[[From the Tables]..logged on..grab "house money"..dive into a "Duck Pond"..as/always..play varied from three to six handed pre-flop..but thereafter most hands were with no more than four players & many with only two players left in the hand..very few friendly pots..three styles were play..loose..looser & loosest ..dang..no true kamikaze but it was a pot-pusher holiday..a typical hand..maybe you could see the flop for a check/call of the big or a small raise..after the flop..one player would make a 12$ or higher raise..he might get a call or two but many times the rest of the board would fold..lost count on how many 4-TOs I mucked because the price to pay to see the turn was too high..it wasn't that I wasn't getting a decent amount of decent pocket cards..or getting a piece of the turn..just not a big enough piece to warrant a call..two hands stand out..early was getting decent hole cards..was getting a piece of the flop..was willing to call a bet..but turn/river were not cooperating..Ace/Nine suited..(down around 100 chips)..paired the Ace..a bet before me would put me all-in & I freely admit out of frustration made the call & was beat..his hole Ten beat my Nine..well Wilbur..until the river was a Nine..[shrugs]..late in the session..pocket Ladies ..missed the flop but a friendly hand..just a small raise..called..turned the set..another small raise..call-ed..four handed I'm on the "button"..2 checks & then an all-in..what..the river did put a 3-TO a straight on the board..was he bluffing..??..folded..so did the other two players..so will never know..but..for me it was the right call..the other two pots won..both small/blinds 3-handed w/a high card & a flush..got to the "button" up 6 chips & retreated to the "lobby"..../....

[[From the Tables]..the /usual routine..grab the "house money" & dove into a "Duck Pond"..but what I found was a "Brooklyn Bridge" masquerading as a "Duck Pond"..a couple of any-two-carders..only rarely could you see the flop without calling a 2$ bump & I checked my calendar to see if this was a Monday holiday somewhere..the preceding 2 days had played without playing at a typical "weekend" table..but got one today..except after the flop no "heads up" but on any given hand three to six players..no true kami-kaze..but there were a couple of "pocket kamikazes"..Ace..any pair or paint & they were all-in pre-flop & usual found a  "dive bomber" or two to join-in..pot pushing on most hands otherwise..pure insanity reigned..I sat-down..first hand..pocket King/Jack in Clubs..flop was King/Jack/Ace..last to act..called a 10$ bump..turn a blank..called a 25$ bump..three to the river..a Queen..dang..a 4-TO & me without a Ten..but 2 checks in front of me & a nice pot..at that point just the any-two-carders & the pot-pusher.. soon the pocket kamikazes came..dang..did win two more pots & split a pot..made a decent pot with Eights full of Sixes & another decent one with a set of Ladies..a a smallish cut on a spit-pot 2-pair..never lost a pot when I had significant chips in play..but just the wear "n" tear of having to pay to play when you had a decent had..got to the "button"..still up marginally..decided enough was enough & left for the "lobby"..../....

[[From the Tables]..logged on for my /usual morning session..grabbed the 2.5K$ awaiting "house money" & dove into a "Duck Pond" & to my great surprise & relief found a table that fit my preferred..small ball..slow play..trapping style & on a weekend to boot..a friendly table..no "heads up" except after the flop..a three to six handed game but the majority of the hands were with four players & only a brief stay by a clock burner..very little pre-flop nonsense..a smallish pocket re-raise here & there..some contin-uation betting(2$)..some pot pushing & the occasional bout of "My pair's bigger than Yours' is" but by-enlarge at very nice place to play..had played maybe a half dozen hands or so before..in the "big".. Seven/Three suited..saw the flop for a check..paired both pockets on the flop..just called a 2$ bump.. turned Sevens full of Threes..re-raised a 5$ bump..turn a blank..got into a brief bout of "My pair's....nice pot..twice had pocket Bullets..flopped the set the first time & turned it on the other..decent pots..made smallish pots with 2 straights..a smallish & a decent one of two flushes..had flopped a flush but river (2 in the hole) but river put a 4-TO on the board..decided that the re-raise was too much.."read" on the dude was he wasn't a "bluffer"..folded it..[earlier]..only lost a pot with any significant chips in the pot..flopped a Ten high straight..turn put a Jack on the board..& after the river..the aforemention "dude" made a big re-raise on the river..stupidly..made a snap call..dummkopf..lost to the higher straight..hence the above mentioned fold..save for that one dumb call played very good poker throughout the session..the hour had past..on the "button" (checked sit-out hand)..folded rags & left for the "lobby"..../....

[[From the Tables]: as/always grabbed the awaiting "house money" & dove into a "Duck Pond"..totally expecting a typical "weekend session" of kamikazes..pot pushers & any-two-carders..but not today..for the greater part it was a "friendly table" with little or no aggressive play..a 2$ bump here & there..any combination from "heads up" to full table..but 6 handed was rare..three to five handed were the "rule of the day"..there was a brief period when a pot-splasher was there & 2 other players played along..but the real problem with this table was there was always at least one "clock burner" & at times three or four.. dang..it was like watching paint dry..one hand was three to the flop..the Old Trollie..both of the others burnt clock pre-flop & every phase there after..I'd flopped top 2-pair..oy vey..now while the pot splasher was there..I'm on the button a four handed game..Ace/Eight unsuited..just a 2$ bump..flop 2-Kings & an Ace..& the splasher fires a 25$ raise..got 2 calls..now at least one of these dude is probably betting the board..but one of them probably has a King or an Ace..maybe both..a reluctant fold..well Wilbur..the funny & games continue to the river..one's all-in & another nearly all-in..the winner..a Seven came on the river..yup..pot winner Kings & Sevens..[just shakes his old grey head]..all three of them were playing the board..good grief..I'm sorry but that ain't playing poker..had been staying marginally up most of the session but a cold patch towards the end & left 9 chips on the table..as/always the hour had past..got to the "button" [sit-out  next hand] called the big w/Queen/Two suited in Hearts..didn't catch a Heart nor a pair in the flop  & made my exit..../....

[[From the Tables]..the /usual routine..grab the 2.5K$ "house money" & dove info a "Duck Pond"..#s at table varied from four to a full table of six..but there were only a couple of hands where there were more that three or four after the flop..most hands were three or for handed w/several only two to the river..no kamikaze(aka:all-inners/all the time)..a few big splashes pre-flop for pocket cards..some any-two-carding but mostly 2$ bumps..some continuation betting & post pushing..but for the most part a friendly table.. with limited aggressive play & as what seemed to be the trend of late..the Old Trollie wasn't catching..now even that said..I have done okay because when I did catch I've been making a decent percent of quality hands(qh)..well this session I'd played over 50 minutes & hadn't made one..?? ..early I was catching just enough decent hands & enough small blind pots to stay one side or the tother of my buy-in..but hit a cold streak & was done nearly 50 chips & then the hour approaching..King/Ten suited..resident any-two-carder whom I've been at table with before..pre-flop 2$ bump..called..had a Queen/Jack/Eight..a 4-To the straight & 3-To a flush..he bumped 2$..but because of my "read" on him..I re-raised 2$..he & another called..flopped the Ace..(no flush draw)...he raised 10..3rd played fold..I re-raised 10..got a call..river a blank..he checked..wasn't greedy..raise 2$..got a fold..& recovered most but not all of my losses..made one more pot with a 2-pair..got to the "button"..folded rags..& departed..okay I left 8 chips on the table but could have been far worse..played ultra tight & never lost a pot with any significant number of my chips in play..../....
