Poker:[05:18]..my routine is to first thing log on to Poker and then do other things for a hour+/- to run time off the drop..the usual side trips..logged on to Poker to play and at that point discovered I had failed to log on in the first place..oy vey..sometimes I can be such a dummkopf..but belatedly picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..four tables..all 1K/.5K blinds and each time anted my 125K-max-buy-in...from "heads up" to one the third table..briefly a 6 handed game..there was no consistent pattern to play..many of the hands were very "quiet" no pre-flop nonsense and maybe a small raise after the river...and the others..a couple of strong raids by kamikaze..all-ins form players on "full tilt" after losing a big pot..or being down to their last few chips..pocket Ace/any pair splashes..pot-pushing/continuation bets..and the occasional bout of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..an a few of the "Ladies of Poker" stopped by..but by-enlarge although I did catch a couple of quality hands..made a set three times and rivered a straight..all the pots I won were of the small/blind variety..and not enough to cover the almost constant drain from just too many times in the blinds..or being rivered out of a small/decent pot..and then there was the hand when I was on the button..looking at pocket Aces..a four handed game..2nd to act..called a 1K min-raise from one of the short stacks..big blind went all-in..another 15K..now normally I would have folded..even with pocket Bullets..but for 15K..and pocket Aces..decided to make the call..board paired..and the all-inner rivered a straight..[shrug]..should have known better..got four visits from the "Grim Reaper"..just not my day from start to finish,,ergo..:[stats]:..39 minutes played..55 hands played..10 winners..1 for every 5.5 hands played..left 32,600$ on the tables..[no slots]....
