"Poker":[05:03]..logged on to play some poker..had a drop awaiting..watched an ad..picked up 44'K [since then another drop..another ad..another 44'K]..a slight delay..for both on & off line issues..[05:07]..put my 125K-max-buy-in on the felt of a 1K/.5K blind table..a couple of hands "head up" other than that..numbers were in almost constant flux..from a three handed game to very briefly a 6 handed game..although all the usual suspects made an appearance..except no true kamikazes..the table was dominated throughout by 3 different players..all three were a hybrids of pot-posher, any-two-carder & continuation bets..some real fireworks occurred when two of the above mentioned were on the table at the same times..early I had managed to win 3 small/blind pots..and earn the 10K+ mission..but the drain of the blinds and paying to see the flop when I had good looks in the "hole"..only to miss or get blown off by a raise I wasn't willing to call,,was down a little but nowhere near my "44'K house money"..was approaching 30 minutes played..and was thinking of maybe an early exit..small blind..and I usually exit from the button..Jack/Ten suited..called a 2K bump to see the flop...Seven/Eight/Nine..all of different suits..in this situation..I had flopped the "nut straight"..pusher to my immediate left..5'K bump..smooth call..turn a blank but now two to a flush..25K bump..call..river another blank..no flush draw..no board pair..pusher went all in..the best he could have was either 2 pair..trips..or the bottom of the straight..an easy call of 83'K..almost put me all-in..but the blind raccoon found a small dumpster..no real money on the board..no really mega-pots during the session..a different pusher..was going to leave the next hand..had caught him a few times..flopped trips..saw the 3rd flush card on the river..but only an 8'K bump..and in a rare attitude for me decided I wanted him to show me the flush..which he did..lost about a 1/3 of what I had gained..but a call I would have made again..or rather will make again..now if it had been 25'K+ I would have folded..ergo..61 minutes played..79 hands played..46.3 seconds/hand..8 winners..1 out of every 8- hands played..and a decent result considering the low number of winners..took an extra 44,075$ from the table I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]..[next up a roulette spin..with chip in-hand]..
