Poker:[05:04]: as is my custom logged on to play some poker..if I kept up with drops/roulette..a 7 drop/1 roulette spin day..took the awaiting drop w/ad for "44'K house money"..a slight off line delay..and on the second try [05:08]..took my "chair" at a 1K/.5K blind table..w/my 125'K-max-buy-in..my arrival made it an 8 handed game..at times as few as 4 players..after a "mass exodus" [aka:a multiplayer all-in]..but was always back to a seven or eight handed game..a wild..crazy..insane table where "loose play" was the style of the day..had to keep track of the stats of the players..some weren't around long enough for me to check..except for a couple most of the players were of the 2500 hands played or less variety..oy vey..if that's the style of play that is going to dominate..especially on a "full table"..I may have to consider moving up to a 2K/1K blind table..I can "handle" it on a short table [5 handed or less]..but..a full table..??..in a brief lull is the mayhem a five handed game..pocket Kings..board paired..but my two pair prevailed..a small pot..but not enough to complete the 10K+ mission..if it wasn't a kamikaze, an any-two--carder, a pot-pusher/splasher or a pocket Ace or any pocket pair bet..it was the player who lost the last hand and was "on tilt"..or the player who just bounced back by way of auto-re-buy..and also was "on tilt"..and the worst of it was I had a few really nice looks..and would have made quality hands..if I hadn't got blow off by a pre-flop all-in or a raise I was unwilling to call..so I just stayed out of the way..did flop a King high straight..an Ace on the river..now four to a flush..a huge bet..and I walked..would have lost to flush..dang river..but knew I was one blind/small pot from the 10K+ mission..was no where near exhausting my "44'K house money"..but the hour played was approaching so decided to play to the "button"..and leave..small blind..King/Five suited..decided to call a 2K bump..missed the flop and turn but paid both times a 1K bump to "chase"..an open board..no straight..flush or board pair..a five on the river..another 1K bump..another called..almost folded..and then realized that my pair of Fives was middle pair..on the board were a Two and a Three..for a K..why not..and my pair of Fives were good..got the mission and left from the button..ergo..64 minutes played..55 hands played..69.8 seconds per hand..only the two winners..left 15,200$ on the table..but..hit 4 out of 7 on the slots..twice for 200$, once for 400$..and the first go at the one-armed bandit..3 bunches of grapes for 10K..so a net loss for the day a reasonable 4,400$..

Poker:[05:20]: logged on to play some poker..took the ad-less awaiting drop for 22'K..but with the knowledge that next chip action was a roulette spin..min-value 66'K..so 88'K house money..I hate day-end net losses..so always try to bet within the limits of what I expect to take from the day's drop/roulette cycle..to me the game within the game is as important as the poker is..some days maybe more..off to find a table..no joy..off to fulfill my modding duties at the "The Farthest Side"..back..no like..trips to play some solitaire and then [06:02]..a 1K/.5K table on which to plop my 125K-max-buy-in..a very fluid table with as few as 4 players..[after the top stack won a 5-way all-in with a set of Ladies]..up to briefly a nine handed game..many hands you could see the flop with a check/call or a call of a min-raise..and on other hands a pocket Ace or any pair would cause the pot to be splashed pre-flop..and several hands ended with multiple players all-in..had one hand that got "away"..suited Nine/Seven..got in for a check/call of the big blind..flopped four to a straight..turned the straight..called a min-bump after both the flop/turn..but had the "low end of the straight" but the river pot a King and four to the straight on the board..if someone had a Queen in the hole I was beat..30'K+ raise from the big stack..a call from another player..debated..and decided to fold..danged if the big stack didn't also have a Nine/Seven in the hole..would have been a split post..but some gain..but just couldn't pull the trigger..then a nth* pot-splasher arrived..decided to play to the button and exit..small blind..Queen/Eight in Hearts..paid a two K bump to see the flop..flopped 4 to a straight..3 to a straight flush and 4 to the "nut flush"..a 4K bump..and with a what the hey last hand thought..called..turn a blank..another 4K bump..but last hand..call..a Five of Hearts and the "nut" flush..first to act..a check..remember I love to slow play..no board pair..but now 3 to a straight flush..and 4 to the straight..and then dummkopf..no straight/flush when you've got the Heart Eight..called a 53'K bump..a 3-way pot..and after days of failure the blind raccoon finally found the dumpster..but the plan to leave on the button was still the plan..ok..I did call a 2K bump to see the flop..Ace/Jack of Clubs in the pocket..but when I missed the flop made my exit..35 minutes played..35 hands played..1 minute/hand..just the one winner..left with an extra 143,175$ I hadn't brung with me [no slots]..and as for the roulette spin..1,760'K [w/chip]..

"Poker":[05:14]: logged on as is my custom first thing in the morning to place some poker..took an awaiting drop w/ad for  "44'K house money"..and as has become far to common.."table is full"..of to take a first look of the day at "The Farthest Side" [where I'm a mod]..vetted a few  new member request and back to poker..[05:33]..1K/.5K blind table..put my 125K-max-buy-in on the "table"..and with  my arrival made it an eight handed game..and except for the usual comings and goings it remained a seven or eight handed game through out the session..and except for just before I left it remained a decent table for  my style..except for the occasional splashing of the pot by a pocket Ace or any pocket pair bet..the majority of the time you could see the flop for a check/call of the big blind or a min-pre-flop raise..when I arrive he was the big stack..average around 250'K..except one when the showdown reveled pocket Jacks..he always check/called the big blind pre-flop..or any min-raise..sometimes he'd min-raise after the flop..sometimes not..didn't take long for me to figure out..a raise he got a piece of the flop..check..he didn't..one hand no raise after the flop..but raised after the turn..a Seven..sure enough..he had a pocket Seven..easy "read"..caught him once..had an unsuited Ace/King..not in a blind but played it for a call of the big blind..flop a Nine,Seven,King..ah top pair top kicker..he min-raise..a smooth call..turn and river both Fives..but since he had made a post-flop raise figured he didn't have a five in the hole but one of the three flop cards..called post river and a small meal for the blind raccoon..but for the most part I just wasn't catching..only one other hand..Eight/Seven unsuited..in the big blind..got in for a check..flopped another Seven..and turned the set..another light meal for the blind raccoon..but for the most part just stayed out of the way..just wasn't catching..45 minutes played was fast approaching and had decided to extend..and like magic..a pot-splasher/kamikaze arrived..with 125K-max-buy-in..all-in..busted out..and twice more..and then he doubled up+..and then the pre-flop big raises started..got to the button and left..ergo..46 minutes played..34 hands played..81.2 seconds/hand..only the two aforementioned winners..but..left with an extra 24,675$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]..[since then another 44'K drop]..

Poker:[05:07]..another day..another early trip to play some poker..another irrelevant ad..another 44'K house money..and then the "fun" began.."table is full..a trip to "The Farthest Side".."table is full"..a trip to "Just Solitaire"..ditto..repent..and finally [05:40]..put my 125K-max-buy-in..on the "felt" of a 1K/.5K table..a full table..never less than five handed [after a 5 way all-in] but always back to a seven or eight handed game..but at least for the first part of the session you could see the flop for either a check/call of the big blind..or a min-pre-flop raise..the only interruptions were from a pocket Ace or any pair better..and a would be table captain/pot pusher..he'd bet pre-flop..he had a hand..one problem..he was to my immediate left..so more often not I "acted" before him..my problem was if I got to see the flop even with decent pockets..best I did was catch a small piece of it and get blown off the hand by someone with a bigger piece..or I'd catch pockets I dearly wanted to play..and get blown off the pot by a major pre-flop by our resident Ace/pair bets..good grief..for the vast majority of the first 60% of the session most of the players were rooks [under 1K  hands played..]..but then an old nemesis arrived..he's played about 6K hands more then me..I'm a 25 rank..he's a 48 rank..I raise .3% of the time..he raises 11+% of the time [rank is unfortunately for me weighted heavily in favor of the aggressive player]..he has one style..he goes all-in every hand [25K-min-buy-in]..on any-two-cards..until he wins a few pots..at some point around 50K to 100K in his stack he starts splashing the pre-flop pot to the tune of 15K or more..now I've see this tactic not work on a short table..but on a full table..it seems there always players willing ride along..oy vey..and despite the fact that I hadn't won a pot..realized that with that style being played..I wasn't going to..waited awhile..he remained so I exited..ergo..45 minutes played [and yes I did leave from the button]..36 hands played..75 seconds/hand..left 17K on the table..but with 9 goes at the one armed bandit netted 1.8'K [another 44'K drop with a roulette spin in about 20 minutes]

"Poker":[05:34]..got up a few minutes later than the usual norm..but the "fog" was deep this morning and just didn't get it going right off..had a roulette spin awaiting..spun the wheel and hit for 198'K "house money"..and went looking for a 1K/.5K blind table..on which to place my 125K-max-buy-in..took a few minutes and a few rejections..[05:37]:and I finally landed in an eight handed game..and immediately shifted into ultra-tight-mode..stay out of the way..and pick your spots to engage..what I found was a table looking for an identity..very erratic..except for brief times when an nth* pot-pusher was there and a 5K+ pre-flop raise on almost every hand..plus even larger continuation bets..I couldn't get a handle on the style..it changed hand to hand or so it seemed..ah..the nth* pot-pusher..built his stack to 400'K+..lost 2 hands in quick succession..went "on tilt"..and was out the door w/ziltch..for the most part on the rare occasions that I actually had playable pocket cards..I'd either get blow off the pot by a pre-flop-raise I wasn't willing to call..or flat missed the flop..actually laid down pocket Aces..as fate would have it..would have rivered the "nut flush"..but would have had to "chase" and be all-in to see the river..just not the way I play..just not my personality..I was in the past a very good miniature war-gamer..mostly Napoleonic Wars, ACW & Battle-Tech..but had a rep as a defense play and it was well deserved..same way I play poker..and there were other decent pocket cards that if I hadn't folded to a big raise I would have been out the door..didn't really get to "play" very many hands..but never did catch the right hand at the right time..never lost a big pot but never even got one pot..got skunked today..just way too many pot-pushers, any two carders and pocket Ace or any two pair bets..add to that very few decent looks in the "hole"..not my day..played my 45 minutes..the "new target time" and left..ergo..45 minutes played..41 hands played..[with brief exceptions was a 6 to 8 handed game throughout]..got skunked..left 30,500$ on the "felt" [no slots]..[1st drop of the day a single for 22'K]..
