Pokerist:..early start for a change..logged on..picked up the awaiting "DB:"@5K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 650'K$ sh-nit"..(yawn)..[2] "Win w/2-pair or lower 4x"..[3] "Win w/full house"..& took my chair at a table @03:55..2$/1$ table..varying buy-ins but mostly 20$..fast play clock..five chair..more "heads up" hands then /usual..some hands with four or five players..but a lot of three handed action..the dominant factor throughout was the "coffee-break" player(s)..peeps popping in..play a few hands..and pop back out..there were periods of play where it was a friendly three handed game..some any-two-carding..pot-pushing..continuation bets & of course the occasional splash of the pot pre-flop for a pocket Ace..any pair..but the arrival of the next player..and it was a visit to Kamikazeville..just an ever changing juxta-position of styles..anyhow..had completed [2] quite quickly..with 2-pair twice..a pair..& a high card..where was that yesterday when one of the "DQs" was "Win w/high card"..dang..with the many "heads up" hands actually won three pots w/high card..[shrugs]..had played about 35 minutes when I won a pot with a full-house..& danged if I didn't win the next hand on another full-boat..anyways..played to the "button"..but at the time was a friendly howbeit aggressive board..so decided to play on..maybe an hour..no soon made the decision when a flock of kamikaze flew in..actual went on a brief hot streak and won a few pots.. which was followed by a return of a friendly game..won a pot "heads up" when my opponent disappear-ed..waited a bit.."waved bye-bye" to the dealer & boogied on down to the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..pretty typical start time..busy day in the FB groups..as/always picked up the awaiting "DB"@ 3K$..checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 920'K$ nit"(ignore as/always)..[2] "Win w/high card" &{3] "Win w/full house"..2$/1$ blinds table..mostly 20$ buy-ins..fast play clock w/five chairs..at any given time play could be from "heads up" to a five handed kamikaze fest & as to style..a couple of small/blind friendly pots.. some any-two-carders..pot-pushers/continuation bettors..all-inners..& pocket Ace or any pair bettors..the first 40 minutes or so the dominate factor was what I like to call "coffee-break" players..sit down play a few hands and are gone..not there long enough to get any kind of a "read" on 'um..last 20 minutes or so most hands with five at the table..and two players I've played against before..have never gotten a "read" on either of them..on any given hand they could just call the "big"' pre-flop..or throw a pre-flop bet..push the pot..go all-in..they're a challenge to play..but the whole session boils down to one hand..had a King /Four in Diamonds..saw a min-pre-flop raise..flopped a King & a 3rd Diamond..called a raise of 12$..turn was the Queen of Diamonds..a raise that would put me all in..no straight draw or board pair..needed a King or a Diamond..called..& for once the river took pity on me..yup..Ace of Diamonds..& a very nice pot..the hour was approaching..had already made a couple of houses..was finally ahead a little..and on a table of four/five the odds of me winning a pot on a high card were slim & none and I heard Slim had just left town..ergo..got to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table & fled to the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..a tad of a late start but off to play some poker..picked up the "DB"@2K$(1st day in the cycle) & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 640'K$..single hand..not-in-tournament"(my style is "small ball" not "high stakes")..[2] "Win w/2-pair twice"..&[3] "Win w/straight 2x"..2$/1$ blinds table..some varying buy-ins but mostly 20$..fast play clock..five chairs..number of players varied from about 6 or 7 hands "heads up" to a full table of five..some any-two-carding..pot pushing & continuation betting & pocket Ace..any pair or connectors in lulls between strong raids by all-inners..most of the session was a meeting of "Kamikaze "R" Us"..oy vey..but the session can be broken down another way..played 84 hands in the first 70 hands (+/-) ..I won 5 pots..did pickup a 2-pair & a straight & an "Epic Fail"(full house beaten by Quads)..wasn't catching but when I did more often then not lost a decent hand to a better one..a couple of times I got rivered..just not my day..and was down in the neighborhood of 600$ or so..over the last few hands hit one of the better hot streaks I've had in quite awhile won 9 pots..at one pot 4-in-a-row..with 2-pair 4x..a set of Aces..2 straights..a full house & a straight flush..at least 6 of the hands were "heads up" with an all-inner..and re-cooped some but not quite all of my previous losses..had completed [2]&[3}..got to the "button" "waved bye-bye" to the table & boogied on down to the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..a little later start then yesterday..but busy day on the two FB groups where I'm a mod or an admin..logged-on to play some poker..picked up the awaiting "DB"@15K$(last day of the cycle) & check-ed the "DQs"..[1] "Win four times"..[2] "Win w/high card"..&[3] "Win w/flush"..[1] & [3]..pretty simple if you play enough hands..but [2]..you just have to be in the right place at the right time..2$/1$ blinds table..a mix of 20$&30$ buy-ins..fast play clock..table w/5 chairs..a couple of hands "heads up" & on any other given hand a three to five player game..first couple of hands were friendly with just occasional aggres-sion..and then an extended kamikaze raid..which finally dissolved into a very aggressive four or five handed game..some pre-flop raises..an any-two-carder here..a splash when a player had a pocket Ace or any pair..and a bit of pot pushing & continuation betting..along the way I won a pot with a straight/flush..(didn't count for [3] but made 2 regular flushes later)..most of the chips I left on the table were on one hand..we had a pot-pusher..who I had caught on a "bluff" a couple of times..the last time he wasn't bluff-ing..[shrugs]..the hour was approaching and despite the fact that I hadn't completed [2]..was thinking of calling it "a-day"..just past the hour..three handed..in the "small".."button" is burning clock..figured he was about to exit..but before he did.."big" books..just me and the deal but already had chips in the pot..the "banner" drops..I "wave bye-bye" to the dealer and exit to the "lobby"..(right place/right time)-(I'd rather be lucky than good)..ergo....

Pokerist:..a more typical log-in &  picked up the awaiting "DB"@12K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Bet 1.3'KS nit"..[shrugs]..[2] "Win w/2 pair or lower 4x" &[3] "Win w/straight 2x"..2$/1$ blinds (for my preferred style of play it's the prudent choice..small ball..completed the reasonable "DQs" & beat feet for the "lobby")..mostly 20$ buy-ins..fast play clock..five chairs..for the majority of the session it was a four or five handed game..& except for a few hands were it was a friendly game..some aggression..some any-two-carding..continuation bets..a couple of splashes of the pot pre-flop when a dude or dudette had a pocket Ace..any pair & twice w/suited connectors..but by-enlarge it was the all too typical kamikaze fest..oy vey..the 2nd Quest was a given..you play long enough and you will win at least 4 pots w/2-pair or lower..in just over an hour I won or split pots w/2 pair or lower 14 time..the concern today was the straight..normally when playing in Kamikazeville if I win a pot I'll fold the next hand & cash-out & re-buy..but I needed straights..so after a winner..if I had connectors I'd play..& my stack took a beating.. howbeit not as bad as sometimes..within the first few minutes made a straight & despite the fact that it was a "board" straight a split pot & a win..during the course of play made another straight but lost the pot to a full-boat..and later lost a full house to a better house..dang..but check-off one more "Epic Fail"..just before the hour mark of the session..another split-pot straight..down comes the banner..played back to the "button" & "waving bye-bye" to the table..ran for the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..got a very late start to the day..overslept..but there again I'm retired so no harm/no foul..logged on an as/usual picked up the awaiting "DB"@10K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 630'K$ single hand nit"(shrugs)..[2] "Win w/2-pair 2x"..&[3} "Win w/flush or higher 2x"..2$/1$ blinds..mostly 20$ buy-ins but a 30$ towards the end of the session..fast play clock..five chairs..when I took my "chair" it was a five hand-ed game..one player had a stack over 19'K$..the mind boggles at how long the dude had to be playing to amass that amount on a 2$/1$ table..he was an all-inner all the time..myself & another player if we won a pot would fold and re-buy..the other two just kept "feeding the beast"..??..anyways the big stack leaves ..table of three or four..one of the dudes who "fed the beast"..also an all-inner..and the other and I con-tinued to win/fold/re-buy..the all-inner left and the rest of the hands were friendly howbeit with a little aggression..considering the style of play prevalent on the weekend & my late start..had decided to get the two "DQs" and boogie..made a Fives full of Three for my 2nd house of the session (along with 2-pair 4x & a pair 2x) from the "small".."waved bye-bye" to the table from the "button" & boogied on down to the lobby..ergo....

Pokerist:..logged on & picked up the awaiting "DB"@15K$(last day of the cycle) & checked today's three "DQs"..[1] "Win 4 times"..[2] "Win w/2-pair 2x"..&..{3] "Win w/3-of-a-kind 2x"..a good set of three and initially thought that it would be [3] that took me sometime..turned out that while I was making a reason-able amount of winners including four full-house (actually made five but lost one to a higher house..check off another "Epic Fail") & even made Quad Sixes..but took me 40 minutes to make two 2-pair..had long since completed the other two "DQs"..at that time play was friendly aggressive and decided to play a few more hands..../....2$/1$ blinds table..varying buy-ins..mostly 20$ & a few 30$..fast play clock & today found a chair at my preferred five chair table..at any given time play could be "heads up" or a five handed game & everything in-between..from a friendly game and small/blinds pots..to an all out kamikaze fest.. and everything in between as well..no any-two-carding..but some pot pushing..& what would the game be if there wasn't the occasional splash of the pot pre-flop when a player had a pocket singleton Ace or any pair..was ahead for most of the session but with the last spat of "heads up" and all-inners..I gave some chips back..but not quite all..got to the "button"..didn't even bother to "wave goodbye"..& wandered off to the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..as/always picked up the awaiting "DB"@12K$..checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 620'K$..single hand..not-in[tournament"(ignore as/always)..[2] Win w/2-pair or lower..2x"..[3] "Win w/flush or higher ..2x"..How do I describe the session..first there weren't any five seat tables available..and was forced to select a 2$/1$ blinds table..at least I got a fast play clock..nine chairs..first two hands I played won pot with a 2-pair & split a pot with another 2-pair..after a little while won pots w/2-pair..w/full-house..w/a pair..[2] completed..one more flush or higher & the two "Quests" I am searching for completed..right..hit a streak where I couldn't catch squat..and was throwing chips in the pot but none were returning..finally Queen/Jack in Diamonds..three more Diamonds in the flop including the Ace..turn and river blanks.. yup..another players pocket cards were King/Ten in Diamonds..oy vey..another long stretch of either not catching or getting beat by better hands..and more of my chips disappearing..finally in a "what the hey" moves called a bet that would put me all-in..(20$ buy-in}..with Ten/Deuce suited in Clubs..and then lightning struck..flop was 2-Tens & a Deuce..held up..sometimes it's better to be lucky than good..a couple of hands player "waved bye-bye" to the table from the "button" & fled to the "lobby"..ergo....

Pokerist:..logged on & pickup the awaiting "DB"@10K$ & checked "DQs"..[1] "Win 880'K$ nit"..[shrugs}..[2] "Win w/high card" & [3] "Win w/three-of-a-kind or better..6x"..I'm sitting here scratching my old grey head trying to figure out how to describe today's session and all I can come up with is it was the week-end..three different tables..all were 2$/1$ blinds..varying buy-ins..two were fast play clock & the other normal play clock..first table(normal play clock)..played maybe 4 or 5 hands before I was left alone..won 2 pots w/a pair & a set of Threes..2nd table..a mix of all-ins & decent pots & some friendly small/blind pots..some splashes of the pot pre-flop when a player had an Ace or pair in the hole..but the table of four dissolved in to 5 or 6 hands heads up..won three pots with high card when the other guy folded..[2] completed..did pickup a another set of Threes..a straight & a flush on this table..3rd table..more Ace or pair pre-flop splashes..punctuating what was a friendly aggressive game..again a mix of decent & small/ blind pots..(my problem throughout was that most of my wins were small blind pots..and got rivered a couple of times when it was a decent pot..oy vey)..flopped an Ace high straight..a decent pot in play..yup ..river card split the pot..but only one more quality to go..was in the "big" pocket Ladies..and flopped the 3rd..hand held up..another small/blind pot..folded the next two hands & "waving bye-bye" to the table from the "button" staggered to the lobby..ergo....

Pokerist:..logged on & picked up the awaiting "DB"@7K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 4 hands"..[2] "Win 2-pair or higher..3x" & [3] "Win w/full-house"..2$/1$ blinds table..initial 30$ but-in..but with kamikazes afoot the rest were @20$..fast play clock..five chairs..except for a couple of hands when player were coming and going it was a visit to Kamikazeville..in the brief lulls it was "heads up" or a friendly three handed game..(one of the player was a Pokerist "Friend")..the rest of the session numbers varied from three to a full table of five..when I won a pot..if I got decent hole cards I'd call the all-in..if not I'd fold and cash-out & re-buy@20$..but for a change was catching and a couple of times won 2 or 3 hands in-a-row..and hit some nice hands and pots..won 4 pots quite quickly..with a pair..straight..a set of Nines & a 2-pair & completed both the first two "Quests" on the same hand..over the next several hands made five more pots with 2-pair thrice..a set of Ladies & finally a full boat Tens full of Kings..[3] completed..I was heading for the "button" to take my leave & on the way got a piece of the pot with a 2 pair..got to the "button"..folded rags.."waved bye-bye to the table & my "friend" & walked to the lobby..ergo....

Pokerist:..as is my habit collected the "DB" for 3K$ & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Play 15 hands"..[2] "Win w/high card"..&..[3] "Win w/full-house or higher"..ended up on two different tables but both were 2$/1$ blinds tables..varying buy-ins..fast play clock..five chairs..1st table..except for the rare small/blinds pot and one hand "heads up" it was it was an "All-in Battle Royale"..as/usual..when I won a pot..would fold the next hand & cash-out and return with 20$..numbers varied but average was three+ on any given hand..I was catching reasonably well and along the way made 2 straights & 3 full-houses and had completed both [1]&[3] of the "Quests" when in a matter of a couple of hands the table changed  from four players to one hand "heads up"..first to act..I called..other guy folded and split..got my "high card" "Quest" and it was the old MadTrollie and the dealer..had all three "Quests" & my stack was up margin-ally..but only 29 minutes played..usually with the above being said..I'd "book it"..however..decided to at least look at a 2nd table..another fast five..usually three to five players..and although there were the occasional pre-flop all-ins..it was more often when a player had a pocket Ace or any pair or had just lost a big pot & was on "full tilt" or the "high stack" targeting a lower stack..& dare I forget there was for the majority of my stay at the table an any-two-carder..with both min-raises both pre-flop and some con-tinuation betting..there were a fair amount of small/blind pots..but a few monster pots as well..one player who was there for most of my session..if he got a piece of the flop would splash the pot..so an interesting table..I caught some nice hands but wasn't catching as frequently as I had been on the first table..basic-ally stayed out of the way and only played "good looks"..towards the end of the session a kamikaze arrived..played to the "button".."waved bye-bye to the table..and made my exit..ergo....

Pokerist:..As/is my custom picked up the awaiting "DB"@2K$..& checked the three "DQs"..[1] Win 4 hands"..[2] "Win w/pair 2x" & [3] "Win w/flush or higher 2x"..sat down at a 2$/1$ blinds table..30$ initial buy-in..fast play clock..rive chairs..and counting me a 4 handed game..before I played a hand..player left..first hand three handed..made a straight and won a pot..2nd hand..now "heads up"..first to act..I called..other guy folds and leaves..'No Value Hand"..[[note:]..apparently didn't count for the 1st "Quests" because I had won 5 pots before completing completed [1]]..went looking for another table..best available from my POV was a 2$/1$ blinds table..mostly 20$ buy-ins there were kamikaze afoot..normal play clock ..five chairs..most hands were with three or four players..a few w/five..an all-out kamikaze fest..fairly quickly I won three more pots with a 2-pair..a flush & a pair & completed [1]..a couple of hands later another pair..[2] completed..and a few hands later another flush & [3]..and had played only 13 minutes ..although I was in the "mood" to play an extended session..wasn't in the "mood" to play one in an all-in-every hand "free-for-all"..played to the "button" with the intention of leaving..,when the main all-inner folded and was gone..and a friendly hand ensued..decided to stick around..although there were still some all-in pre-flop nonsense..there were the occasional friend howbeit some aggression..played round the table and another kamikaze arrived..got to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table and left for the "lobby" slightly annoyed..ergo....
