Pokerist:..pretty typical start time..busy day in the FB groups..as/always picked up the awaiting "DB"@ 3K$..checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 920'K$ nit"(ignore as/always)..[2] "Win w/high card" &{3] "Win w/full house"..2$/1$ blinds table..mostly 20$ buy-ins..fast play clock w/five chairs..at any given time play could be from "heads up" to a five handed kamikaze fest & as to style..a couple of small/blind friendly pots.. some any-two-carders..pot-pushers/continuation bettors..all-inners..& pocket Ace or any pair bettors..the first 40 minutes or so the dominate factor was what I like to call "coffee-break" players..sit down play a few hands and are gone..not there long enough to get any kind of a "read" on 'um..last 20 minutes or so most hands with five at the table..and two players I've played against before..have never gotten a "read" on either of them..on any given hand they could just call the "big"' pre-flop..or throw a pre-flop bet..push the pot..go all-in..they're a challenge to play..but the whole session boils down to one hand..had a King /Four in Diamonds..saw a min-pre-flop raise..flopped a King & a 3rd Diamond..called a raise of 12$..turn was the Queen of Diamonds..a raise that would put me all in..no straight draw or board pair..needed a King or a Diamond..called..& for once the river took pity on me..yup..Ace of Diamonds..& a very nice pot..the hour was approaching..had already made a couple of houses..was finally ahead a little..and on a table of four/five the odds of me winning a pot on a high card were slim & none and I heard Slim had just left town..ergo..got to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table & fled to the "lobby"..ergo....
