Had intended to watch the movie "Contact" last night....and play my usual cycle of solitaire games while I watched....got through the first 2 hours [3 1/2 hour movie] and the first few hands of my first "Fall Spades: game....and was informed by my body that it was bed time....but the movie is being re-show at 16:30 today....so....but had intended to take the roulette spin due just after 23:30....that did happen either....
Logged on to play some Poker @5:46 after having taken the roulette spin....no chip....but hit the top of the mark on the wheel for 840'K....finally....the usual 1K/.5K table w/ the usual 125K max-by-in....and with 840'K "house money" to boot....
I've been wanting to play on a "full table" for quite sometime and this morning got my wish....although 9 spots available lately the 9th hasn't been filled and wasn't today....a few hands less than eight players....with comings and goings....and a few hands with avatars with spinning hour glasses....but most hands were 8 handed....
And what a table it was....no true kamikazes but many hands ended with as many as 4 or 5 players all-in....and virtually every hand there was a game of "My pairs bigger than Yours'".....the only blind pots were when one player went all in and no-one followed....virtually every pot was a big pot and there were a few massive ones at well....at one point one of the players had over 1'M in his stack....
In the mist of this chaos....I won 3 hands....first at the 34 minute mark of the session....the second at 44 minutes....and the last the hand before I made my exit....on 2 pair, a nut flush & an Ace high straight....had been down until the first winner....my King/Queen suited hole cards were match by a King & Queen on the flop....both of the other winners were "turned"....played the session in ultra tight mode....ergo....61 minutes played....49 hands played....76.2 seconds/hand....3 winners....1 out of every 16 1/3 hands....and yet....left with an extra 53,500$....[no slots] & [no dummkopf calls]....
