Poker:[03:54]: a bit of an early start but I'm going to be off-line for most of the evening..family get-together..picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side trips]..:[04:46]:..four tables..all of the 1K/.5K blinds variety..all four risked the /usual 125K-max-buy-in..play varied from a couple of hands "heads up" to a five handed game..but unlike tables of late there were a lot more hands at four or five players at the table..hard to pick an average but best guess would be a 4 handed average..there might have been a brief one and done visit by a kamikaze..??..other then that..first two tables we tolerated a couple of ersatz "table captains"..but other than that..a couple of any-two-carders..some pot-pushing/continuation betting..a bunch of pocket singleton Ace/any pair or paint bets..and a couple of bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..but by-enlarge except for the first two tables..very little crazy/loose play..and a environment more conducive to my "small ball/slow play/trapping style"..and with many four/five handed hands..it was easier to stay out of the way and not spend a lot of hands "in the blinds"..out of the 14 pots I won 5 were with quality hands..2 straights/2 flushes[one was the a "nut flush" & the other I flopped] & a full boat..Queen/Nine suited..flopped a set of Nines and the Queen joined the cruise on the river..only on slight problem..every pot I won was of the small/blind variety..although especially on the last two tables I was "catching" just never when there were any significant number of chips in the pot..but all things considered a very enjoyable session..well..except for that dang "Grim Reaper"..who got me four times..twice with decent hands and chips in the pot..had the 10K+ mission on the first table..[claimed] & the 16 hands on the second.."The Reaper" got me on the first table with 15 hands played..[claimed the 16 hands after the second table]..ergo..:[stats]:..42 minutes played..53 hands played..14 pots..1 for every 3.79 hands played..left with an extra 4,450$..I had not brung with me..took seven goes at the "one armed bandit" hit 3 watermelons for 12.5'K and a couple other smaller wins for a total of 13.6'K..and a total for both tables & slots of: 18,050$..a decent day indeed....[edited:14:46 UTC-4]....
