Poker:[05:26]: had stayed up a little late last night..a "Tree-House-Masters" re-run..over slept..a quick National Grid ad.."44'K house money"..on tap today 7 drops/1 roulette spin..assuming I don't blow off a drop time..off-line issue..[05:29].."sat down" at was now a table of four then five..1K/.5K blind table and "put" my 125K-max-buy-in on the virtual felt..egad..right in the middle of an "end of session death match"..thankfully it was short lived..but just the same managed with both times two pair..2 blind pots..8'K..needed one more @3'K+ to get my 10K+ mission..[remember for a reason which baffles me in a "free" game..the "house" takes 5% of all pots..only thing I  can figure is the the software was from a "real cash game"..]..little did I know at the time what was about to happen..for the rest of the session..table size ranged from a 3 to a 6 handed game..and all the usual suspects made an appearance..coffee-breakers..pot-pushers/splashers [but not nth*s]..any to  carders..kamikaze and way too many dive-bombers..pocket singleton Ace or any pair bets..several players on "full tilt"..and multiple rounds of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..[pause..that &^%$ pendent ad again..but another 44'K]..but than wasn't the problem..I had one of the worst day's catching I can remember..it wasn't about not getting good looks in the pocket..had several decent looks..hands I was willing to pay a reasonable pre-flop to see the flop..and other than a small piece occasionally..missed..a couple of times I flopped or turned two pair and the river put 4 to a straight or flush on the board..and a huge bet in front of me..1 fold..and in one case not one but two others had hit the hand..never lost a big pot..avoided a big loss but just too many blinds and missed flops..but had "house money" left..small blind..2 pair Kinds/Tens..a small pot..left from the button..ergo..52 minutes played..54 hands played..57.8 seconds/hands..3 winners..1 out of every 18 hands played..oy vey..left 40,600$ on the table..9 spins at the one-arm-bandit for 1,300$..have had better days..

Spades:[05/05]...off to play poker..an insurance company ad..thankfully..a very short one..about the time of the five second ads on Youtube [hum]..44'K..[0506]..took a "chair" at a table that over the first 15 minutes of my session varied from "heads up" to a four handed game..with an nth* pot-pusher/splasher..and it seemed for a while that there  was an undying stream of players who'd call this raises..not me..some how managed to win three pots in brief lulls..had both missions under my belt and was thinking about heading for the exit..when I entered he had 700'K+ in his stack..which he had built up to just under 1'M..and another "gambler" arrived..within just a few hands..the first guy was down to 125'K +/-..and the  new guy about 900'K..then with two hands they both left..[sigh of relief]..over the rest of the session the "coffee breakers" took over the table..[many were the ladies I've see many times before..thankfully no "high heel" today]..mixed bag of any-two-carders..pot-pushers..pocket Ace or any two pair bets..pot splashing and a kamikaze or two..except for the ladies which I've seen many times before and have a good read on..no one was there long enough to get any can of a "read'..ultra-tight mood engaged..a few times had a decent hand and was not willing to call a big raise..now generally..most times I'd lose more than I'd gain by making the calls..except today..I laid done more winners than losers..dang..but today was an anomaly from my POV..and I ain't changing my style..did yesterday..but twice had "The Nuts" [quad Aces and a royal flush]..and would have called any raise..managed to stay right around my buy-in until the last 10 hands or so..hit a cold streak..another any-two-carder-pot-pusher and I headed for the door..ergo..75 minutes played..122 hands played..36.9 seconds/hand..22 wins..1 out of every 5.55 hands played..left 10,725$ on the table..[no slots[at the pace of play who had time for them]..[2nd drop..same ad..another 44'K]

Poker:[05:12]..off to play some poker..if all goes according to plan..the rotation today is 7 drops/1 roulette spin..watched an ad  and picked up the awaiting drop for 44'K "house money"..filled out my session worksheet..[05:14]..1K/.5K table w/ my 125K-max-but-in in-tow..as has become the norm of late a very fluid table in numbers of players..everything from "heads up" to briefly a six handed game..but for most hands it was a three or four handed affair..actually a decent table..not that much pre-flop nonsense..the occasional pre-flop splash when a player had a pocket Ace or any pair in the hole..and the brief stay by a kamikaze..and a couple of splashers from a player "on tilt"..some minor pot-pushing post flop..but on the hole a decent table..very little loose play..but with the numbers changing quickly..hard to get a "read" on  anyone..and the /usual flock of "coffee-breakers"..I rarely play the first had at the table but flopped Kings & Jacks...flop also had a Nine..other guy slow played..he had pocket Nines..dang..I returned the favor on the next hand..when  a Six on the flop tripped my pocket Sixes..a bit smaller pot but had my 10K+ mission on the 2nd hand..but my recent issue got me today..was getting a bunch of good  looks in the hole..flopped some decent hands..only to get rivered or lose the hand to a better kicker..and with one or two exceptions all my winners were small blind pots..the exceptions were just decent pots..blind raccoon couldn't find a dumpster..but with the pace of play..was surprised when I checked the time..and was approaching an hour played..a glance at my stats..might as well play a 100 hands..but the lack of a big pot and two may semi-bad beats..and way  too many blinds had taken their toll..got to the button..and left..ergo..70 minutes played..101 hands played..41.6 seconds/hand..19 winners..1 every 5.3 hands played..left 28,950$ on the table..[no slots]..[[07:49]:..another drop..another add..another 44'K]....

"Poker":[05:01]..got a pretty typical start this morning..logged on to play some poker..just a regular drop for "22'K house money"..but with the knowledge that the next free chip drop was a roulette spin..ergo..a minimum of 66"K..filled out the session sheet I always keep..[so I'm a stats nerd]..[05:03]..1K/.5K blind table w/my /usual 125K-max-but-in..[regardless of what blind table I play at I always select the max buy-in..]..and as has become the norm..a table dominated at least in numbers by the "coffee-breakers"..several hands "heads up" and briefly a 6 handed game..with numbers at  the table changing almost every-other hand..and not the fastest pace of play I've seen but quite fast..never really got a chance to check player stats..and difficult to get a "read" on the players..most just weren't there long enough..several any-two-carders..and continuation bets..a little pot-pushing..but mostly of the min raise variety..all things considered..not a bad table for my "slow play..small ball..trapping" style..and it wasn't that I wasn't getting good looks in the pocket..but the board for the most part was un-friendly..and for the majority of the time had a 50/50 call..and generally back away..except for one pot..the majority were small/blind pots..was down more that I like..just too many blinds..too many paying to see the flop and missing or catching the smallest piece..walked away from a wheel..Two to Five on the board after the river..I had Ace..big bet from the one player I had a "semi-read" on..decided to fold..he had a pocket Six..right before I left..looking' at Queen/Jack unsuited..in the small blind..had decided to leave from the button..called a 2K bump..dang if the flop wasn't Eight/Nine/Ten..any two carder keep pushing..I keep calling..river paired the board..another bump..again had a "semi-read" on him [any two carder]..he's trying to "buy" the pot I called..a a light meal for the blind raccoon..stayed one more rotation..made trips and a small pot..left from the button..[pause: spun the wheel for 330'K]..61 minutes played..99 hands played..[dang if I had looked would have played one more hand]..37 seconds/hand..20 winners..1 out of very 4.95 hands played..left 12.025 on the table..off day on the Slots..only 600$..[net loss: 11,425$]....
