Poker:[04:17]:..took the awaiting on the old roulette wheel(s/chip) & hit for the "Top of the Mar".."880K house money"..[the usual side-trips to take time off the "drop clock"]:[05:15]..five tables..all were of the 1K/.5K variety..anted my 125K-max-buy-in on all five..play varied from "heads up" to briefly a six handed game..but the vast majority of the hands were played with three or four players..except for the first table where I played one hand..saw the pocket cards & got immediately kicked by the "Grim Reaper"..the other four tables were a mix of styles and play..of the 11 pots I won..10 were "blind pots" and the other..the last hand I played was just a small pot..but there were outbursts of loose play on all four..a classic prolonged battle of several hands of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is" between two of the more aggressive "Ladies of Poker"..a series of all-ins on other tables from players who lost a big hand and went on "full tilt"..a couple of any-two-cards..some continuation betting..and of course the splash of the pot when a player had a pocket Ace/any pair/paint..and once when I saw his pocket cards at the reveal..I can only speculate he did it on a whim..Nine/Six..unsuited..??..did I mention outbursts of loose play..and except for a straight and a flush..caught no other quality hands..just flat wasn't catching..fifth table..a very persistent continuation bettor..rarely raised pre-flop..but a min-raise after flop/turn& usually river...finally flopped a nice to 2 pair Jacks "n" Five(s)..hit both hole cards..my only pot other that a "blind" one..a small one but a start in the right direction..and as the chips were coming my way..a rude visit from the "Grim Reaper"..his 5th visit of the day..decided enough was enough..ergo..:[stats]:..43 minutes played..101 minutes off the drop clock..11 pots..1 for every 4.64 hands played..left 8,595$ on the tables..200$ from 5 goes at the "old one-armed-bandit"..all things considered play some decent poker in that I limited the damage on a day I wasn't catching and on boards not really compatible with my preferred "small ball/slow play/trapping style....[edited:[19:20]]....
