"Poker":..[05:11]..as is my custom..out of the sack and off to play some poker..an awaiting single drop [no ad.] for 22'K..but knowing that the next drop was a roulette with a min-value of 66'K..figured I had or would have at least 88'K house money.."grabbed" 125'K and went looking for a 1K/.5K table to play some poker..and with what has become an all too typical thing..no joy..[05:16]..when I did find a table my arrival made it a four handed game..briefly both a couple hands "heads up" and a couple at 5 handed..but most hands a 3 or 4 handed game..seems to have become the typical situation..a slight delay and a max of 5 at the table..I wonder if for whatever reason the "house" has reduced table size..??..
For the first part of the session the table was dominated by a pot-pushing-splashing-table captain..oy vey..did manage to pick up a few scrapes on the few hands when he either folded pre-flop or rarely just called the big blind..did make one of my few half-way decent pots..trip Sixes on the board..[flopped..all three in a row]..checks all around..turn was a King..[just happened to have a cowboy in the pocket]..river a blank..Captain made a 5K raise..unless he had the 4th Six I had the "nuts"..I raised 2.5'K and the Captain folded..[he did have a singleton Ace]..after he departed..was for the most part a decent table..brief appearances by a couple of any-two-carders..a couple of Ace bets players..and the ever present [if only briefly] "coffee-breakers" and one kamikaze..but regardless I flat wasn't catching..and when I did all I got was small/blind pots..and again a crazy pace of play..and far too many blinds and paying to see and missing the flop..but got my 100 hands and left..but not before being caught in the blinds one last time..ergo..66 minutes played..107 hands played..37 seconds/hands..15 winners..one for every 7.1 hands played...left 32,175$ on the table..[9 goes at the "one armed bandit" for 1.4'K..net loss for the session..30,775$ [miss-estimated "house money"..hit the wheel for 330'K]..
