*[]*[Today's Live Game Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[20:57 last night]:..took a roulette spin for "66K house money..:[04:34[:..took the awaiting drop(w.ad.) for an additional "44K house money & then off to other online concerns to run time off the "drop clock..:[05:53]:..four tables played..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K variety & on all as/always I risked the 125K-max-buy-in..play varied from "heads up" to very briefly a five handed game..most hands were with three at the table..but especially on the first three tables the players present were in a constant state of flux..the "Reaper" was apparently quits busy..the first three tables were pretty much the same from a stand point of style..pocket Ace/any pair or any paint was deemed worth of a pre-flop splash of the pot..continuation betting & post-river splashes as well..loose play reigned..in the midst of this I was getting a fair amount of decent pocket cards..and was willing to pay a reasonable pre-flop raise [a couple of any-two carders]..and either missed the flop or got a small piece..out of the 35 hands on the first three tables only managed to win three pots..all were small/blind pots..but the wear & tear of too many blinds and too many times willing to pay to see the flop took it's toll on my stack..and 1st table there was a three way hand..board..a pair of Kings..a Pair of Aces..I had a pocket King..a 5K raise before me..I decided to call..a call after me..bettor..just had the two pair with a Queen..yup..the other had an Ace..but that's the way the first three tables went..hand my 16 hands mission and claimed it after the second table..but after the 3rd still didn't have the 10K+ mission..was down about 44K..decided to play on for the 10K+ mission..4th table..won a small pot with a pair..completed the 10K+ mission and thought about taking it in hand and running for the lobby..but decided to play..play on this table was very loose but did manage to catch a couple more decent hands..a small pot with a pair and a halfway decent one with an Ace high straight..and did re-coop some of my losses from the first three tables..all exits by way of the "Reaper"..[just picked up a drop from "Poker" & two bonuses from "Video Poker Live"]..ergo..:{stats}: 33 minutes played..112 minutes off the "drop clock"..47 hands played..6 winners..1 for every 7&5/6th hands played..left 34,300$+ on the first three tables..[no slots]....Video Poker Live: I've revised my daily quest for the 2x modifier..I log-on just after 15:00 GMT(currently 10:00 AM local time) and take a spin of the "Jackpot Wheel"..this morning for 120K-coins..then play two rounds on the tournament machine..this morning 105'K-coins..(made two trips last night for a total of 90K-coins)..but also on this mornings trip picked up 32% of the needed 100% for the 2x modifier..ergo..7 hands played@50K-coins.hand on the "Tens or Better" machine..a better run than/usual..twice a pair..twice 2-pairs & a set of Kings..the 2x modifier + 200K-coins to boot..a 200K-coin "Happy Bonus".."Current Bank" now stands@121.65'M-coins..& 6th ranking....[10:31 UTC-5]..../....Days End Poker: Total Bank: 689.6'M / Net Gain Today: 471.7'K / Drops[7]&Roulette: 506'K / Tables[4]: -34,300& / Hands Played Today: 63,465 / [[notes]: 6 drops@44K & 1 drop@22K & 2 roulette spins: 1@66K & 1@154K]....[19:29 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
