Poker:[04:24]:..picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips]:[05:20]..three tables..all 1K/.5K blind tables..anted my 125K-max--buy-in on all three..although three different tables they all were pretty much the same..from "heads up" up to including a couple of hands five handed..but the majority were three handed..which seems to be the "name of the game" at this moment..[shrug]..I much prefer a five+ handed game..yup..there were the pocket Ace/any two pair bettors..and some pot-pushing/continuation betting..&..a couple of rounds of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..but save a couple of brief visits by a couple of "The Ladies of Poker" no recognizable to me other players..but pace of play was just to quick and players popped in//out to fast for me to check stats..ergo..no reads..playing "blind"..but by-enlarge a basically decent tables..tables that I can usually do quite well..that is if..I'm catching..or catch the right hand at the right time..neither was the case today..and the frustrating thing about it was that I was getting better than average looks in the pocket..and several times flopped 4 to a straight or flush and never made one..and never made a hand better than two pair..and what pots I did win..save one were all blind pots..and the other was small..1st table..1 pot..2nd table..2 pots..3rd table..3 pots..4th table..??..just to frustrated to continue...and to put the "cherry" a top of the "crap sundae"..all three visits came with mid-hand..pocket Queens once..and the other two I had flopped a high pair..oy vey..just not my day..ergo..:[stats]:..30 minutes played..86 minutes off the "drop clock"..43 hands played..6 pots..1 for every 7.17 hands played..left 21,250 on the tables..pickup 1.1'K from 7 goes at the one armed bandit..but today will be a better day [knock wood]....

Blackjack 21:[06:53]: played five hands..first four @50$/hand..lost three with "rags" & the other..a two card 20..dealer showing a Ten..yup..5th hand had a 19..dealer showing an Ace..with a hidden Nine..and had had enough..down 300$..Look I'm quite aware that the "house" has a built in "edge" because of the hidden card and the fact that you bet "blind" [before the cards are dealt] historically an 8% edge..dealer should win 54% of the hands..??..most games of 21 use multiple decks..shuffle them and play top to bottom..I got a sneaky feeling..that here there is one virtual deck..and it's a fresh deck every hand..??..anyways..the "house edge" is greater than the norm..now I have never claimed that 21 was "my game"..ergo..I reached my goal of 1000'KS..and I'm thinking very strongly of putting this game on hiatus..possible permanent....[& just took a roulette spin for..yup..100$][end rant]....
