"Poker":[05:13]..as is my custom logged on to play some early morning poker..watched an ad [don't ask me I zone most of them out]..and picked up 44'K house money..and with no delay either game or off-line got right on a 1K/.5K table with my 125K-max-buy-in..a table of four which quickly became a three handed game..varied up to briefly a six handed game..but averaged a table of four..2 big stacks..one of who would make either a large pre-flop raise..and if he didn't would push the pot after the flop..in one of the blinds can't remember which..got to play for a check/call of the big blind..King/Seven suited..and flopped top two pair..3 successive 9'K bumps..kept looking at the board..nothing had change except there was an over card to the middle pair..called all three times..the blind raccoon had a light meal and I had my 10K+ mission..as is typical of late the table in numbers and styles were constantly changing..some splashing of the pot by coffee-breakers or Ace and any pair in the pocket bets..an any two carder here a would be table captain there..but with few exceptions the majority of the players had 1K hands played or less..one player just a few hundred hands played less than me..and 10'M+ in his bank..had a 25K min-buy-in..??..I just don't get that strategy..but called almost every raise and was quickly out the door..max-buy-in gives you a little "wiggle room" to chase a little..maybe see a raise on decent pockets..and then get out if you miss..by playing my usual tight game managed to stay out of the way of the loose play..did lose a couple of small pots..but the "price was right" to call with a "show me how I'm beat"..but won more with the same tactic then I lost..[pause..another 44'K]..decided to play an hour..and right after that an nth* pot-pusher arrived..just stayed out of his way..got to the button..an hour played..now I had decent pockets and usual would have stayed and played..but didn't..ergo ..60 minutes played..78 hands played..46.2 seconds/hand..11 winners..1 out of every 7+ hands played..left with 30,750$ I hadn't brung with me..and a good day at the slots..7 tries..16.5'K into the bank..hit 3 cherries for 15K..
