Pokerist:..another day..another round of poker..as/always grabbed the awaiting "DB" for 12K$ & off to check the "DQs"..[1] "Win 1.1'MC nit"..[shrugs]..[2] "Win w/2-pair or lower 4x" &[3] "Win w/full house or higher..to my relief I found a table right off & on the weekend..my preferred 2$/1$ blinds table with a fast play clock & five chairs..I make no bones about the fact that I play for the "Quest" & do what I can to limit my losses on the table..a couple of hands heads up & a few with a full table of five but the majority of the time it was a three or four handed game..if there wasn't a kamikaze or two present than there was a pot-pushing big stack there for the entire time I play..who liked to flash messages..he kinda got on the case with one of the other players..anyways..1 was playing with a 20$ buy-in so what every style was played I was all-in on every hand I decided to play..if I did win a pot I'd check the next pockets & decided to play or fold..cash-out & re-buy@20$..a couple of days ago I had the same set of "DQs" & made a full-house on the first hand..today took me to the second hand..Queen/Six suited..flopped a Queen/Six & turned another Six..low house but it held up..along the way made 3 more quality hands..a straight & 2 flushes ..was on the button & added another 2-pair to a 2-pair & 2 pairs pot wins & both [2]&[3] completed..five handed at the time..decided to play back to the button..won the next two pots with a pair & a 2-pair.. fold-ed rags in the "small" & on the "button"..decent pocket cards but..nah.."waved bye-bye" to the table & boogied on down to the "lobby" & was pleasantly surprised to see that on the strength of the 3 hand run at the end of the session had managed to leave the table with more chips than I had brung w/me..ergo....
