[[From the Tables]..a typical start to my day..out of the sack around 04:00..the /usual morning offline rituals completed..logged on to the net..checked my two FB groups & emails & then off to play some poker..as/always picked up the awaiting 2.5K$ "'house money" & went looking for a "Duck Pond" to "dive into"..I prefer to play a small ball..slow play..trapping style & the 2$/1$ blinds "Duck Pond" fits the bill as it were..also I prefer a 6 chaired table rather than the 9 chair tables for the reasons stated above..also always check the average pot size..the lower the average is the less likely there are pot-pushers or all-inners afoot..couple of options this morning..decided to take a chair at a table with 4 players & the "Duck" was there..(during the course of play "MIR" & the last couple of hand "A" made an appearance)..for the greater part of the session it was a table of four to six players & for the first half of the session it was a friendly game..very few pre-flop raises except for the occasional 2$ bump & a little min-raise continuation betting..wasn't catching that many hands but managed to stay one side or the tother of my buy-in..then.. a pot splashing player arrived..got caught a couple of times (not by me..just folded & watched from the cheap seats) & than went on "full tilt" & went kamikaze..oy vey..got busted out & didn't return..during that time had folded a couple of hands I really wanted to play..pocket Jacks once..I just don't play that way ..okay if they had been pocket Aces..??..a brief return to the friendly game & I flat couldn't catch a hand & then for the last 15 or 20 minutes or so a succession of mega pot-pushers arrive..just throwing chips at the pot..a couple of those big pots were won by a rivered pair..begs the question.."What in the world were they betting on?"..just mindless IMNSHO..(just shakes his old grey head)..I'm not sure what game they're playing but it dang sure not poker..don't get it twisted..they have the right to play that way..but please.. take it to another table..[end rant]..once I realized that that style of play was going to dominate for the foreseeable future..looked at the clock..hour was approaching..played twice to the "button"..no pocket Aces..& with a "cu" to "A"..departed....[06:31 UTC-4]..../....

[[From the Tables]..awoke about the /usual time..resisted getting out of bed..a look at the weather..up 30s F all-day..rain here but in the upper elevations to the east of us..snow..the usual offline morning routine completed..checked email & my 2 FB groups & off to play some poker..pocketed the awaiting 2.5K$ house money & went looking for a "Duck Pond"..all the available chairs were on tables with a average pot size I try to avoid..there was an empty chair at one of them & "B" was at table so sat myself down..(1st hand@:[04:47]:)..for most of the session there were 4 to 6 players at table..but post flop numbers varied wildly..some hands you could see the flop for a check-call of the "big" or a small bump but there were a couple of players with ye olde "pocket card syndrome" so big splashes pre-flop were not uncommon..we had a succession of pot-pushers wander thru..multiple rounds of "My pairs bigger than Your's is"..at times with 3 or 4 players in the "ring"..one of whom had a habit of splashing the pot post river & I suspected him of a semi-bluff..trying to "buy the pot"..obviously a look at the "pots/hands played stats will tell you I wasn't in general catching but I did walk away with 388 chips I hadn't brung with me..I'd won a smallish pot early with an Ace high flush..a couple of hands later..pocket Ladies..flop put a pair of Sevens on the board some minor pushing (a four-way bout)..turn didn't change the board at least from my POV..some more minor pushing & the 3rd Lady joined the party on the river..a raise for 25 chips..I  re-raised..got a couple of calls & doubled up..then board went cold..along the I did win a couple of pots with 2-pair & one with a Jacks full of Tens..a three Jack flop..got a Ten on the turn (1 in the hole) but all three were of the small blinds variety..just before I "booked-it".."big" to my right..had a six in the pocket & flopped a pair..decided to call a 10$ bump..turned the set of Sixes..another 10$..call..river did put a 3-TO a straight on the board..the suspected "pot buyer" bet enough to put me all-in..but would have had to have the right two connectors in the hole..another player..might have folded..called & doubled up..next three hands he went on full-tilt..all-ins pre-flop & got caught again..got to the "button" with a cu to "B"..left for the "lobby"....[07:06 UTC-4]...../....

[[From the Tables]..awoke about the /usual 04:00..morning offline routine attended to..a first check-in on my FB groups..had one FB removed comment  to deal with & off to play my morning round of poker.. pocketed the awaiting 2.5K$ & looked for a "Duck Pond" (as/always)..no low average pot size on any of the tables..saw "A" at a full table & "MIR" at a table with an empty chair..decided to seat there..(1st hand@:[04:45]:)..yup..a nest of pot pushers..won a 1/2 way decent pot w/ a Kings full of Queens full-boat..but after that just stayed out-of the way & only called a reasonable pre-flop raise with paint..pair ..ace or suited connectors & didn't hit a flop..thankfully the table changed & a friendly game ensued ..during the course of play mucked 2 straights..both times hand bottom card..not worth the call (high-end card won both)..later turned a ten high straight (Nine in the hole)..river put a Jack on the board..a couple of all-ins in front of me..thought about it..but I was only beat if one of the others had a Queen/Nine in the hole..besides it's hard to lay a hand like that down when all that's at risk in faux money..called..of course ..busted out..was doing okay on the second buy-in..all small blind pots & just before I booked it a kamikaze arrived..had several pockets I really wanted to play but didn't..almost called with Ten/Nine suited..didn't..would have won the pot with a turned flush & would have turned trip Sixes (2 in the hole) & another pot..but than as we would of said back in the day.."If could've..should'vs & would've..were did..We'd all be Kings"..just another wild & crazy day on "Replay Poker"..got to the "button"..folded an Ace/Five unsuited to a pre-flop splash & stumbled to the "lobby"..light-pocketed again..I know you can't win 'um all..but..oy vey....[07:06 UTC-4]..../....
