Poker:[04:25]..logged on & picked up the awaiting drop(w.ad.) for "44K house money"..[the usual side trips to run time off the drop clock]:[05:19]:..four tables..all of the 1K/.5K blinds variety..and as/usual plunked my 125K-max-buy-in down on the "felt"..except for the fourth table all the other three were pretty similar..a bit of pot-pushing/continuation betting..an occasional splash pre-flop on a pocket Ace or any pair..a few bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..one of which was won with a high card..another with a rivered small pair..and an any-two-carder or two..first table..wasn't catching but did manage to make one quality hand for the only pot I made at that table out of 10 hands played..small blind..Nine/Two suited..usually wouldn't have played that hand but got to see the flop for a call of the big blind..flopped the two pair..called a min-raise..turned Nines full of Twos..again called a min-raise..river..[3 handed..first to act]..decided to just "test" the others..raised 2.5K [min-raise]..got two calls..got a visit from the "Reaper"..second table..again not really catching..only 3 pots out of 13 hands played..only one quality hand..a four handed game..on the button with an Ace/Nine unsuited..flop had a pair of Aces..and an any-two-carder & min-raise continuation bets..turn a blank but rivered the second Nine..re-raise the min-bet and got 2 calls..a couple of small/blind pots w/a pair/2 pair..and again the "Reaper"..third table was catching better..won 5 pots out of 14 hands played..Nine/Eight suited a flopped the Nine high straight..and "took advantage of" another any-two-carder..3rd of the 5 pots..others 1 pair and three 2 pair..again the "Reaper"..[had claimed the 10K after the 1st table..and the 16 hands after the third]..was up marginally on the day..thought about calling it a day..didn't but in retrospect..4th table..1 pot on a pair out of 15 hands played..3 major problems..I never caught the right hand at the right time..and not one but two tournament style players..periodic pre-flop splashes..more that min-continuation bets..just a nightmare..I've mentioned before I have a disorder called essential tremor..I was in a hand..went to click "check/fold"..hand shook..missed the button to the left..and found myself in the lobby..[the Mad-One can be seen scratching his old grey head]..??..don't have guess one what happened..ergo..:[stats]..29 minutes played..83 minutes off the "drop clock"..52 hands played..11 pots..1 for every 4.73 hands played..left 1,600$ on the forth table..[no slots]....[edited 19:20]....
