[[From the Tables]:..got a late start to the day..overslept a tad & then the /usual of late having to deal with a bunch of "mod alerts" & "member reports" on the FB group I'm an admin on..grabbed the "house money" & it was 4:50 before I dove into a "Duck Pond"..& as it turned quite a decent table..during the session saw 4 players that I've been at table with before..had decent "reads" on them..played varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to briefly a six handed game..but my best estimate was the average was four handed..for the most part friendly with the occasional pre-flop min-raise & until the turn &/or river most raises were of the min/small variety..however..one of the know players to me has an annoying habit of once in awhile going all-in pre-flop..I say annoying...the one time he did it I've had old Anna Kounikova suited in the pocket..the other time I'd just flopped the high pair on the board..Kings..now there are days I'd might call.."the read"..but not on a day I wasn't catching..ah..there's the rub..I had taken my first pot with-in the first couple of hands I'd played..pocket Fours & hand turned the set..a smallish pot..(as all the rest of the pots were)..won 2 pots w/a pair..2 pots w/2 pair & split 2 pots w/2-pair..had numerous 4-TOs but never hit "the card"..& a couple of the straight draws were "open enders"..made trips three times..but 4-TOs a straight or flush & a big raise set me packin'..just flat wasn't catching..now I never called more than the blinds or a min raise & only "chased" if I could see the next card for a call of a min-raise..never lost a pot with any significant chips in the pot..just not enough pots & no big pots..if I'd been playing with the "rent money" & not the "house's money" I'd a been long gone..but curiosity kept me playing..could I actually play an hour & catch squat..dang but the answer was yes..hour had past..got to the "button"..click "sit out next hand" & departed..../....
