Pokerist:..another day of poker(?)..picked up the awaiting "DB:"@2K$(1st day of the cycle) & checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 1.1'M$..nit"(ignore)..[2] "Win w/high card" &[3] "Win w/straight twice"..2$/1$ blinds fast clock table with five chairs..varying buy-ins..a couple of hands "heads up" but most hands were played with three to five players..most at four handed..no true kamikazes but that's not to say that there weren't several pre-flop all-ins or big splashes of the pot..in general a friendly table..some hands you could see the flop with a check/call of the blinds or a call of a small raise & there were some small/blinds pots won..on other hands there was pre-flop nonsense when a player had a pocket singleton Ace..pair ..connectors..paint or had just lost his stack on the last hand & came back on "full tilt"..I tried to both completed the two "Quests" I wanted & at the same time play my preferred "small ball.slow..trapping game..took my chair in a three handed game..3rd hand..pocket Ace..one player "sitting out".pocket Ace..took the pot & completed [2]..(huge sigh of relief)..was running hot for the first several minutes & had made a straight..& then the roof fell in..just wasn't catching..won a few hands here & there..but no decent pot..made a straight that would have me leaving for the "lobby" but lost it to a rivered full house ..had a few hands were I flopped 4 to the straight..but not 5th card arrived..past the hour mark..pocket connectors..first to act..called.."..flopped an "open ender" Six to Nine"(Eight/Nine "in the hole"..raise put me all-in..made the call..turn a blank but rivered the Ten &[3] completed..fold from the big..another player "sat out"..found myself on the "button".."waving bye-bye" to the table..ran to the "lobby w/2 completed "Quests" & more chips than I had brung with me..ergo....

Pokerist:..picked up the awaiting "DB:"@12K$..checked the "DQs"..[1] "Win 4x"..[2] "Win w/pair 2x"..&[3] "Win w/full house"..a wild typical weekend session..all the usual suspects made an appearance..expected..but way more "clock burners" than I would care to see..there again if I ever see a "clock burner: again..it will be too soon..oy vey..saw several "elites"..most of the "All-in/All the time" variety..2 different tables..both were 2$/1$ blinds w/five chairs..1st table..normal clock.."heads up" to a full table..a mix of friendly howbeit at times aggressive & Kamikazeville..due in large part to one of the aforementioned "elites"...actually held my "own" on this table..had completed [1]&[2]..before after a I found myself sitting with only the dealer..2nd..Murphy's Law(link) was in full effect..more often than not if I flopped or turned a good hand..the river got me..if there was a card that could beat me..a dude or dudette had it..I flopped or turned two 2-pair several times..with out ever seeing the card(s) that would have given me the "house"..made a set five different time..but no house..add to that the extra chips I had brung with me from the first table soon vanished & left a pile on the table when left..the 2 hour make past..decided enough was too much..played to the "button".."waved bye-bye" to the table &  crawled to the "lobby" [[note]: at this point I have no intention of another session in search of a house]..ergo....

Pokerist: I decided to take a stab at getting the "high card win" & the "DQ" that evaded me this morning.. only short table was a three handed game on a 2$/1$ table..normal play clock..nine chairs..which soon become a table of seven to nine..but  except for brief raids by kamikaze..was a friendly game howbeit very aggressive at times & for the longest time couldn't make a winning hand..was down nearly 200 chips ..but caught a couple of nice hands late and after 85 minutes & 68 hands played escaped to the "lobby" after "waving bye-bye" from the "button" with 27 chips more than I had brung with me..[results will be added to tomorrows stats]..../....

Pokerist:..logged on..collect awaiting"DB:"@10K$..check "DQs"..[1] "Win 770'K$ single hand "nit"..ya.. right..[2] "Win w/2-pair or lower 4x" &[3 "Win w/flush or higher 2x"\..find table..check..2$/1$ blinds fast play clock with five chairs..most hands were with three to five players..except towards the end of the session when there was a kamikaze afoot..play was extremely aggressive..a few hands here & there you could see the flop for a check/call of the blinds..or a small raise..but more often then not there was a pre-flop splash of the pot when a player had a pocket Ace..any pair..connectors or paint..and post flop there was one player who'd  pot push if he hit even a bottom pair..now there are day's that I've been able to take advantage of that style..but not today..I just flat wasn't catching..except for the occasional pot..so stayed out of the way as much as possible..had completed [2] relatively early in the session but [3]..(shakes his old grey head"..I had trouble making 2-pair..did make a straight & a set of Aces on the way..but no "qualifying" hands..a board set..with a Six & an Eight..Six on the river..I had a pocket Six.. another player went all-in..felt I had no choice..a split-pot house..a couple of hands later..pocket Ten/ Eight of Clubs..one Club in the flop..called a min-raise...another on the turn..another min-raise called.. yup..runner-runner flush..[3] completed..two  hands later..on the "button".."waved bye-bye to the table.. and ran for the "lobby" leaving a few chips I had brung on the table..[[note]:most of the below stats reflect just the morning session save for the "Bank" stats which reflect both session]..ergo....

Pokerist:..pickup awaiting "DB:"@7K$..check the "DQs" [1] "Bet 1.6'M$ nit"..actually did bet a total of 4K$..[2] "Win w/high card" &[3] "Win w/3-of-a-kind or higher 6x"..2$/1$ blinds..mostly 20$ buy-in..fast play clock..five chairs..very thing from "heads up"(never caught the right hand to completed[2]) to a full table of five..every possible style from a friendly game with small/blinds pots to a wild "Over the top all-in Battle Royales" with one pot in excess of 2K$..I had in a moment of insanity decided to play a 2 hour session..in which I found new ways to lose good hands..made a bunch of good 2-pairs or higher & more often then not got beat by a better hand & if the turn didn't get me..the river did..did managed to com-plete [3]..actually made eleven "quality hands"..& one was wacky..it was on a rare occasion for me where I had the rest of the players in the pot "covered"..won the top of the pot with a full-house & lost the bottom of the pot to a better house..ergo..I won a pot & picked up an "Epic Fail" on the same hand..(checked stats)..(shakes his old grey head)..got to the "button" "weakly waving bye-bye" to the table and dragged my weary tuckus to the "lobby" with empty pockets..ergo....
