Poker:[05:46]..a tad of a late start for me today..was up a little later than /usual..but for whatever reason off to play some poker..just a single drop for 22'K "house money"..add to that that I only have the possibility of one roulette spin today..and I would really hate it if I had to post a net loss at the end of the day..went looking for a table already in ultra-tight mode..[05:47]..placed my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt" of a 1K/.5K table..which became a four handed game with my arrival..would have preferred maybe a five or six handed game..easier to "hide"..but four handed seems to be the "magic" number for tables of late..and present was a nth* pot-pusher/splasher with a big pile of chips "on the table"..dang..for the greater majority of play it was a three or four handed game..briefly five handed..and a couple of hands "heads up"..and a pretty typical number of "coffee-breakers"..too many IMNSHO..because of their "hit and run style" I can never get a "read" on them..do they actually have a hand when they "splash the pot" or are they just about to leave..??..there were several bouts of "My pair is bigger then Yours' is"..what blows my mind is a couple were won with a "high card" a few more with a single pair..once "rivered" Threes..??..but one thing I will never understand is one a "peep" folds from the big blind when they could have see the flop for a simple check..??..now I admit it doesn't happen often but I've won a few times from the big blind with a check and rags in the pocket..I once flopped a full boat Sevens full of Twos..your chips are already in the pot..play the hand..session went just about as I had expected..got blow out of pots I really wanted to play by pre-flop-raises..would have won a couple of big pots but would have lost more than what I would have gained..did make a few quality hands..a flush..a couple full boats..and quad Eights..but not when there were significant chips in the pot..was hanging in there until late in the session when the table went cold..got my 100+ hands and ran..well except for paying to see the flop when I was about leave and was looking at Ace/Queen suited..missed the flop..ergo..63 minutes played..102 hands..37+ seconds/hand..11 winners..I for every 9.3 hands played..left -33,650$ on the table..[no slots]..
