..rolled out on the dot..04:00 & the typical morning offline routine completed off to check my 2 FB groups & emails & then off for my /usual morning of poker.. as/always grabbed the 2.5K$ awaiting "house money" & off to find a "Duck Pond" with a low average pot size..fits my preferred..small ball..slow play..trapping style..only open seats at a table with one other play..not in the mood for "heads up"..joined the waiting list on a table with an average pot around 100 chips..no what I'd prefer but the best option..waited less than a minute..(1st hand@:[04:37];)..anyways found myself in one of the lower levels of the abyss..on the vast majority of hands if it was a 2$ bump from an any-two-carder..it was a large one from a pot-pusher..a big splash from a dude/dudette with "pocket card syndrome" or a player on "full tilt"..in other words..your typical weekend table..3rd hand I played flopped a 4-TO a King high flush..which I turned & a 1/2-way decent pot..& about the 30 minute mark another decent pot with the "Jacks "N" Fives" (sorry) & somehow was slightly ahead of my buy-in...over the next 20 minutes..the game was pure chaos..many bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is" with as many as 4 in the "hunt"..other than a couple of checks while in the bid..didn't play a hand..did get a few good looks..but not willing to "pay the price" to call..(down about 15 chips)..last 10 minutes..a 3-way split of a small pot..2-pair & an Ace on the board..over the next few minutes won a couple of smallish pots & was just a couple of chips shy of my buy-in..got to the "button" on the hour..(had already check "sit-out next hand"..King/Three suited..2$ bump..flopped a pair of Threes..2$ bump..called..a blank..2$ bump..called..rivered the set..there was a play at table who would splash the pot on a hand like this on..no straight or flush draw..semi-buff..trying to "buy the pot"..at least that was my read..put him on that..made the call.. yup..semi-bluff..a nice pot & left for the "lobby" with an extra 80 chips I hadn't brung with me..but not an enjoyable day's play....[06:55 UTC-5}..../....
