Poker:[04:16]:..logged on to Poker..watch an ad and collected "44K house money"..[off to "The Farthest Side" & "Just Solitaire"]:[05:32]: 1K/.5K blind table w/125K-max-buy-in..a table that ranged from "heads up" to briefly five handed..but on average a 3 or 4 handed game..and a table straight out of one of the lowest levels of the abyss..:[stats]: 27 minutes played..44 hands played..36.8 seconds/hand..5 winners..1 out of every 8.8 hands played..left 13,300$ on the "felt"..[no slots]..[recently a spin of the wheel netted 154K]....
   Just a total insane table..first we had a ersatz table captain who on almost every hand raised his minimum raise and at 400K +/- in his stack that was 7.5K..and kept getting calls..and although some quality hands were made..most were won by a pair..and some by a rived pair..he lost a couple of hands and started splashing the pot pre-flop..25K+ and an all-in a couple of times..and he kept getting others to call..loose play reigned..when he left he was down to the neighborhood of a 125K-max-buy-in..he left and two more pot-pushing..any-two-carders took his "chair"..dang..
  Some how in the chaos I had managed to win 3 blind pots..and was just short of getting the 10K+ mission..decided to stay..finally a small pot and the 10K+ was mine..decided to play to the button..big blind..Ace/Five of clubs..a 3'K raise..called..flopped four to the "nut" flush..2K and I called..turn was a blank..another 2K and another all..river..missed the flush..but paired the Five..another 2K bump..thought about it..then dang he's playing a pocket Ace..and that's all he's got..and besides I'm all but out of here..called and won the pot..got to the button and escaped..[as/of the above mentioned roulette spin the chip did me no good..but getting it..call it a point of pride]....

Poker[04:52]..logged on to Poker and spun the wheel and got the "top of the mark"..880'K..[an extended pause[05:41]: 1K/.5K blind table..125K-max-buy-in..when I "sat down" I was just me and the dealer..throughout the session more "heads up" hands then /usual..most hands were three handed and a few at 4 or 5 handed..[stats]..22 minutes played..[72 minutes off the "drop clock"]..37 hands played..35.7 seconds/hand..10 winners..1 out of every 3.7 hands played..left with an extra 4,150$ that I hadn't brung with me..[no slots..pace of play way to quick]....
   Blew what little of my mind I have left..a weekend..and just me and the dealer..because of the short table I played more hands then I usually do..all the pots I won ranged between blind/small/barely decent..except for once decent pot..but on the other hand avoid and bad beats..with the exception of one other player..play was dominated by stream of "coffee-breakers"..play a few hands..splash the pot..leave win or lose..only took a couple hands to get a "read" on the one player who stuck around..he'd check call on pre-flop most hands..but if he raised..he had an Ace or a pair..post flop if he hit the flop..a min-raise..if not a check..just never caught him but once..I had suited connectors..flopped four to the flush and turned it..first to act..checked..min-raise..smooth call..checked after the river..he min-raised..I raised 2.5'K..he re-raise..so did I..he called and a little snack for the blind raccoon..but then the table went cold..played twice to the button and left....

Poker[04:59]: off to play some Poker..took the awaiting drop[w/ad.] for 44'K "house money" [off to "The Farthest Side"..vetted 30+ new member requests]:[05:37]..1K/.5K blind table..my preferred choice..w/as always my 125'K max-buy-in..for the greater part of the session it was a four or five handed game..a few hands at three handed..and a couple with 6 players..but not as /usual..the core 3 or 4 players were there for the majority of the session..[stats]: 34 minutes played..[72 minutes off the "drop clock"]..37 hands played..55+ seconds/hands..7 winners..5.3 wins/hands played..left with an extra 350$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]....
   To my great surprise, and great relief I caught a very decent table..there were very little pre-flop nonsense..an Ace/pair bet here and there..and some continuation bets..and a few all-ins from peeps "on full tilt"..but most hands you could see the flop for just a check/call of the big blind..ergo..I played more hands than normal..but for the most part although I was catching flops..on most hands it was only a small piece..bottom or middle pair..of the seven wins only made 2 quality hands both straights..the first one was Ace high..four on the board..I had the missing Lady..unfortunately so did another player so we split the pot..I was down a little..in the big blind looking at Nine/Eight suited..and had decided to play to the button and exit..called a min-raise to see the flop..and a Five/Six were in the mix..called another 2K raise..turned the 7..at this point no board pair..no flush draw..2nd to act..just a smooth call..another 2K bump..no flush draw..no board pair..on this hand I had the "nuts"..again checked..this time a 2.5K bump..a call before me..I made it 5K to play..got two calls and the blind raccoon got a decent snack..next hand..small blind..rags..on the button and gone..didn't net much..and would have liked to  have made a couple more quality hands..but given that it was a enjoyable day at the tables....

   A wild and crazy table..most hands were three or four handed..if there wasn't an "any-two carder" or a pot-pusher or the two kamikazes who attacked..then somebody was splashing the pot with a pocket Ace or pair..or was just on "full tilt"..but there were a few lulls..all of my 13 winners were on small blind pots..did catch for quality hands..but never when there was any significant number of chips in the pot [2 straights, 1 flush, 1 full  boat]..the only decent pot I was in I took a set of Kings to the river..3 to a straight on the board..and I had a suspicion that one of the players had the straight..but only had to call min-raises [1K] to stay and play..was pretty sure that I was beat..but..had decided to play to the button and leave..and would have been more ticked off if I had folded and he only had two pair..besides it's hard to lay down 3 Cowboys..he had the straight and the loss at the table was mostly on that hand..now if the rent money was on the table the Cowboys would have ended up in the muck..but it wasn't....

   Not a good day atall for the Mad One..there always seemed to be a pot-pushing pre-flop  splasher at the table and if one left the other soon arrived..early won 3 pots and a piece of a 4th..all blind pots..3 times with a single pair..once with a high card..and was just short of the 10K+ mission..and foolishly decided to play on.."Things will change"  thought I..well they did..if anything they got worse..every time one players stack got below 50K he'd go all-in the next hand..besides that when I did catch half-way decent pocket cards..and get to see the flop for a check/call of the  big blind or a small raise..missed the flop..come to think of it in 48 hands I never had a pocket pair..??..I just flat wasn't catching..wasn't hitting the flop..and the wild style of play..oy vey..didn't lose any major pots..just the wear & tare of two many blinds and calling a reasonable raise only to miss the flop..just no my day....

   It had been my intent to play until I had taken an hour off the "drop clock" and with good fortune the 10K+ mission as well..I was looking at pocket Fours..with a 50K+ pre-flop to my right..not sure exactly what happened but somehow I wanted to fold and hit call instead..oy vey..and a dang..and dummkopf..turns out it was an pocket Ace bet..board paired..my two pair bet Ace/pair..and the blind raccoon found a decent size dumpster...decided to play on..would like to call it skill but it was just dumb luck..did win one other very nice pot..Jacks/Nine suited..flopped both for two pair..rivered Nines full of Jacks..first to act..nothing in the pot but the blinds..raised 3.5'K..got one call..same guy on my right..throw another 12K at the pot..looked at the board..thought about raising but did..a decent snack for the blind raccoon..
   There were appearances by pot-pushers, any-two-cards, coffee breakers, Ace or pocket pair beats..and a couple of kamikazes..in other word your typical weekend crowd..and several players who went on tilt and players semi-bluffing..but for once I was catching the right hands at the right time..very enjoyable day of Poker....

Poker:[04:40]..logged on to Poker and took the awaiting spin of the wheel for 330'K..[off to play some "Just Solitaire"]:[05:17]..1K/.5K blind table w/my/usual 125K-max-buy-in..table varied from a few hands up to briefly a five handed game..but most hands were a three handed affair..Stats: 63 minutes played[100 minutes off the "drop clock"]..99 hands played [if I had checked my stats I'd have played one more hand]..38.2 seconds/hand..17 winners [all small/blind pots]..1 our of every 5.8 hands played..left 16,858$ on the table..
   I had begun play with the intent to play an extended session..and despite the fact that I didn't do as well as I could have..enjoyed the play..only made 2 quality hands out of the 17 winners..a turned trip Jacks & a rivered full boat..Twos full of Threes..I know but a boat a boat..problem wasn't that I wasn't getting good looks in the pocket..just couldn't hit the flop and if I did the turn/river were no help...several times I flopped 4 to a straight or flush and  once to a straight flush..open ended..never caught the card..and then there were several hands that I lost to either a better two pair or better kicker..just not my day..but did a decent job avoiding the big loss..for the majority of the session there was one player who I  just couldn't get a decent read on..anything from a pre-flop fold..or a check call..a small raise or up to an all-in..pre-flop..some hands a continuation bet..some not..but couldn't "crack" the pattern..decided there wasn't one..but never caught the right hand at the right time to "test him"..and of course the usual assortment of any-two-cards..pocket Ace or pair bets..and brief appearance of a kamikaze or two..actually if I had caught one of the straights or flushes I was four to..there might have been a very different result..actually enjoyed the play and there's always tomorrow....

Poker:[04:45]:..off to Poker..took the waiting drop]w/ad] for 44'K "house  money"[the /usual pause to run time off the "drop clock]:[05:19]..found a chair at a 1K/.5K table..125K-max-buy-in on the "felt"..table size varied from a one hand "heads up" to briefly a six handed game..most hands with 3 or 4 players..session stats: 32 minutes played[66 minutes off the "drop clock"]..51 hand played: 7.65 seconds/hand..6 winner..1 out of every 8.5 hands played..left with an extra 2,900$ I hadn't brought with me..2,200$ from the table & 700$ from 9 goes at the "one armed bandit" [2/9]..
   For the first few hands was a decent table..an occasional pre-flop raise..for a pocket Ace or pair..and the occasional continuation bet but basically a decent table..did manage two small/blind pots..one where I rivered a pair and the other on the "heads up" hand when a King high won the blinds..King/Jack of Clubs..flopped 4 to the King high flush..called a min-raise bet..turned the flush..slow played it..called another 2K bump..river was the Ace of Clubs..and with no board pair..I had "the nuts"..first to act just check..to my left a 10K raise..big stack folded..I raised 2.5'K..fishing for a re-raise..only got a call..and a decent pot..blind raccoon had a burger and fries..but the aftermath..oy vey..the loser went on "full tilt" and went all-in for the next several hands and except for one call by the big stack..all he got was the blinds..finally..not an all-in but a 12K pre-flop raise..which the big stack called..and sent him home..[[note]..pace of play is way faster then it really was because of the just mentioned hands]..the rest of the session brought with it a couple of pot-pushers and any two carders and I flat wasn't catching..off to play some slots..big blind to my right had decided to play to the button and leave..Three/Two unsuited..only three hands left..what the hey..called the big blind..flopped trip Twos..rivered Two's full of threes for the boat and a doughnut for the blind raccoon..and left from the button....

Poker:[04:58]..a bit of a later start to the day of on-line play..took the awaiting drop(s/ad.) for 22'K with the knowledge that next up was a roulette spin..66'K minimum [has since hit for 198'K]:[kicked around the net until[05:29]..1K/.5K table..125'K max-buy-in..table size varied from a hand or two heads up to briefly a 6 handed game..most hands were 3 or 4 handed..49 minutes played[80 minutes off the  "drop clock"]..66 hands played..46.6 seconds per hand..9 winners..1 out of every 7-1/3 hands played..[no slots]..
   Except at the very beginning when the was a pot-pushing big stack ersatz table captain who went all-in twice in-row trying to "buy the pot"..and was sent packing..after that the new normal play resumed..some any-two-carding here..a little pot pushing there and the occasional splash when a player had a pocket ace or two pair or paint..throughout I was getting an above average amount of very decent looks in the pocket..but was being treated very badly by the flop/turn/river..did hit a min-hot streak at one point got almost back to even..in the small blind with the intent to exit on the next hand..Nine/Three suited..had decided to fold to any raise..but saw the flop..for a call of the big blind..flopped the two pair..saw some raises..no board pair..no straight or flush draw..so called the raise after the river..yup..another player had flopped and then turned a better two pair..[pause to take another 22'K drop]..maybe if it hadn't been the last hand I had intended to play I might have thought twice on the call after the river..new player to the table..no "read"..??..most of my losses were on that hand..but despite the loss and the fact I wasn't catching wasn't by-enlarge a bad table..just wasn't catching....

   When I took my "chair" I recognized an avatar I'd see many times before..if he has less than 100K..every hand is either an pre-flop all-in or a big splash of the pot..if he has over 100K than most hands just a check/call of the big blinds..unless he's lost a significant amount on the last hand..aka: I've got a good "read" on him..he was in and out a couple of times..never caught a hand while he was there..he left and was replaced by a succession of pot-pushers/any to carders..and of course the pre-flop splash when a player had a pocket Ace/pair/2 paint..was catching several good looks in the pocket..but just couldn't hit the flop or turn..only rarely will I go to the river without a made hand..but in the process of calling pre-flops and continuation bets was down just over 25K..and then in a matter of 3 or 4 hands flopped trip Nines & turned trip Threes..and "slow played" first a pot-pusher and then an any two carder..not big pots..but enough to erase the lost and get ahead a little..decided to play to the button and exit..but caught decent pockets and a small pot first visit to the button..ah play to the button..again decent pockets..didn't pan out..to the button again..didn't even hesitate..to the lobby..but after yesterday I entered the session a bit leary..but that was unfounded..had a very enjoyable session..sessions like today are what make me keep coming back..[since the session 2 mote drops[w/ad] for 88'K]....

   Of late I've encountered quite a few tables where the word(s) of the day were "loose play"..there were a few hands where you could get in for a check/call of the big blind or a reasonable bump..and did once or twice got a decent piece of the flop..but was unwilling to go all-in to protect a hand that wasn't "the  nuts"..hung in on one hand..flopped for to a King high straight..turned the straight..but the river was an Ace..no board pair..no flush draw.."the captain went all-in..and two calls one of them mine..dang if we didn't all have the same hole card and a 3-way split..actually lost the 5% house cut..but a 300K+ pot..got the 10K+ mission..there were very few hands without at least one if not the whole table minus the Old MadTrollie going all-in..I'm not sure what game was being played but in IMNSHO it wasn't poker..more like "Blind Man's Bluff] with everyone wearing blind folds..loose play just isn't enough of a descriptor..the play was just flat crazy..trusting everything to luck..maybe that's a definition for slots..but from my POV not for poker....but still I will play..because every so often I stumble on a table were poker is actually being..just to put the cherry on top of a less than enjoyable day..just took a roulette spin..for you guess it..bottom of the wheel 66'K..[END-RANT]..

Poker:[04:27]:..off to take the awaiting roulette spin on Poker..[no chip]..didn't matter because I hit 3rd best on the wheel for 198'K[planned pause..used the time to get the  "jump" on play @"Just Solitaire":[05:04]..1K/.5K blind table w/125K-max-buy-in..from a couple hands heads up to  briefly a table of five..majority  of hands were three or four handed..first an any-two-carder who min-raise pre-flop every hand..with on most hands continuation raises to follow..he left and almost immediately another of the same ilk took his place..3 problems..1.I was catching decent hole cards and was willing to call the bump..2..I was catching decent pieces of the flop and turn..3..I took top hands to the river..and got beat by a rivered card 5 times for decent pots..oy vey..in point of fact once the turn and river conspired together and got beat by a runner.runner trips..[palm of the hand to forehead]..twas not my day..why me..you know it's not paranoia if they're really out to get you..anyways..actually had won the first pot and the 10K+ mission on the first hand I played..won a few pots late but not near enough to do the damage those 5 rivered cards had done..ergo..30 minutes played..[67 minutes off the drop clock]..42 hands played..42.8 seconds/hand..8 winners..1 out  of every 5.25 hands played..left 33,072$ on the table..[no slots]....[edited:19:16]....

Poker:[04:59],,logged on to play some Poker..took the awaiting drop[s/ad.] for 22'K[planned pause][05:34]..got on a 1K/.5K table with my /usual 125K-max-buy-in..table of four..number of players during my session varied from a couple hands head's up to briefly a table of six..didn't take long to realize we had a "table captain"..almost every hand a pre-flop raise to 7'K..[he had 400'K+ chips..7'K would be a minimum raise]..and usually the same as a continuation bet..dang..did manage to catch him twice..once with two pair..Kings & Nines..had paired both hole cards..and once with Queen/Six suited and turned and rivered after a decent flop in to a full boat Sixes full of Queens..to decent pots..right after that an nth* pot posher arrived..they staged an extend battle for "King of the Hill" which the former captain lost..but came back with a max-buy-in [a rook under 300 hands played]..did manage to take one decent pot off the new captain but decided to play to the top of the hour and leave from the button..had time to play some slots..hit "mixed" fruits for 7.5'K..the hour was up and left from the button..ergo..33 minutes played[68 minutes off the drop clock]..44 hands played..45 seconds/hand..6 winners [only the one quality hand..1 winner for every 7-1/3 hands played..left with an extra 17,325$ I hadn't brung with me..seven goes at the one armed bandit for a total of 8,700$ more..not a table that fits my style but managed to catch some good hands at the right time..and avoid any dummkopf calls..we that is except for forgetting to post the day's play..oy vey....
