.....off to play some solitaire and Fall Spades.....

   Several games of Crescent none as close as the one above.....Fall Spades some wild games.....one hand two nil bids one from each team.....both made the nil bid.....first time i can remember that happening....more often then not 1 does and the other doesn't.....and I've seen both bids fail......another 3 hand winner they had -220 after 3 hands, we had 255 and 6 bags...5 were mine......as much as I carp about bags.....I  have no problem with taking a bag or two if it sets the other team....what drives me nuts is when for example total tricks bid is 11, there are 2 bags to be avoided, both teams make their bid, and your partner not only makes his but takes the 2 extra tricks and the 2 bags....

   Interesting morning, drops first thing on both Poker and Blackjack 21.....Poker looked for table got no table.....A workman game of Spades, couple of tries on Poker..nada.....a weird game of Crescent never saw a Queen of Spades until the very end...64/104 with 2 foundation piles complete....Poker no joy.....another game of Spades...a little sloppy but a winner...Poker as above.....one hand of Aces Up...a 45/48....now almost 2 hours had elapsed and got a table.....first hand flopped a full house 4s full  of Aces.....couldn't get much action but a decent pot.....then a kamikaze appeared.....after a few hands he was gone in flames.....then a pot pusher, which caused two players to engage  in "my pair is bigger then your pair".......one existed in defeat...and a table captain was born.....only 4 or 5 players at any one time so blinds came quickly.....drop down says 16+ mission complete and I exited stage left.....16 hands played.......-55$ left at the table.....but +400$ from slots......and one happy camper....(200/100 blind table)

  I've been playing Fall Spades for a lot longer then I've been mentioning it in this blog, but the light bulb finally lite on one hand today.....the other 3 players my pard and the two other players we face, have one fatal flaw in the way they bid......they never account for the bids made before them.....case in point...my pard bids 2, player to may right bids 1, 10 left.....I have a strong hand bid 6.....4 left.....player on left bids 7.....16 total......they make 7/8....we make 6/8....both teams go back.....it finally dawned on me that one of the factors in how the computer generated players determine their  bid.....the bids ahead of them are not a factor.....especially if I'm last to bid I always take account of how many bids are left.....sometimes there are 5 left, and I'm thinking 4....but take another look and bid the 5....and almost every time 5 was the right bid....on the other hand if the reverse is true I'll back off a bid of 5 and bid 4 instead, and if I pickup a bag, it's better then failing the bid and going back and do the same thing when dealing with "live" players....

   Now I freely admit that I'm basing my thoughts solely on my own experience in playing...and admittedly maybe too small a sample for any definite conclusions, However....based on the 830 hands I've played I've won 353 hands....that's a rate of 42.5% ....and 46 Blackjacks that's a rate of 5.5%...and one of them was a push....and I do intent to do more testing....however my preliminary findings indicate what I've know from past experience.....if you're playing 21 with a set dealer as you are in Blackjack 21 .....then the odds are with the dealer....and I'm not sure there's a way around that as of yet.....and my feeling is you need to be willing to lose big in order to win big but if you enjoy the game then all of what I have said is not important......I have to decided whether I can.....will start testing that sometime this weekend

   The laws of probability are that I have as much chance on the Poker roulette wheel of getting 60K or getting 800K.....but lately I've been seen more of the 60K....probability or Karma..you be the judge.....took about an hour to get a Poker table.....first a pot pusher, then a spat of "my pair is bigger then your pair.....had one hand of 2 pair and a small pot, and 1 blind pot...would have stayed but wanted to walk before it got too hot.....20 hands....-3660$.......Blackjack 21 just claiming drops and roulette.....just waiting for the weekend.....(current temperature: +83*F....heat index +90*F.no my kind of weather)

   Weird last hand of a Fall Spade game, I was the "dealer" so the player on my right bids first...and the player on the right bid 10......hit the button to see my cards praying that I had a hand I could bid nil on, and despite me being a gimpy. grumpy. old cuss...my prays were answered.....the 10 bid's partner bid 1, and my pard bid 3......I did the math.....14 bid only 13 available....someone is going back....but then knew if I made my nil even if pard didn't we'd make 70 points and needed only 50 to go out.....I made my nil, pard made his 3....we made 130 pts.......they lost 110 points.....a 240 pt swing on one hand.....can't remember seeing one much bigger......

   Been a mixed day of solitaire.....cleared an Aces Up (relaxed), a couple of Labyrinth, but Crescent for most of the day has been a bust....and a couple of +30s after the deal, and before the first shuffle both fizzled out.....Last game was a good one....91/104 with 4 foundation piles complete.....not a win to be sure but with the luck I've had to day I'll take it.....

   Been an off day as far as drops and roulette on both Poker and  Blackjack 21, Poker 6 drops 2 roulette, and hit the 2 lowest value on roulette, 60K & 100K.....and Blackjack 21 was worse...6 drops and 2 roulette, hit the roulette for 200$ both spins....only 1 spin of low value.....it's almost like having 8 drops....
   Crescent I had one game that really drove me nuts...was over half way complete before the first shuffle 57/104.....and then it just frizzle....a 72/104.....oy vey and rats.....

   I'm still having a problem getting a table for Poker when I want to play....frankly I miss the game that was before it went "mobile"....and not surprisingly the style of play has become far more aggressive, which doesn't fit with my preferred style of play.....but that being said...it with all the warts is still the best "free" poker site I've been able to find.....
   As to Blackjack 21 am still trying to decide what I might do....but will keep collecting drops and roulette and see what the weekend might bring....

   I've been trying for almost 5 hours periodically to get on Poker but can't get a table.....have picked up a few drops, but no open table as of yet.....Blackjack 21..drops and a roulette, but haven't tried to play...I'm re-evaluating what I want to do there, thinking about a few options.....but no decision as of yet
   A few games of Fall Spades, one close one but all winners.....a few Crescent games best a 84/104 with 4 foundation piles complete....
  Also some Labyrinth....in many ways a different game.....in that you either clear it or you don't, it's either 52/52 or something less or way less that 26/52.....rare to see a game I had yesterday which was a 43/52......like I said you either clear it or you don't....off to take another shot at getting on a Poker Table

   After nearly 6 hours got on a table, not a bad table, but couldn't catch but one hand......made a straight on the turn....river made 3 to a flush.....and you guessed it the river flushed my straight.....14 hands.....table: -10,220$, slots: +500$, net: -9720, but 16+ mission complete.....don't actually know why the counter says 15 hands.....but the mission credits me with 16+.....only guess is the counter  doesn't count folds pre-flop except when your in the blinds.....?.....

   Only 13 tricks in a hand of Fall Spades, if total  bid is 14 tricks.....one team will be set.....but if 15 tricks are bid...both teams can go back.....1st hand....15 tricks bet both go back.....we got out of the hole on the 2nd hand, only to get set again.....never got out of the hole for good until 5 hand.....they were only out of the hole twice, and fell right back in.......several hands and 18 bags later...a winner....crazy lay of the cards again.......

   Took me better than an hour to find a Poker table, and then right out of the blocks as it were made a very stupid call....what I dummkoph I can sometimes be.....no excuses...played 21 hands, down -9350$, but did win a couple of decent pots, 16+ & 10K+ missions complete, so the purpose for playing early was meet.....but......oy vey......what a putz I can sometimes be

   I'd like to preface these remarks with what I've said along, Blackjack is not my game, never really have a like for it, or truth be told, not that good at it.....20 hands.......dealer had Blackjack 5 time...3 times in a row.....and a 3 card 21 4 or 5 times......in fact on 2 of my 3 Blackjacks he had a 3 card 21 underneath  me.....plus 3 pushes......I juggled my bets....but couldn't catch a decent hand when I did......but then it's only a game, it's faux money, down -1680$......think I'll give it a rest for awhile
  And Crescent has been a bust....several hands........no joy......a down day so far at online games, but I'm retired, and a bad day of online games beats a good day at work every time......

   Talk about a klutz moment....I have a condition called essential tremor, at times my hands shake at the most awkward moment....based on my losses early on Poker my daily lost should be -9,350$ but it is actually -19,350....when taking the last drop of the day I experience a hand tremor and by accident hit the "play now" button and found myself in the small blind on a 20K/10K blind table. left as soon as I could but left 10K behind....oy vey.....but that pretty much how the day has gone.....did have 1 near miss on Crescent 101/104 and 7 foundation piles complete the 2 was on top then the Ace.....and the 3 on the bottom, last shuffle....

   Chalk up a new one, something I've never seen before in the Poker game I play....got a table right off....2 days in a row.....hopefully the table is full days are behind us (knock wood).....played 14 hands but got credit for the 16+ mission, seen that many times before, down -2595....been there done worse but it's the price I will gladly pay to complete the mission so I can speed up the clock.....table of kamikaze and pot pushers.....that's becoming the new normal.....but 1 hand in a lull.....until the river only blinds and calls.....no all-ins...no pot pushing.....I flopped 4 to a straight, 4 to a flush, and after the turn 4 to a straight/flush.....straight was an open ended.....Ace on the river and made the wheel....player ahead of me bet 11'K....had to call.......split pot.....so maybe I netted 100$.....but the drop down informs me I had complete the 10'K+ mission....well the pot was in excess of 20'K....but never saw that happen before, mind you I ain't complaining......picked up a drop on both Poker and Blackjack 21.....

   For once a fun game of Fall Spades.....close game until the last hand, both teams were set once....both teams made successful nil bids....nip and tuck the whole way.....but bags turned the  tables in our favor, we made 7 total..they 14.....they lost 100 points on the last hand for making 10 bags....a nice win...
   Crescent....4 games.....1 with promise but no joy and the other 3 no point in playing  past the deal......5th game however after the last shuffle.....2 options.....tried the obvious one  first.....nice finish but no winner....one of the options to the game is you can take back moves.....explore your options.....went back to where I started, chose the other option.....104/104.....8 foundation piles complete....

   Played Blackjack 21 in the "gap" between drops on Poker & Blackjack 21....just 9 hands....was increasing my bets......had bet 20$ ( okay I like playing low-ball) first two cards made 11....dealer show a 6.....I doubled......looking for a 10 or face card.....got a 2...oy vey.....dealer fortunately busted.....+30$.....in about 7 minutes

   Got a late start to the day, never logged on until a bit after 7:30 local time, collected a drop on Blackjack 21, then one on Poker, tried for a table, no joy, tried immediately again..got a table....a great table....my kind of table...a little pot pushing.....one incident of my pair is big the than your pair.....but other then that a great table......so decided to stick  around.....and try for my 10K+ mission.....50 minutes later.....and 42 hands.....basically couldn't catch more the a few hands......down 2908$....never made a bad call or chased....just played a good solid game, my game, but the blinds will eat you up when your not catching........dang.plum forgot the 1100$ on slots...(edited table loss)

   I guess sometimes you get what you deserve.....yesterday I had a chip and hit Poker roulette for 1,6'M.....today I also had a chip....and hit for the bottom of the barrel 60'K.....later a spin of the wheel on Blackjack 21....you got.....bottom of the barrel 100$, that's less then a drop.....oy vey
   Haven't played either Poker or Blackjack except for drops since the first report......except for 2 games of Fall Spades.....just a number of games of Crescent, never once even getting close to a clear or even a decent try.....1st game Fall Spades...total of 6 bags...easy win, 2nd game team was 111 points from a win had 8 bags, partner bid 3 and made 7 tricks.....for a total of 11.....down 100 pts....but made 40 pts for making his bid.....fortunately I had bid nil and made my bid...+100 pts....and the other team was set to boot.....a win is a win but.....
