Poker:[05:03]..took the awaiting drop [a double] for "44'K house money"..and went looking for a 1K/.5K table to put my 125K-max-but-in on..and again with the all too frequent problems getting a table..[05:11]...but found a table and with my arrival a four handed game..with in the first three hands had flopped a flush and a full boat..a couple of decent pots..except for a decent pot with trips..and a smallish pot when I rivered quad Bullets..the table went ice-cold..and adding to that was one of the most chaotic tables I can remember..a series of nth* pot-pushers/splashers..more often than not if somebody wasn't all-in pre-flop..they would be after the flop..normally I would have cut and run early..save for the fact that I'm on a "quest" for 50K+ hands played by years end..first battle two players I haven't seen before..both busted out multiple times..bounced right back and picked up where the left off..one point a new player made it a 3-way fight..and he eventually prevailed..but left soon after..on his "heels" with in a couple of hands two new players arrived..unfortunately I've been at the tables with both of them before..and knew that I needed to hunker down because the battle was about to begin..and the all-in..busting out and returning began..and they got others to play there game..[during the entire session it was at max a 5 handed game]..one guy with a few more hands played then me..literally bust all the way out..had checked his stats just before he busted out..and was gone..based on quick math..his total bank was so low he didn't have the 25K min-buy-in left..I just don't get why peeps play that way..well finally there was the last man standing..and a couple of hands me and he heads up..he 25'K pre-flop me fold..me fold..he gets the blinds..new blood and he willing took the mantle of "Table Captain"..and thankfully..my desire to play 100+ hands..was full-filled..got caught in the blinds..got to the button..but a hand I wanted to play..no joy..and exited from first position..ergo..61 minutes played..103 hands played..35.53 seconds/hand..[if not the fastest pace of play certainly one of the fastest..actually had 100 hands played in less than a hour]..6 winners..1 out of every 17.2 hands played..left 51,200$ on the table..[no slots]..at this point I'm more than willing to spend a little faux money to stay on pace for 50K hands..provided on end the day with a net gain in the Total Bank at the end of the day..
