[[From the Tables]: and another weekend magical mystery tour..oy vey..grabbed the house money..went looking for a "Duck Pond"..sat at an open table..took I look at the players..dang..a mega-pot-pusher I've been at table a couple times before..sat a couple of hands & left..2nd table..no familiar faces..but didn't take only a couple of hands to figure out there were 2 mega-pot-splashes at table..3rd table..a fairly friendly table..the occasional pre-flop small bump & the dude who went all-in a couple times when he had a pocket Ace or pair & some post flop aggression..but by-enlarge a friendly group of players..the board on the other hand was extremely unfriendly..within the first couple of hands won a smallish pot w/a full boat & after that before the run of sets only won 5 small/blinds pots with pairs..only lost one pot with any chips in the pot on a hand I flopped high 2-pair..runner-runner pot four to a straight on the board..a 25$ raise & I don't call into a four to a straight..fold..he had the straight..avoided the big loss but just not enough pots won & none with significant chips chip in-play..just another off day..../....

[[From the Tables]..as/usual..grab the "house money" & look for a "Duck Pond" to take a swim in & hopefully not nearly drown like I have the last couple of sessions..play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" at the very end of the session up to an including a six handed game..play was friendly for the most part with occasional aggressive play..some pre-flop raises but most were of the min or small variety..for the duration of my stay there was a big stack..his stack at any time was one side or the tother of 2K chips..first hand..flopped 4 to a straight.flush..straight flush..didn't hit a thing..probably played a doz hands or so before I won my first pot..a small one with a straight..another short lull & then within a few hands a very nice 250+ chip pot with an Ace high straight & a couple of hands later..old Anna Kounikova in the pocket..flopped "twins"..& turned the 3rd Ace..a nice sized pot..(other dude Kings full)..in total of the 11 pots..2 were with 2-pair..2 straights..3 flushes(one of them a "nut" flush..Ace on the board..King in the pocket) & 4 full boats(howbeit one was a split-pot board house..or is that boarding-house(hehe)) ..towards the end of the session twas me & the big stack "heads up"..just twasn't in the mood for "heads up" played a few hands..very friendly hands & against my usual policy of not leaving another alone at a table..checked "sit next hand" & departed..a very decent session for a change..../....

[[From the Tables]:..just another all to typical day of poker..unfortunately..the/usual grab of the "house money" found a "Duck Pond" with a resident ersatz pot pushing table captain & over the first six hands or so caught decent pockets & hit the flop & if in did lose to a rivered or runner-runner..flopped high 2-pair.. board paired on the river but a lower pair than either of mine..my high pair were Queens..yup..the other guy had pocket Kings..(shrugs)..busted out..did manage to play even the rest of the session stack-wise ..but just flat wasn't catching..or got pushed out of a pot when I would have hit a turn or river card..but thems the breaks..then an all-inner arrived..not necessarily pre-flop but somewhere throughout the hand ..short of an hour,,decided to try another table..ended up playing "heads up" with a dude with 2.5K$ in his stack..check/call pre-flop & if he hit the flop(?)..an all-in..didn't do it every time..the last hand I played I wished he had..pocket Fives..flopped the set..all I heard were the crickets..dang..anyways..left a tad short of an hour..but the cold streak continues..just am not catching enough good looks in the pocket & when I do more often than not the board is unfriendly to the Old Mad Trollie or more friendly to the other dudes or dudettes..(shrugs)..eventually it's got to swing back my way occasionally..doesn't it..besides it not like it's the rent money]..../....

[[From the Tables]:..my daddy used to say "My mama used to tell me I'd have days like this..but not every day..(usual punctuated with a shaken fist)..well Wilbur..another crazy one..grabbed the "house money"  & sat down in a "Duck Pond"..discovered quite quickly there was a kamikaze present..oy vey.. stayed longer than I should have..table#2..played ranged from a few hand\s  "heads up" at the end of my stay there up to an including a 6 handed game..no kamikaze but a pot pushing any to carding all-in occasionally after the river-er..yup..all rolled into one player..ah..& a brief appearance of 'Howie_Long" ..was down most of play but finally "caught" the aforementioned "pusher" got back to even & finally he got busted out..a several hands "heads up"..finally other "sat-out"..I left..a few minutes short of an hour so in retrospect mistakenly sat-down at another table..yup..another table..& 2 pot-pushers..had pocket Kings ..saw a 24$ raise..flop..blank from my POV..but not to the 2 pushers..another 24$ raise..I folded..a look at the clock.."sit out next hand"..don't known what would have happened if I'd called..the river put three to a straight or flush on the board..another raise..got a fold from the other pusher..no reveal..river card..well of course it was a King..oy vey...[just shakes his old grey head & walks away muttering to himself]..../....

[[From the Tables]:..another wacky day of poker..grabbed the "house money" & look for a "Duck Pond" to dive into..all full except for an empty table..sat-down..no one else showed..left..a spot at "Brooklyn Bridge"..sat down..after 2 hands got out of there..mega-pot-pushers..found a "Duck Pond" with two empty chairs..sat down((note):started the time played clock here):..play varied from several hands "heads up" to a full table of six..friendly howbeit at times very aggressive play..well that's until the two kamikaze arrived..won the first hand I was there 2 pair..(15 minutes later) within a couple of hands won pots with a full boat & then a set of Nines..(but was down a bunch of chips..just wasn't catching)..& then the kamikazes..sat-out for the next 1/2 doz. hands or so..in their wake..several hands "heads up"..now I was catching..won 8 small/blinds pots..4 with flushes..(shrugs)..was left alone..found another "Duck Pond"..now I've been at table with this guy before..is he the "real".."Howie_Long" or not..doesn't matter..a very interesting style..sits quietly..but if he catches decent pockets it "all-in"..played some decent poker here..caught some nice hands & made a few decent pots..a flush & a house along the way..pocket Anna Kounikova suit..flopped an Ace & turned a King..& won a pot with "Twins"..made a good fold late..had flopped trips but river put 4 to a straight on the board..big raise before me..no thank you..fold..left a couple hands later on the hour..checked stats..ended up a single chip ahead..[just shakes his old grey head..../....
