   I sincerely hope that the way this day has started out "vis a vie" Poker...doesn't extend to the remainder of the day....1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....table of 3....won the first 3 pots....all blind pots....than a little later flopped two pair after the turn 4 to a flush....or maybe a house on the river....a raise that would put me all in....missed the river...the other play had trips....oy vey....but it's not the rent money after all....and as I mentioned on a previous occasion when I made another dummkoph call and went bust....I have disengaged the auto-re-buy function....checked to see if I had  completed the 16+ hands played mission and hadn't....decided to go back out....again a table of 3....in a blind....checked....went to hit the "check/fold button"....and had a tremor....an got the "call all" button and with the tremor couldn't disengage it fast enough....the only good thing about it is it wasn't for an all-in....I have a condition known as essential tremor[link]....it's not a serious condition, and is genetic, my mother had the condition, and I both my sis and I do....but it can be very frustrating at times....but my case isn't constant....and I have no warning when I'll have one....and some times I have one at the most inconvenient time....[see above]....ergo....down 146,550$....and no I don't have Parkinson's....but it can be mistake for that dread condition....

   Just your typical start to what promises to be a pretty typical rainy day....up and off to play some Poker....1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in on the table and I took a "chair"....interesting table....short table....never more than 6 players....and as few as 3....most hands 3 or 4 players....and a frantic pace of play....mostly small/blind pots....but a fluid table....little pre-flop raises....a few "any-two-carders".....some pot building....but a great table for my style....and because of the fact that the table fit my style did loosen up a little....but no dummkopf calls....
   Won a bunch of small/blind pots....only 3 pots of any real significance....one of the players had taken a big hit the hand before....went all-in pre-flop before me....I'm in the small blind....looking at Ace/King unsuited....and looking at a call of an all-in for around 18'K....after a brief argument w/ myself made the call....i did say I was playing a little looser....missed the flop....board paired on the turn....and a nice pot....[one other player joined the party....and it was check....check....to the reveal....]....Later pocket Kings....board paired on the flop....to my right a 2K raise....I called....turn put 2 pair on the board....another 2K raise.....another call....and what should appear on the river but the 3rd King....a 5K raise....I thought about a re-raise but called....nice pot....and lastly....pocket 10's....turned the trips....blank board....a nothing board....but an "any-two-carder" in the hand....raised on the flop and the turn....called both....to my right....checked on the river....I figured I had him beat....and didn't want to show him he was truly beat....made a raise....not as a value beat....but just to see if he'd play along....and he folded....I hadn't looked at the clock....was just enjoying the play....check the clock and I had been playing about 40 minutes....table was a good fit for me so decided for an extended session.....I had been playing for about an hour when a strong raid of kamikaze and dive bombers appeared....but rather than the usual 25K to 50K "bombs".....might have stayed....these cats were dropping 125K bombs....and I ran for the "air-raid" bunker [aka: 1 took my leave]....ergo....62 minutes played....76 hands played....left with 49,225$ extra faux money + another 200$ from a 1/5 trip to the slots....

   Got up, logged on to the net, then to Poker....the usual....1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....a table of 4....which after 2 or 3 hands was a table of 3....and several of the hands were "heads up"....pace of play was frantic...I found myself folding with reasonable pocket cards just to "catch my breath" as it were....won a bunch of hands....all small and/or blind pots....but both of the players left and were replaced by a kamikaze and a wing-man....I already had made some nice hands....among them quad Six's.....was up a little....and had both 16+ & 10k+ missions in hand....and the mere thought of playing a three handed game with a kamikaze and his wing-man was repulsive....so I beat a haste retreat....ergo....16 minutes played....25 hands played....grab my buy-in + an extra 2,125$....and departed....will at least consider another trip to the "tables" later in the day....

   Usual start time....usual 1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....after a couple of hands....i thought I might of gotten on a 200/100 blind table by mistake....for the first 10 minutes the "air raid siren" was blowing....the table beset by several strong raids of kamikaze & dive bombers....then for the next 10 minutes....just a friendly game of cards [aka: no pre-flop raisers]....a brief attack by a kamikaze....and then the "any-two-carders".....for the rest of my stay....
   About half way through the first  ten minutes....I'm in the big blind....staring at pocket Jacks....2 players were already all-in....and I had them covered....call....the Jacks held up....and a decent pot....
   Except for a couple of times the table was a short table [5 players or less]....and a couple of hands "heads up"....so the pace of play was insane....a crazy amount of hands for the time I played....
   One player came on board....just a pot builder after the flop....I had hit the flop....and he rivered me out of the pot....after watching him....ah....a tell....not an "any two carder"....but a pot builder....if he missed the flop....check....if he hit the flop....a small raise....after that it was an even game....he won a couple....I won a couple....and one split pot....
   Actually the flop/turn/river were more considerate of me today....and despite some of the crazy play....a very enjoyable way to spend an hour....yup....60 minutes played....83 hands played [I said the pace of play was insane]....took 24,534$ off the table....&....another 1,200$ off a 3/5 day at the slots....

   A quite typical start to the day.....Poker first thing....1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....and the usual selection of the usual suspects....a few kamikaze & dive bombers....but mostly "any two carders".....pot pushers....and at least three different table captains.....and countless occuranses of "my pair is bigger than yous"....as few as 3 at the table....and at most 8....utter mayhem....not the best situation for my style of play....but I wanted to play....only won 8 hands the entire session....and with too many blinds....and calling a reasonable raise when I had decent pocket cards....well you'll see when the stats of the day are revealed....
   I don't know if I've got flop-a-phobia....or....I suspect a conspiracy between the flop/turn/river....is it paranoia if they really are out to get you....I'd have good pocket cards and either miss or just get a small piece of the flop....low pair....4 to a straight or flush....and no help from the turn/river....but if I had zilch in the pocket and folded....oy vey....one hand Four/Two to the immediate right of the button....raise ahead of me....quick fold....flop two Fours....fourth on the river....oy vey.....
   I was down to less than 40K....looking down on pocket Aces....on the button....now I had had pocket pairs 4 or 5 times and totally missed the flop....big blind goes all in (I had that covered]....the table captain went all in as well....just didn't have me covered....had me buried....but back against the wall and called....missed the flop....and the turn....river paired the board [Six's IIRC]....and won the pot....only proving that a "blind raccoon will eventually find a dumpster"....
...ergo...150 minutes played....166 hands played....[no slots]....8 winners....left 65,830$ on the table....and forgot to cash-in the roulette chip [from the 10K+ mission]....the only piece of luck I'd had all day [missed the top amount so would have lost the chip....but did hit for 315'K]....just an aside....saw this a few times today....player in the big blind folds....when he could have see the flop for a check....????....I've won big pots with shmattah when I've got in for a check from the call....at that point you've already "paid" to see the flop....why tare up the ticket....

   An interesting first run of Poker....1000/500 blind table....[check]....125K max-buy-in....[check]....as few as 3 players and as many as 7....pretty fluid table....but it seems as soon as one "any-two-carder".....left....another arrived....most of the time a small raise.....2.5 times the big blind or less before the flop I can deal with....provided I have nice pocket cards....and a couple of players who I think watched too much "M.A.S.H".....and pulled a "Hawkeye"....and the classic "Ace bets"....
If I'm "catching" I'll play along....in the course of the 31 minutes played....didn't have a great run of cards....won a few blind/small pots ....mostly with top pair and a kicker....or two pair....only made one "hand!" out of the 33 hands I played [if the hand ain't trips or better....it's not a "hand".....just a bunch of cards]....so i'm "sitting" there with one of my fav set of hole cards....Nine/Nine....with a 2K raise ahead of me....[found later he had an Ace in the hole]....so I called....a three player game....flop comes and one of the cards was another Nine....another 2K bet....another call....now heads up....turn card paired the board....another 2K bet....another call....river....and the other guy checked....decided that a raise would probably only see him fold....and I wanted him to see the hand....and a check....and a decent pot....but other than that....just wasn't "catching"....the blinds were coming....decided to play thru the blinds and unless I caught a hand on the button....I'd be gone....didn't....& was....took an extra 1,512$ from the table and 800$ from 2/5 at  thee slots....and both 16+ & 10K+ missions as well....if I'd been "catching" I might still be at the table....but I wasn't....so I left....

   I sat down to post my summary of other the games I played today....and discovered I had not posted today's play on the Poker table....oy vey....
   Pretty typical log-in time....usual 1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....not a bad table....pretty typical....a little of everything....I played 16 minutes without catching a hand....the few times I had decent hole cards....the flop was a total miss....and no help on the turn or river....over the last 16 minutes did catch some nice hands....but just blind & small pots....but it was a crazy lay of cards through out....I don't think I've seen more pots won in a 30 minutes session....by straights, flushes or river "miracle cards"....the 5 hands I won were on....3 flushes....2 came on the turn....and one on the river....a rivered two pair....and a turned full house....but was afraid to push the bets on the house....I'd had trip 2's over a pair of 3's....played 36 hands....on a table that ranged from 3 to 7 players....a brief raid by a kamikaze, and an appearance by an "any-two-carder".....and 5 winners out of 36 hands....unless you catch a big pot....isn't a road to success....so left 11,125$ on the table.....[no slots]....but there was a silver lining to another off day....but 16+ & 10K+ missions completed....so I had a "chip" for a Roulette spin....and hit the wheel for 1,680'K....

[First the solitaire games....the two old warhorses....Crescent & Fall Spades....I''ve played both for probably 3 years (length of time I've been on Facebook]....and originally played Crescent on a site on Facebook....which ceased to exist....on any given day I'll play as many or as few as I feel like....what I am calling the rotation....Mahjong and the 6 games I'm playing off "World of Solitaire".....I just play "around the horn".....but Mahjong I play the 3 levels of difficulty as separate games....playing each level once per cycle.....I've been toying with the idea of buying a personal dealer on Poker....have no idea if there is any advantage or not....and don't care if it's just a type of "lapel pin".....the cheapest one at a faux million dollars in game money is just about .45% of my game net worth....I've got an idea she would only appear in a private game w/ friends....guess I'll have to find some game friends.....on any account have not yet decided if I will or not....]

   Typical wake up time....&....a routine log-in to play some Poker....the usual 1000/500 blind table....the usual 125K max-buy-in....and then was expecting the usual weekend delay on finding a table but got one right off....now weekend tables can be pretty crazy....but this one was...."meshugeh!!!".....first few hands two players were in what reminded me of a school yard melee when two bullies squared off....unfortunately the rest of the table joined in and the melee became a full-fledged riot....almost every hand ending with the whole table all-in....except me....did make two pair in one of the all to infrequent lulls....Jacks&Nines....but would have had to go almost all-in to protect it & folded....against one of the main perps....he had Jacks&Threes....but it wasn't worth it to find out....later I checked my stats....I was on my 15th hand in the big blind with two Kings in the hole....looking for the third....one of the instigators of the riot had departed [aka: busted out] and the other sat the hand out [he'd leave on the next hand]....but the damage was down....the table was infected....by the time the betting got to me....the other 4 players were all-in....and I could have covered all bets for about 50K....started to call but then....nah....time to depart....folded....the 3rd King appeared on the flop....and the board paired with Threes on the turn....and trip Threes on the river....hand was won by trip Threes and a kicker....but I already had my "hat & coat".....next hand the 16+ banner unfolded....so I folded and was gone....just wasn't to be....just wasn't in the mood to "ride out the storm" in hopes of a calmer table....ergo....20 minutes played....6 to 8 players at the table....never won a hand....and the cost of the 16+ mission was 13,500$....[2/5 & 400$ at the slots]....truth be told....really was in the mood to play....but my style just won't work on that kind of table....might play later....but it is the weekend....and I might end up on a worse table for my style of play....although it's hard to imagine one that could be worse than that table was....

   1000/500 blind table....usual 125K max-buy-in....table was a little bit of every thing....at one time or another there were appearances by all the usually suspects....players at table ranged from 2 to 7....average probably between 4 or 5....but my ongoing problem of late was in "attendance" as well ....I certainly got my share of decent pockets....many blinds but also many calls if the price was right....wanted to see the flop....and there in lies the problem....rarely hit the flop....and when I did make a nice hand....all I got was blind/small pots....never hit the "Big Hand" when there was a big pot....but played good poker.... never made a dummkopf call....despite the results....just never won the "Big Pot"....ergo....2 hours and 35 minutes played....165 hands played....left 62,500$ at the table [or 3 drops or the lowest spin on the roulette wheel]....but I wanted to play today....IIRC...today's session is the  longest one I've played here....and the most hands I've played here....have played longer "live" poker....guess at least for me the old wisdom that if you play long enough you'll win the big pot doesn't apply to me....at least not today....but a thought crossed my mind....in addition to the "tip the dealer" button....the game should add two more....a "cuss at the dealer" button....& a "flip the dealer off" button....

   I knew "Old-Man-Winter" wasn't done with us yet....winter storm warning up to a foot of snow and winds up to 35 mph...."NUTS"....
   Slept in a tad this morning and off to another day of online gaming....logged into Poker....1000/500 blind table with my usual 125K buy-in....just wasn't my day....did I have a whole bunch of decent/good/nice pocket cards....indeed I did....did I catch good hands on the flop or turn....yes I did....but did the river on many occasions blow those good  hands up by giving some one a better hand....you beat your sweet....(deleted)....I forgot how many times I lost 2 pair to the river....straights beaten by a rivered flush....houses by a rivered better house....I got rivered so many times I'm surprised my avatar didn't need CPR....did I win a bunch of small/blind pots....yup....did I lose a bunch of big pots to  the river.....(deleted)....ergo....62 minutes played.....74 hands played....left 125K + 1K when auto-re-buy put me back in the game in the big blind....[note to self: you really should un-check the "auto-re-buy" box]....
   Almost forgot....had a roulette spin waiting for me this morning....and after the only spin it had yesterday produced a measly 63'K....this morning hit for 840'K....so while the play today at poker didn't go as planned.....the game we play "Poker" is doing just fine....but the play today still stings....
   On another note....Video Poker Live has joined Blackjack 21....both are now "sleeping with the fishes" the watery grave can be seen at the bottom of the river [aka: the footer]

   Another day....another morning session of Poker....another day of decent pocket cards....and another day of disagreeableness on the part of the flops/turns/rivers....did manage to win enough small/blind pots to achieve the 10K+ "cash" mission....but that was about all I won....did build one "house"....trip Threes....on the board with a King....and a fifth card ???....King in the pocket....and a split pot....on a few occasions called a small pre-flop raise....had suited connectors....or paint....several times was four to a straight or flush post-flop....called a small push to see the turn....no joy....just not my day....short table and a bunch  of blinds....decent table to the last 10 minutes {+/-}....and then the "any-two-carders" arrive....and just for fun....several times they all dove into the pool after the river {aka: went all-in}....oy vey....ergo....40 minutes played....47 hands played....down 43,275$ left at the table....just not my day....{no slots}
   Decided to take another go at Blackjack 21....took 5 tries to avoid the ghost table w/ the ghost twins....got on a table of 5 and soon discovered it was a table of 4+1....dang another ghost....decided to stay....not aware that the dealer was Rod Serling and I had just entered the "Twilight Zone".....first two hands...,blackjack, 20 {dealer bust}.....3rd hand....table now 3+1....blackjack....than heads up.....blackjack {dealer bust}....next 2 hands "shmattah" dealer busted....7th and last hand {and I do mean "last hand"....dealer beats my 15 w/ a 3 card 20....and I escaped with 65$
   Not only IMNSHO is the game unfairly slanted to the "house" but the game is "falling apart"....down to 20K players from well over 100K players at some point....only one reasonable move on my part Blackjack 21 for me anyways now "sleeps with the fishes".....
[this will force me to make major changes in my layout but so be it....

    Again with the early up....and off to play some Poker....[1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in]....couple of reasons....from a game standpoint it makes perfect sense....get your 16+ hands played mission....so you can get the benefit of the 2x clock that controls timing of drops/roulette....&....despite my early start times [usually one side or the other of 06:00 local time]....I'm really not a "morning person".....and the play of a game helps me get my brain jump-started....
   I'm sitting here trying to thing what style of play I despise the most....or rather which style of play is the hardest for me to play my "small ball/slow play style against....could it be the kamikaze/dive bombers....no their down the list....usually brief and watching them go down in flames can be entertaining....is it the "table captain".....no....or the "my pairs better than your pair"....no....in fact I've been know at times to play along....but I cheat....I never play with them unless I have trips or better....no it's got to be the "any two cards" player....and more often than not the hands end up being won by a pair....or a "rivered [aka: miracle] card"....that being said.....
   I took my place as is my custom at the aforementioned table....and saw a player I've see before....and sighed....a known [at least to me] "any two carder"....oy vey...did manage to split a pot....and win a couple of small/blind pots....but unlike the other day....just wasn't catching pocket cards that would lead to a good hand....and the flop was unkind as well....in the environment of that type of table....I'll only play if I either have or have a chance to make trips or better....and it just wasn't happening....usual I'll "stick" around for awhile and see if my "luck" changes....but my lack of patience this morning got the best of me and I booked early....patience may be a virtue....but I neither have it nor do I desire to have it....ergo....32 minutes played....35 hands played....left with 1,237$ I didn't have before I took my place at the table....[no slots]....

   I'll sitting here with my granola bar, banana and coffee trying to make some sense out of my morning session at  a 1000/500 blind Poker  table....[as/usual 125K max-buy-in]....and am coming to the conclusion that trying to make sense of it is a lost cause....
   "Sat down" at what varied from a table of 7 all the way down to a few hands of "heads up"....seemed like the number of players change every other hand....but on average a 4 or 5 player table....right from the start I was catching quite a few nice pocket cards....but couldn't hit the flop....and the turn and river were no help either....for example I must have had an Ace in the hole a dozen times....and never paired it....well that's not exactly true....if I had stayed in the pot I would have made a pair of Aces on the river on one hand....and lost to a flush....played 21 minutes before I won a hand....flopped trips....turned a house....a decent pot....over the next 20 minutes did win a couple of blind pots....one with a  high card....at 41 minutes looked in the pocket and found a pair of Kings....flopped the 3rd....turned the 4th....and a decent pot....over the next 20+ minutes....again a couple of small pots....looked at my stack and I was down a little over 25K....just two many blinds....too many calls on good whole cards with no positive results....Jack/Nine suited in the small  blind....flopped trip Jacks....turned the house when the Nine paired....and the table captain[oops forgot to mention his presence]....pushed the pot....on the river bet enough to put me all-in....my first re-action was here we go again....another bust-out....but then....a quick look at the board....no chance of quads or a straight/flush....maybe a better house....or maybe it's just the captain being a bully....couldn't walk away from the house....went all-in....and a very nice pot....don't know what he  had, didn't care....ergo 81 minutes played....106 hands played....took an extra 53,870$ off the table & 1,900$ from a 3 for 5 session at the slots....but just a crazy session of Poker....except for one two pair that lost to a better kicker....and a river straight....when I was already out of the pot....would have lost to a better straight....only made 3 "real hands"....but walked away with some extra faux money....

   Got an early start and off to a 1000/500 blind table with 125K in tow....had on my tightest pair of poker shoes....and that was a good thing....a subspecies of "any two cards".....were in attendance...."any five cards" after the flop....one always bet 3'K after the flop....the other 12'K or 20K+....by watching reveals....decided after watching reveals and seeing what they had bet on....they could be had....but I had to have a good post-flop hand....I'm not taking a pair....even Aces or 4 to a flush or straight....I'm taking 2 pair, trips, or a made straight or flush....caught 'em three times and made some nice pots....they left eventually....and a decent table after that no pre-flop craziness, and only small pot building raises....the occasional visits from an "any two carder" or a kamikaze....did play a few more hands than I had  before but only when I had good pocket cards....today proved once again that my small-ball, slow play style will work....but at least for me the looser style of play is actually a loser style of play....so I've taken the pledge....no more loose play....well....at least until the next time....75 minutes played....95 hands played....short table....usually 4 or 5 players....made my exit with 68,250$ I hadn't brought with me....[no slots]....

   Tad early start time today....slight delay finding a 1000/500 blind table with my 125K max-buy-in but not unusual for a weekend....
   As I write this post I'm sitting here in good spirits....chuckling....sometimes I can be such a dummkoph....decided to play a little looser today....and as normally happens I end up with further proof why I should never play loose ever again....won some pots....except for one....small/blind pots....and won a couple of nice posts....even made quad Nines at one point....but by in large the river had my number today....lost several decent to big pots to a rivered straight when I had trips....
this included the last pot where I "busted out"....actually with the exception of a little pot pushing, and one dude with the "any-two card flu" [a late arrival]....a decent table....4 to 6 players....a mixed bag of hands.....not the greatest run of cards....made trips a bunch of times....and a flush or two....but the timing was off....I'd make trips and the river would wash them away....the thing that really hurts about this whole affair is I went 0 for 7 at the slots....[not]....ergo....83 minutes played....86 hands played....came away empty handed....[left the 125K buy-in at the table]....just not my day....but knowing me....although I should have learned my lesson a long time ago that I really shouldn't play loose....I'll undoubtedly do it again....and again....ad infinitum....ad nauseam....[both 16+ & 10K+ missions in-hand]

   Usual start time....logged on to Poker and got a "chair" at a 1000/500 blind table with my standard 125K max by in....got a table right off....which doesn't happen that often on the weekends....a table of 6 players....2 of which were still at the table when I left....for the greater part of the session there were no pre-flop shenanigans....as new players arrived there were some incidents of any-two-cards, and brief visit by a kamikaze....and a brief spat over who was the table captain between the two aforementioned players....but by enlarge a good table for my style....really only caught one great hand the entire session....oh I  did win a bunch of small/blind pots....come to thing of it except for the one big pot I won....the rest were all blind pots....I'm in the big blind with a Ace/Three suited....got to see the flop for a check....but truth be told....would have played the hand even for a small raise....possible wheel....possible nut flush....nice starter cards....flop came Ace/Three/Seven....a pot building raise from another player....smooth call by me....turn was an Ace....larger raise....another smooth call...a river Nine....and an all-in....brief hesitation....but as I had him covered....call....and a very nice pot....he could have had an Ace/Nine....but a player with less than 500 hands played....besides it hard to "walk away" from Aces full....the table degraded into chaos the last 5 or 6 hands I played so I took my leave....ergo....63 minutes played....68 hands played....left with an extra 9,817$....[no slots]

   As is my custom took a "chair" at a 1000/500 blind table....the usual max buy-in of 125K "placed" on the table....what turned out to be a pretty decent table....(ah there was one ghost there drinking a beer....)....number of players ranging from 4 to 7 (not counting the aforementioned ghost)....as is my custom I check the stats of the other players....and discovered with few exceptions most had played more than 10K hands....so a very experienced table....there was the occasional pre-flop raise....and some expected pot building....but only seldom wild betting....one "any two carder" was there briefly....but a great table....lost trip Kings to a flush....saw the 3 cards to a flush on the board....but the price was right so made the call....had a straight rivered by flush....but again the price was right and made the call....had pocket Aces...hit an Ace on the flop and a decent pot....built two "houses"....all in all played my kind of Poker....but the blinds will take a piece out of your stack if you play long enough....never really won a monster pot....ergo....70 minutes played....82 hands played....took an extra 1,100$ with me when I left [no slots]....
   Did make a stop at Blackjack 21....decided to play for the first time in a couple of days....hot and cold dealer....never more than three players and for 4 hands it was "heads up" with the dealer....who was hot and cold....could have made some head way against him....except for two blackjacks....got mostly shmattah....ergo....10 minutes played....21 hands played....8 wins....2 blackjacks....1 split....1 double....4 dealer busts....down 30$....still haven't made a decision on whether to play or not....but most likely will just play once in awhile....

   Mid-50's*F predicted for this afternoon....and probably will take a short stroll....but first....I strolled on over to a 1000/500 blind Poker table w/ my 125K buy-in....in-hand....faux money don't weigh much....I'm thinking I should alert the CDC....because I fear the outbreak of the "any two card flu" has reached epidemic proportions....wow....what a wild ride this morning's table was....
   I spent the first 16 minutes [+/-] at the table watching an "end of session death match"....a few of the perps I recognized from a former "line up".....after that there was a brief lull and I caught a few hands and a couple of blind/small pots....and then the outbreak of the ATC flu....but at least most of the big raises were post-flop....in the big blind with a Four/Three unsuited....already had hit the check/fold button....I would never play that hand if not in the blinds....and even in the blinds won't play it....if I didn't get in for a check....no raise....[gasp]....and the flop was a Four/Three/???....didn't pay any attention to the 3rd card....a raise...a couple of calls....me included....a ??? on the turn....didn't help me but didn't hurt either....and a smooth call....rivered a Four....a raise....I re-raised....a call and a decent pot....and then came the kamikaze....and the rest of the table revealed themselves to be dive bombers....and I sat there watching my winnings disappear into the "black-hole [aka: the blinds]....had 5 slot spins....so played some slots....in the faint hope that sanity would return....slots spins gone....sanity was a "no-show"....my table wins all but gone....and I was gone....ergo....42  minutes played....56 hands played....took an extra 525$ from the table and an additional 1,600$ from slots....and of course the 16+ & 10K+ missions....not my preferred way for the session to unfold....but played some decent poker....IMNSHO....no dummkoph calls....and got my missions....as I've said before....I'm a game player....and in this "free game environment".....the "table[s]" are only part of the "game"....

   Pretty average start time this morning....decided to take a walk....and this and that....and realized I hadn't posted the morning "Tales from the Table" episode ???....
   Took a "chair" as is my custom  of late at a 1000/500 blind table....what a wild table it was....caught the end of an "end of session death match" and thought well maybe it will calm done...couldn't have been more wrong....as many as 7 players....and a few hands of heads up....the number of players at the table seemed to change almost ever hand....some were of the "any two card" deserves a raise variety...a brief visit from a kamikaze....a couple of would be table captains....one hand deserves mention....in the small blind....my pocket cards were basically shmattah....by the time the pre-flop betting got to me half the table was all-in....a very easy fold for me....although I would have had the table covered....so the table is 7 players at that point....and the player with the largest stack had a "house"....the next couple of hands just him and me....and he was now the big stack....and  as the table filled back up....decided he was in charge....and that lasted for a while....ever since the game went mobile the play here has gotten well....frantic....and because the money is meaningless....it has produced some extremely wild results....as much as I enjoy the game....this is not gambling....gambling assumes that you have something to lose....but are willing to take a chance to "win" something better....but here you have nothing to lose but faux money....so I don't gamble....I play the game....and I play to improve my "stats"....didn't win any huge pots....but caught some nice hands, and for a change the flop/turn/river were nice to me....played some good poker....ergo....51 minutes played....63 hands played....left the table with an extra 57,900$ I hadn't "brung" with me....

   Average start time....another 1000/500 blind table....typical 125K buy-in....I'm going to break my usual pattern and hit you with some stats first....52 minutes played....70 hands played....with few exceptions a very short table....3 or 4 players on a majority of the hands....my preference is for a fuller table....but it 'tis what it 'tis....I mention ATCS the other day [any two card syndrome] but I fear  I misdiagnosed it....it's not a syndrome....it's a commutable disease and at this table there almost always seemed to be at least one sufferer from it....chaotic table....I don't think I've seen more hands won on a high card or a rivered pair....but there was usually a pre-flop or post flop bet....but there again with one exception most of the players were under 1000 hands played....and many less the 500 hands played....or have watched way to much WSP on the old boob tube....and just to add to the "fun" the odd kamikaze or two....right off the bat I caught a few decent hands....only to get "kicked" around the table....twice lost high pair to a better kicker....a straight to a better straight...and two pair to a better two pair....finally caught a few nice hands and a very very nice hand....on the button...."reached" into the pocket and found a pair of Fives....a small raise from the big blind [a sufferer from the ATC virus]....so I called....unless somebody goes all-in or a ridiculously high raise....I'll pay to see the flop if I've got suited connectors or a pocket pair....3rd Five flopped....checks all around....turn was a nothing card....checks to me....made a "value" bet....2500$....or pot builder if you will....one call....rivered the 4th 5....check to me....another 2500$ raise....another call and a decent pot....was up some coin but the constant pre-flop raises and blinds wore me down....was basically down to my buy-in....only 3 at the table....both of the other players had the "bug" and I decided it was time to flee....ergo....left 27$ on the table.....but took 400$ from 2/7 on the slots....played pretty well....just no big pots out there....and just not my kind of table....

   Got started at what will probably be the "new normal" start time due to the start of daylight savings time....took a "chair" at what was for most of my session a short, decent table....most of the time a table of 3 to five players....with virtually no pre-flop nonsense....a brief raid by a swarm of kamikaze....and another brief visit by a pot pusher....but mostly a great table....but my annoying problem of late visited me again....just not catching....and when I do have decent hole cards....the flops haven't been kind....I did win enough small pots to get the chip that goes with the 10K+ mission....but with the short table just too many blinds....and some calls with reasonable pocket cards that except for the rare occurrence missed the flop....and the worst part was....I just wasn't "in-to-it" today....if I had played a little longer....?????....but didn't....ergo...34 minutes played...41 hands played....left 14,500$ on the table....

   Took a "chair" as/usual of late at a 1000/500 blind table....w/ 125K max-buy-in....with a goal in mind....a wild table....thanks to a player with the worst case of "Any Two Card Syndrome"....me thinks I've every seen.....big pre-flop bets....most hands....big raises post-flop....and most hands all-in at some point....I lost track of how many times he busted out and returned....but I hand that goal in mind....so persevered....he had busted out again....I'm not in the blinds....and he wasn't back in the game yet....and I'm looking at a Six/Four unsuited in the pocket....a hand I routinely don't play except if in the blinds....but decided to play it....well the blind raccoon found a big dumpster....I flopped a straight....and the money started flying....and I kept calling....basically a nothing board....except if you had pocket Six/Four....and a very nice pot....was about to leave....had completed my goal....and looked down at pocket Kings....and a 3rd on the flop....hit a short run of good pocket cards and some nice flops....and looked up to see I had played long enough....ergo....60 minutes played....79 hands played....left the table with an extra 191,575$ I hadn't brought with me....both missions in hand....[no slots]....oh and the goal....start of play 24,951 total hands played....end of play 25,028 hands played....I wanted to reach the 25K+ hands played mark....

   For a change got right on a Poker table....usually a delay on the weekend....took my place at a 1000/500 blind table....with my 125K max-buy-in....just in time to witness an end of session death match between players....when that concluded it was replaced by a decent table of for to 6 players....no really big pre-flop betting....mostly small pots....and the occasional raid by a kamikaze or two....won a few pots....but again with the problem of just not catching a whole lot of decent pockets....and when I did the flop was particularly un-friendly....despite a small dent in my stack....actually played some decent poker....case in point....not in the blind....the button on my immediate left....King/Nine suited....got to see the flop for just a call....flop came Jack/Jack/Jack....checks all around....turn was a Seven....again checks all round....river was a Nine....and I built a house....player to my right bets 50K....had been at the table for awhile....seemed out of character....I win or split unless he has a pocket pair better than my Nines....or....I folded....he had the 4th Jack and was slow playing the hand....something I would have down if I had had the Jack....if he had bet less it might have worked on me....???....he did however "catch" one of the short stacks....but I see that all the time....somebody has the "NUTS".....and they over bet the hand....and sometimes end up with just the blinds....????....ergo....50 minutes played....60 hands played....left 4,275$ at the table....but took 800$ from 2/7 at the slots....played well....just wasn't "catching"....

   I have to admit I'm a little frustrated this morning....took a "chair" at 1000/500 blind table with my usual 125K max buy-in....not my favorite kind of table....first of all it was a short table....varying but usually 4 or 5 players....and an aggressive table....and you could have counted on the fingers of one hand the times if there wasn't a pre-flop raise....there would be one post flop....and the faux-money was flying around the table....and players were making some nice hands....can remember the last time I've seen players with that many pocket pairs....unfortunately....never had a pocket pair myself....and when I did get decent pocket cards....which wasn't often....missed the flop....or got a small piece of it....never made the big hand....one hand....I would have rivered a Ace high straight....had I not been blown off the hand by an all-in....and split the pot....I've had decent luck on tables like this....made the "nuts" and won big....but all I got today were the "shells"....just not my day....did win one pot....a blind pot....and despite the loss....avoid the stupid calls....didn't chase....but just too many blinds....and calls to see the flop with decent pockets....just to miss the flop....ergo....36 minutes played....37 hands played....left 24,700$ on the table....[no slots]....

[Postscript]: I am thinking very strongly about giving Blackjack 21 a rest....probably will still collect drops and roulette spins for awhile....I've never claimed to be a great blackjack player....but something about this game strikes me as not being exactly kosher....accord to the research I've done in a normal casino style game....factoring in the "house edge" you should win 48% of the hands....based on over 8100 hands I've played....my winning percentage is 40.8%.....may look at finding another blackjack game....or give it "another go" after a brief "vacation" from it....haven't decided for sure]

   Pretty typical start time....took awhile to find a Poker table....pretty common on a weekend but rare during the week....usually when you do get a table it's 7 or 8 players....but today only 4....and remained with few exceptions a 4 or 5 player table for the entire session....1000/500 blind table....as/usual a max-buy-in of 125K....had a better run of cards then of late....and hit a fair number of flops....won several "garbage pots" [small or blind pots]....but the problem was on the nice pots....old man river had it in for me today....had trips three different times  get washed away by a rivered straight....one of those had pocket Aces....a third Ace on the flop....and got rivered....but the one that really hurt was when I flopped a "wheel" only to see it "flushed" away but a rivered card....and that was pretty much how the session went....despite that....was in the mood to play....won a few decent pots after the rivered wheel & started to make a comeback stack wise....and a new pair of players....drat....a kamikaze and his "wing-man".....and I'm in the small blind with a Jack/Ten suited....double drat....[a brief pause as I went over to Poker to collect a drop]....now where was I and what was I doing and why!! [ah....double drat]....a reluctant fold....a glance at the clock....&....ergo....66 minutes played....76 hands played....left 30,500$ at the table....but on the bright  side....when I began play this cold morn I had a Roulette spin waiting for me and  a chip from yesterday....and hit the wheel for 1.68'M.....left to play some Video Poker Live....on a whim bet the table max....and hit a full house and a very nice pay-off....and off to another winter's day of playing online....

   Temperatures during daylight hours will be warm, but winds will be stronger....wind-chills hanging one side or the other around 0*F all day....so another day online....if the WiFi doesn't disappear again [Knock Wood]....
   Took a "seat" at a 1000/500 blind table [125K....max-buy-in]....and didn't take long to realize I had entered one of the lower levels of a  Poker abyss....virtual every hand if not an all in....then a crazy high raise....I played miniature war-games for years from medieval to WWII & chess as well....and was known as a defensive player....in poker I've always preferred a "small ball....trapping" style....I know the money ain't real....but I am what I am....maybe a bit to stat conscience....okay maybe more than a bit....but tables like the one I got today....I just can't play "my game" on them....and I'm a gimpy, grumpy, old codger....and just can't or probably won't change my ways....did manage on one of the all to infrequent lulls to flop "Trip Nines".....and a decent pot....but was the  only hand I won during the entire session....not that I didn't have some really nice pocket cards....or that I would have flopped/turned/rivered some good hands....and won a few pots....provided I hadn't folded....but would have lost probably more than what I would  have won....just a too chaotic for my nature....ergo....27 minutes played....39 hands played.....average 5 players....left with an extra 1,800$....600$ from the table & 1200$ from 3/7 at the slots....

   A cold, snow, windy late winter day on tap....so I guess that this would be a great day to play some games online....of course I would have if it was a warm, bright, sunny day probably....and of to Poker....
   What has become typical for me....1000/500 blind table....125K max-buy-in....by enlarge there rest of the players were in the 50K or less buy-in range....and with few exceptions....most had only played a couple of 1000 hands....some with limited tournament experience....but a couple with a couple 100  hands....and 1 with 44 hands played when I checked his stats....click the avatar....see the stats....have started doing that again....since I've returned to playing extended sessions....I always check the % of raise stat....never more than six players....mostly 4 or 5....not a bad table....but not a great table....just an average table....with few exceptions mostly small pots....and only occasional pre-flop raises....there were a few big pots but never had the cards to stay in....did win my share of pots but no big ones....now there are hands I don't play....except in the blinds....one hand looked at my hole cards....Two/Three....unsuited....the hand strength meter had barely moved....but in the small blind....already 500$ in the pot....came around to me and could play for call and did....never would have called if not in the blinds....don't remember what the 3rd card in the flop was but the other two were Ace/Five....and a Four joined them on the turn....and a decent pot after the river....biggest pot I won all session....will I start playing pocket cards like that when not in the blinds....nope....but it does prove my hypothesis that "Sometimes even a blind raccoon will find a dumpster"....ergo....40 minutes played....49 hands played....left  with an extra 3,975$....[no slots]....&....16+ & 10K+ missions as well....
