Poker:[04:00]..picked up the awaiting drop)w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side trips to run time off the "drop clock"]:[05:07]:..four tables..all were 1K/.5K blinds..all anted my 125K-max-buy in..first table..a couple of hands "heads up"..most hands were three handed..and a couple four handed..a decent table..just the occasional continuation bets..& a splash or two post-river..but a decent table..and a caught some decent hole cards and hit a few flops/turns/even one river card..4 pots out of 13 hands played..and checked the stats after a visit by the "Grim Reaper" and was up a little..off to tables two and three..the majority of the hands on both tables were played with from 4 to six players..any-two-carders..pot pushers/splashers..continuation betting..more then one bout of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..and a couple of all-ins either on pocket Ace/pair bets..or a short stack/player on "tilt" going all-in pre -flop..and top put the "cherry on the crap sundae"..I flat wasn't catching..2nd table..made one pot with a nice two pair..another hand had another two pair..thought I might have had the best hand..but it wasn't "the nuts" and wasn't willing to go all-in to prove it..I suspect of the guy was trying to "buy the pot"..but wasn't sure enough of the hand..1 pot for 12 hands played..3rd table..pretty much the same as the second..1 pot out of 11 hands played..a very nice pot..made a Six high straight..unfortunately so had 2 others..a three-way-split pot..oy vey..the fourth table for the most part a three handed game..which was dominated by a very erratic player..anything from a fold to an all-in pre-flop..did win 4 pots..but all small/blinds ones..while he had taken the hand off..most times he'd splash and the other two of us would fold..probably should have just beat feet and got my tuckus out-a-there..but hoped that someone would catch a hand and send him packing..unfortunately the exact opposite occurred..he won a big pot..next hand in the small blind..intended to leave from the button..folded..and for once the "Grim One" took mercy on me and I was in the lobby..:[stats]:..40 minutes played..107 minutes off the "drop clock"..54 hands played..10 pots..1 for every 5.4 hands played..left 19,609$ on the last three tables..[no slots]..not an enjoyable day of Poker..but did manage to avoid any serious damage..and tomorrow is another day....

Poker:[03:55]..took the awaiting roulette spin for "110K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]..:[04;48]..I had made a decision to unless I was getting "my head handed to me" to play 50 hands &/or four tables whichever came first..four tables..all the /usual 1K/.5K blinds..all the /usual 125K-max-buy-in.."heads up" to briefly a five handed game..but as seems to be the norm of late..most hands were three handed..no kamikazes..only a couple of any-two-carders..some pocket Ace/any pair bettors..some pot pushing..a few all-ins..but usually from a "short stack" or a player "on tilt"..and except for the first table..the other three were players I have been at table with many times before a few of the "Ladies of Poker"..1st table..except for a blind pot w/a flush..didn't catch a thing..well except for a visit from the "Grim Reaper"..was down maybe 10K..2nd table..flopped a Nine high straight..[pocket Nine/Eight unsuited]..and an any-two-carder..and continuation min-raises..I re-raise 2.5K after the river and a decent pot..another straight followed later..again with the "Reaper"..and I was up appox 13K..3rd table...a full boat & another straight..but of the four tables this one was the least friendly to my style..so folded pre-flop a bunch of hands and occupied my time with the "One Armed Bandit"..again the "Reaper" up abut 14K..4th table..had played 10 hands =/-..with the same two "Ls of P"..although it's hard to tell now with the "Reaper" both are "Coffee-Breakers"..played a dozen hands +/-..decent size pot..they have a piece of the board..a splash and gone win or lose..King/Five unsuited in the small blind..flopped a set of Fives..a continuation raise..I called..Ace on the river..just a continuation bet..me thinks ah no pocket Ace..I called & so did the big blind..neither would slow play a 2 pair w/Aces..turn a second Ace..a splash from the button I called..big blind bumped it another 4K..button called..I thought I had the best hand..but wasn't sure..but with the "110K house money" in mind..decided that this was a time to "gamble" and called and the blind raccoon dove into a nice pot.."button" left on that hand.."big blind" folded the next hand and was gone..helps to have a "read" on those you play with..and the "Reaper" got me a couple of hands later..ergo..:[stats]: 40 minutes played..93 minutes off the "drop clock"..56 hands played..14 pots..1 for every 4 hands played..[6 quality hands..3 straights/a flush & 2 full boats]..left with an extra 43,150$ from the tables & 1,200$ from 5 goes at the "One Armed Bandit"..all in all a very good & enjoyable session....

Poker:[04:10]:..took the always awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]:[05:15]:..four tables today..all were 1K/.5K tables..on all as/usual plunked the 125K-max-buy-in down on the "felt"..all four tables were pretty similar.."heads up" to a four handed game..most hands were three or four handed..saw several of the "Ladies of Poker"..but nobody on the "oy vey not him again" list..no kamikazes..and only one brief stay by an any-two-carder..a little pot pushing..and just a few pocket Ace/any pair bets..but looking around at the revels..a couple of peeps slow playing a pocket pair or an Ace..my game..let's have at it..in other words..my kind of table..now if I could only catch a couple of hands..1st table..wasn't there long enough to even get comfortable..maybe 3 or 4 hands before the "Grim Reaper" got me..2nd table..didn't catch a whole lot of hands but enough to get both my 16 hands & 10K+ on the same hand..pocket Sevens..flopped the set..& rivered the Quads..just had called a couple of min-continuation bets..first to act..just a 2.5K min-raise..fishing for a raise..3 handed got one call..but a decent pot..and again the "Grim Reaper"..3rd table..on the button..King/Two unsuited..flopped the 3rd Two..there was a continuation bettor on the table..and called a couple of min-raises..post flop & turn..a King on the River and I made the full boat..now I had played enough hands with him that if he would have had pocket Kings he would have splashed the pot earlier..put him on a singleton pocket King..and was betting on two pair..[which he was]..he splashed the pot..I called and re-raise 2.5K..he called and the blind raccoon had a decent meal..[during course of play another player made Quad Fours)..again the "Reaper"..4th table..just kinda hanging out..just a bunch of rags..and within 3 or 4 hands made a high 2 pair..and full boats on back to back hands..played one more hand and another visit from the "Grim One"..checked stats..just short of 50 hands played..decided close enough for horseshoes and hand-grenades..ergo..33 minutes played..98 minutes off the drop clock..46 hands played..12 pots..1 for every 3.84 hands played..left with an extra 20,150$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]....

Poker:[04:24]:..picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]:[05:20]..three tables..all 1K/.5K blind tables..anted my 125K-max--buy-in on all three..although three different tables they all were pretty much the same..from "heads up" up to including a couple of hands five handed..but the majority were three handed..which seems to be the "name of the game" at this moment..[shrug]..I much prefer a five+ handed game..yup..there were the pocket Ace/any two pair bettors..and some pot-pushing/continuation betting..&..a couple of rounds of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..but save a couple of brief visits by a couple of "The Ladies of Poker" no recognizable to me other players..but pace of play was just to quick and players popped in//out to fast for me to check stats..ergo..no reads..playing "blind"..but by-enlarge a basically decent tables..tables that I can usually do quite well..that is if..I'm catching..or catch the right hand at the right time..neither was the case today..and the frustrating thing about it was that I was getting better than average looks in the pocket..and several times flopped 4 to a straight or flush and never made one..and never made a hand better than two pair..and what pots I did win..save one were all blind pots..and the other was small..1st table..1 pot..2nd table..2 pots..3rd table..3 pots..4th table..??..just to frustrated to continue...and to put the "cherry" a top of the "crap sundae"..all three visits came with mid-hand..pocket Queens once..and the other two I had flopped a high pair..oy vey..just not my day..ergo..:[stats]:..30 minutes played..86 minutes off the "drop clock"..43 hands played..6 pots..1 for every 7.17 hands played..left 21,250 on the tables..pickup 1.1'K from 7 goes at the one armed bandit..but today will be a better day [knock wood]....

Blackjack 21:[06:53]: played five hands..first four @50$/hand..lost three with "rags" & the other..a two card 20..dealer showing a Ten..yup..5th hand had a 19..dealer showing an Ace..with a hidden Nine..and had had enough..down 300$..Look I'm quite aware that the "house" has a built in "edge" because of the hidden card and the fact that you bet "blind" [before the cards are dealt] historically an 8% edge..dealer should win 54% of the hands..??..most games of 21 use multiple decks..shuffle them and play top to bottom..I got a sneaky feeling..that here there is one virtual deck..and it's a fresh deck every hand..??..anyways..the "house edge" is greater than the norm..now I have never claimed that 21 was "my game"..ergo..I  reached my goal of 1000'KS..and I'm thinking very strongly of putting this game on hiatus..possible permanent....[& just took a roulette spin for..yup..100$][end rant]....

Poker:[04:30]:..took the awaiting drop(s/ad.) for "22K house money"..[the usual side-trips to run time off the clock..before the "new normal" I'd play first thing..and a minimum of 45 minutes..now to accomplish the same buffer..the side-trips..gives me some leeway to miss a drop time and still get my 8 drops/roulette spin per diem]:[05:29]..four tables..all were 1K/.5K blinds..125K-max-buy-in on all three..except for the 2nd table..except for the occasional "outburst" from a pocket Ace or any pair splash..the other three tables were fairly decent tables..a couple of bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..a bit of pot-pushing/continuation betting..an any-two-carder or two..a couple of "The Ladies of Poker"..but none of the "oy vey it's that &%$^ player again"..but by-in-large just flat wasn't catching..I lost count on how many times the flop &/or turn gave me a "four to" and never made a straight or flush..and the only set I made [pocket Jacks..the third on the flop]..got beat by a rivered straight..lost a decent pot..player  made a decent value bet..knew I might be beat..but..like I said wasn't catching..and was a hard hand to lay-down..except for the second table..all three of the others got a visit from the "Grim Reaper" on hands I was in with chips in the pot..twice with a high pair..and the third I had a King/Seven in the pocket..and had flopped a King/Seven..I wouldn't mind the "Grim Reaper" atall..if the dang "guy" would wait until the end of a hand..and after the first dismissal..check my stats..not only mid-hand..but mid-hand on my 16th hand..second table..I hate kamikaze..they drive me nuts..and it "kills me" to have to lay down a good hand..but I refuse to be a drive-bomber..just not my style..but this time it was a "worst case scenario" a kamikaze..a couple of dive-bombers..and the kamikaze was catching..oy vey..and I "beat feet" to  the lobby..ergo..:[stats]:..30 minutes played..89 minutes off the "drop clock"..48 hands played..8 pots..1 for every 6 hands played..left 31,825$ on the tables..[no slots]....

Poker:[04:15]:..picked up the always awaiting drop[s/ad.) for "22K house money"..[the usual side-trips to run time off the "drop clock"..gives me some leeway so I can miss a drop by a few minutes and still get 8 drops &/or roulette spins /day]..[05:25]..four tables..all were 1K/.5K tables..anted the /usual 125K-max-buy-in on all four.."heads up" to a max briefly on the 4th table of a six handed game..at one time or another all the usual preps were there..save for a "true" kamikaze..although there were more then one incident of all-ins from players who were on "full tilt" after losing a big hand..pot-pushers..any-two-carders...and more pocket Ace/any pair/any paint splashes pre-flop..and least I forget the "tournament style" player on the 4th board..and several bouts of "My pairs bigger than Your's is"..now of late I've managed to have some decent days by staying out of the way and picking my spots..but the key too that is you have to be catching and by-in-large I wasn't..by the end of the second table I had my 16 hands played mission..which I claimed before going to the 3rd table..but had less that 4K towards the 10K+ mission..still couldn't catch..finally Queen/Eight suited..flopped..4 to a flush..rivered the Ace for the flush..a pair of Sixes on the board..yup..the other guy had an Ace/Six in the pocket..the only significant pot I lost in the session..and a couple of hands later was visited by the "Grim Reaper"..aka: the ever-present 3 consecutive hands not played rule..even when your innocent..still just under 3K short of the 10K+..4th table..did finally manage to win a couple of pots and the 10K+ mission..and had just turned two pair and again the "Grim Reaper"..ergo..:[stats]:..32 minutes played..102 minutes off the "drop clock"..44 hands played..7 pots..1 for every 6 & 2/7th hands played..left 30,375$ on the tables..mostly on the third..[no slots]....

Poker:[04:06]:..picked up the awaiting drop[w/ad.]..and another "44K house money"..[off to FB & to record [Yesterday]]..[05:02]..and off to play some "new normal" poker..three tables..all 1K/.5K blind tables..as/usual "plunked" my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt" of all three..1st table: three or four handed..didn't play very many hands..general you could get to "see" the flop for a call/check of the big blind..but after that almost every hand one of the other players would splash the pot with a bet of 25K or higher..never got a chance to slide a 'hand in edgewise'[link[okay so I took a little literary licence there]]..was thinking about taking a hike..but the "Grim Reaper" got me first..2nd table..3 handed but almost all hands were "heads up"..one dude would go all-in or a big splash pre-flop..and then fold pre-flop for the next 2 or 3 hands..big splash..repeat..and was constantly "flashing" messages..I'm a fairly educated man but I don't have guess one what that was all about..I'm not sure what happened on one hand..had a high two pair..chips in the pot..another raise..thought I had called..hit the call button..but got folded..??..but got must of it back..had Jack/Nine un-suited..flopped the Jack high straight..and called raises after the flop and turn from a pot-pusher..after the river..not flush draw..no board pair..another push..well this time a made a call/raise of 2.5K..and got a call..he had pair & an Ace kicker..won 6 pots but lost the one..had both missions..another visit from the "Grim Reaper"..checked stats down about 7'K and only 24 hands played..3rd table.."heads up" to briefly four handed..for the most part..players I didn't recognize..except for a brief stay by one of the "ladies of poker"..but I was catching and took "advantage" off a series of continuation bettors..won 5 pots..and except for a win with a high two pair..the other 4 were with trips or better..twice with trips and twice with flushes..which I had either flopped or turned..and as is my custom slow played them..a third visit from the GR..ergo..:[stats]:..26 minutes played..82 minutes off the "drop clock"..40 hands played..11 pots..1 for every 3.64 hands played..left with an extra 14,175$ which I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]..

Poker:[04:20]:..picked up the waiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]..:[05:26]:..I'll admit to being a tad frustrated by the "new normal" if you were to look in the archive here you'd find that I have in the past always preferred to play long sessions on a single table..1 hr.+ & 100 hands+..because of my tight/small ball/slow play trapping style a long session and preferably on a table with at least 5 players allows me to play my game..but I fear that opportunities to do that will in the era of the "new moral" and the reign of the "Grim Reaper[aka:rule of three]" will as we said back in the day be "Slim & none & Slim just left town"..but it 'tis what it 'tis & taint what it taint..anywho..three tables..all were 1K/.5K..brung the 125K-max buy in to all three..kicked from all three by the Grim Reaper..all in mid-hand..two I was awaiting the turn..with 4 to a straight..[shrugs]..all three tables were pretty much the same..but with a player "winking out" on almost every hand..it was impossible to get a "bead" on anyone..a few known to me other players..but even if I did have a "read" never got a hand to test it..a few hands heads up and briefly 4 handed..but most hands were with three players..some pot-pushing..and pocket Ace/pair bets..a couple of bouts of "My pair's bigger than Yours' is" one was won by a high card,,and another by a rivered pair of Threes..??..in other words another day in the reign of loose play..the "coffee break" player..played less that 12 hands..splashes the pot and leaves win or lose..to some extent has contributed to the loose play..but thanks [tongue in cheek] to the "Grim Reaper" we all of us players are now "coffee-breakers"..oy vey..had my 16 hands & 10K+ missions after the 2nd table..went back out..had been playing slots and had a few spins left..claimed the missions..and table 3..shouldn't have bothered..9 spins..one hit for 200$..[shrugs]..ergo..:[stats]: 22 minutes played..88 minutes off the "drop clock"..31 hands played..6 pots..1 for every 5 & 1/6th hands played..left 9,150$ on the table..I noticed on one of the "start pages" number of players in down to 73'K..sad....

Poker;[04:09]..logged on and took the awaiting drop(s/ad.) for "22K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]..:[05:11]..before I get in to the session proper..a weird thing happened..no doubt thanks to the  "rule of three"..2 Kings & 2 Eights on the board..river a Nine..first to act goes all-in for 120K..I'm sitting there with a pocket Eight..but decided not to call..three handed..did one of them have the King..button calls and immediately vanishes..rule of three..probably..reveal..2 payouts..and you see chips going to the vacant spot on the board where that guy who just vanished "sat"..and a small payout to the other who'd gone all-in..and yes I would have won the pot..but the real question is did the vanished or would banished player be a better descriptor..get credit for the pot..??....two tables..two kicks for the "rule of three"..2nd one I was slow playing a high two pair and was just about to hook me an any-two-carder..rats..both were 1K/.5K tables..both time the always max-buy-in of 125K..play varied from "heads up" to briefly a five handed game..just sporadic loose play..some pocket Ace/any pair bets..an any-two carder or two..pot-pushing..and a known to me player who bluffs or semi-bluffs after the river to "buy the pot"..never caught the right hand to call..but lightning did strike twice..once on each table..both resulted in decent pots..first table flop had a pair of Tens..third Ten on the turn..and I knew where the 4th one was..but tried to jump start the action with a min-bet and got only a couple of calls..2nd table..pocket Eights..one on the flop..but thanks to the aforementioned any-two-carder there was some betting after the flop and the turn..rivered the quads..a bet..I re-raised the 2.5K minimum..and the other 4 players "ran away"..didn't cash any big pots..but a decent day nonetheless..and you can't beat 2 quads in 24 hands with a stick [link]..ergo..:[stats]:..17 minutes played..79 minutes off the "drop clock"..24 hands played..8 pots..1 for every 3 hands played..left with both 16 hands & 10K+ missions & an extra 16,400$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]...

Poker:[05:09]..the /usual routine..rolled out of bed and on to Poker..and the awaiting..??..this morning a drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]..:[05:09]:..two tables this morning..both 1K/.5K blind tables..& both times my /usual 125K-max-buy-in at risk..first table "heads up" to a max of a 4 handed game..a little pot-pushing..pocket Ace/pair bets..and an all-in or two..a table looking for a style..I as is my custom stayed clear of the nonsense and picked my spots..before I got kicked mid-hand by the "Grim Reaper[aka:rule of 3] had played 12 hands..won four..the last on trip Sixes..and a decent pot..but with the commotion on the board and too many blinds was one side or the other of my buy-in..frankly didn't check..second table "heads up" to briefly a five handed games..if there was a dominate presence it was the appearance of members of the oft mentioned "Ladies of Poker"..they tend towards pocket bets..and will push the pot and aren't afraid to go all-in but in support of a good hand..but from many encounters in the past I have good "reads" on them and a decent board for me if I'm catching..in point of fact I much prefer to play with "know to me" players..aka:peeps I have "reads" on..[and the usual collection of gifts..& 2 more pairs of high heels..dang]..played decent pocket 4 pots..as/usual stayed out of the way and picked my spots..3 of the pots were of the small/blind variety..the 4th..I had a pocket Queen of Clubs & a Jack of Spades..the flop and the turn put four to the flush including the Ace..there had been a a couple of min raises and calls [5 handed]..decided not to raise..river..another Club..board 'Nut Flush"..[I was in the small blind[..checked..a 12K raise from the big blind and 3 calls..I thought what are the "odds" of with four in that one has the King of Clubs..??..decided that I thought the odds in my favor and besides if I had folded and nobody had the King I'd be highly annoyed..made the call and nobody had the King..and a very nice pot..the blind raccoon was pleased..got kicked later..same deal as before..ergo..:[stats]:..18 minutes played..84 minutes off the "drop clock"..25 hands played..8 pots..1 for every 3.125 hands played..left with an extra 40,775$ I hadn't brung with me..went 0 for 5 on Slots....[edited @19:18]....

Blackjack-21: a crazy day at the Blackjack tables..my usual routine is to go straight from the Poker tables to play Blackjack 21..this morning did just that and after 4 tries and only getting the same table with just me & the dealer..and a "lost soul" caught in the "Matrix"..a glitch..I hate playing on that table..because of the fact the the "lost soul" is still on the "play clock" and play is very slow..ergo..each time I exited without playing a hand..posted the Poker above and returned about 9 or 10 minutes before a drop..decided to get a table and play x-number of hands until a minute before the drop..1st hand..made a blackjack dealer busted..one of the five times it busted during the 12 hands I played..ergo..12  hands played..9 wins..3 losses..one of the losses was a 20 to a 3 card 21..up: 130$

Poker:[04:08]..pickup the waiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]..:[05:23]:..3 tables..3 kicks..all for violation of three hands not played..first two bogus..last probably legit..had a dis-connect/re-connect..all were 1K/.5K blind tables..all brung the 125K-max-buy-in..play between the three varied from a few hands "heads up" to briefly a six handed game..but most hands were played with three or four players..at one time or another all of the known suspects made an appearance..kamikaze..dive bombers..pot pushers/splashers..any two carders..several raises for pocket Ace/any pair or two paint..and least I forget bouts of "My pair is bigger that Yours' is"..one of which was won by a high card..in other words loose play reigned..also a couple of the "ladies of poker" made an appearance..and the usual collection of gifts..also a player who "tipped the dealer" quite frequently..have never understood the "logic" to that..will admit to at times in the past if I had a very good session "tipping" the dealer as I made my exit..but on every hand..do they really think that makes a diff....
   I was getting for the most part decent pocket cards..had the old A/K three different times..twice suited in Clubs..never hit a thing..pocket Bullets..won a blind pot..with a pair..several times flopped for to a straight or flush..made a "nut flush"..had covered two different all-ins..lost the main pot to a rivered house..but won the secondary pot and basically broke even..a couple of blind pots and one halfway decent one..but basically wasn't catching..pockets okay..but the board hated me..3rd table..board froze..and I got kicked..ergo..:[stats]:..25 minutes played..100 minutes off the drop clock..33 hands played..4 pots..1 out of every 8.25 hands played..left 16,925$ on the table..had 7 goes at Slots for 1.8'K..not a good day atall..but could have been a whole lot worse....
