   A bit of an early start today....-4*F....-15*F w/wind-chill....clear skies....maybe 6" of new snow over night....but hard to tell....high winds and it was blown around a lot....
   I think it must be every poker players dream to sit down at a table and make the "nuts" right out of the gate....well it's mine anyways....but never seems to come true....
   Took my "seat" at a 1000/500 blind table....(again no room at a 200/100 blind table)....First hand pocket cards unsuited Ace/Jack (I'm in the big blind)....check....King/Queen on the flop....a small raise from one of the other players....and the thought crossed my mind....it will never happen...but I called....turn....a Ten....Ace high straight.... some raise/re-raise....and a very nice pot added to my stack....great table....just the occasional pot pushing and all-ins....4 to 6 players at the table...won a couple of blind pots, 2 split pots, a couple of small pots....and I was in the small blind....Queen/Two suited....if there had been a pre-flop raise....I might have folded....but no raise so just a smooth call....danged if thee flop didn't come 2 Ladies and a Deuce....got a bit of a scare when the turn and river came Nine/Nine....got into a brief game of "my pair is bigger than your pair"....and won another nice pot....ergo....30 minutes played....31 hands played....exited with 91,967$ I hadn't brought with me....(no slots played)....and off to play some Blackjack 21....
   Neither the great hands at the Poker table or my good run of cards at Blackjack 21 yesterday followed me today to a "chair" to play some blackjack....first table...."ghost table".....left without placing a bet....second table....a 2/3 table....one hand "heads up".....as opposed to yesterdays great run of cards....with just a couple of exceptions....a lousy run of cards....ergo....10 minutes played....16 hands played....4 winners....1 blackjack....1 push....1 double ( had a 2 card 11....dealer showing a 2....I doubled....got a 3....dealer hit to an 18....oy vey)....3 dealer busts....down 55$....only hand I won when the dealer didn't bust was the blackjack....and he had a 20....it was on the "heads up" hand.....
