Pokerist:..a tad of a late start but off to play some poker..picked up the "DB"@2K$(1st day in the cycle) & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 640'K$..single hand..not-in-tournament"(my style is "small ball" not "high stakes")..[2] "Win w/2-pair twice"..&[3] "Win w/straight 2x"..2$/1$ blinds table..some varying buy-ins but mostly 20$..fast play clock..five chairs..number of players varied from about 6 or 7 hands "heads up" to a full table of five..some any-two-carding..pot pushing & continuation betting & pocket Ace..any pair or connectors in lulls between strong raids by all-inners..most of the session was a meeting of "Kamikaze "R" Us"..oy vey..but the session can be broken down another way..played 84 hands in the first 70 hands (+/-) ..I won 5 pots..did pickup a 2-pair & a straight & an "Epic Fail"(full house beaten by Quads)..wasn't catching but when I did more often then not lost a decent hand to a better one..a couple of times I got rivered..just not my day..and was down in the neighborhood of 600$ or so..over the last few hands hit one of the better hot streaks I've had in quite awhile won 9 pots..at one pot 4-in-a-row..with 2-pair 4x..a set of Aces..2 straights..a full house & a straight flush..at least 6 of the hands were "heads up" with an all-inner..and re-cooped some but not quite all of my previous losses..had completed [2]&[3}..got to the "button" "waved bye-bye" to the table & boogied on down to the "lobby"..ergo....
