[[From the Tables]:..the /usual routine..pocket the "house money(2.5K$)..look for a table..took awhile..but found another "Duck Pond" to "swim" in..for the greater part of the session a table of five or six players ..four were obviously "friends" & a chatty bunch they were & play was excruciatingly slow..oy vey..style thru out was friendly howbeit aggressive at times..a little any-two-carding..pot-pushing..pocket splashes of the pot..except for pace of play a decent table..if you're catching..well Wilbur..I'd played 21 minutes before I won my first two pots..back-to-back with a set of Tens & a Queen high straight..23 minutes later..a straight for pot #3..at the 49 minute mark of the session a straight "kicked off" an ersatz "hot streak" were I won 4 pots over the last 11 minutes with 3 straights (one was a split pot) & a pair of Bullets..oy vey..I was getting a fair share of decent looks in the pocket..& hit a few flops..but every time I'd make 2-pair..there seemed to be a better 2-pair or a straight or flush made..only took one semi-bad beat..actually except for that one beat played decent poker..but of course that's easy when most of the session you're hitting the check or fold button..just not a good day for a "swim"..../....
