Poker:[05:11]..logged on to play some poker..a double drop awaiting me for "44'K house money"..a small off-line interruption..and went looking for a 1K/.5K blind table to put my 125K-max-buy-in on..[05:15]..my arrival made it a four handed game..all of the other players had the Old Madtrollie "covered"..ultra-tight mode engaged..but there were spots where I could get to play for a check/call of the big blinds or a min-pre-flop raise..and was able to "hold my own" for awhile..and just avoided the hands when the big stacks "went bump"..even if I have decent pockets..particular when one of them goes all-in pre-flop for 400K+..I'd fold pocket bullets..risk in my mind far out weighs the possible rewards..but then the board changed..and an any-two-carder arrived..got on a "hot streak" and morphed into a "Table Captain"..did manage to "catch" him once or twice for decent pots which a couple of straights..but not enough to compensate for the "wear & tear" of way to many blinds..paying to see the flop and missing..and a very brisk pace of play..when I was just a lad one of the toy companies released a talking doll [it had a pull string..to make it talk] the "Chatty Cathy"..a friend had one..and I found it very annoying..well today there was the poker equivalent of a "Chatty Cathy"..every hand flashing the trite "messages" that the game allows..multiple times..now I may rarely "flash" "great hand"..to another player..he was doing it to himself..or if he lost a hand would flash "good try"..apparently to himself..oy vey..and he also tipped the dealer..oy vey..his stay was thankfully a short one..[sigh of relief]..but the quest for 50K hands continues..and manage to stay well with-in the 44'K house money..did make a few quality hands..but not when there was any money on the table..got my 100+ hands [and 10K+ mission]..and made my exit..ergo..[[Pause]: another drop..another AARP ad..another 44'K]..71 minutes played..107 hands played..39.8 seconds/hand..14 winners..1 out of every 7.6 hands played..left 24,975$ on the table..[no slots]..
