Poker:[04:07]:..logged on and took the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money"..[the /usual side-trips to run time off the "drop clock":[05:02]:..four tables visited..all were 1K/.5K blind tables..and on all plunked down my 125K-max-buy-in..although there were four different tables the play was pretty consistent on all four..the vast majority of the pots won were of the small/blind variety..and in general play was with out any loose play..there were spots where there was loose play but that wasn't the norm..there was some pot-pushing..and a couple of any two carders..some continuation betting..and several instances of pocket Ace/any pair or once on Queen/Jack suited a large pre-flop raise..and a couple of instances of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..and a brief visit from a couple of the "Ladies of Poker"..but by-enlarge a very calm kind of day..what big pots that were played I had stayed out of the way and played slots..just never caught the right hand at the right time to play a big pot..on all tables the play was from "heads up" to briefly four/five..but the vast majority of play was three handed..and across all four tables was both catching and not catching..I won my share of the pots but never more than a small pot and most were blind pots..out of the 16 pots I won..only four were on quality hands..made trips three times and one flush..had several 4 to a straight or flush and only caught the one..except for the time got blown out of the pot by a too large to call with a Nine/Eight unsuited pre-flop..yup..would have flopped a Ten high straight..and a big pot..but given the same circumstances 100 times I'd fold 100 times..just don't like the "odds"..got the requisite four visits from the "Grim Reaper"..after 7 hands on the first table..and after 14 hands on all of the others..??..[scratches his old grey head]..ergo..:[stats]:..35 minutes played..90 minutes off the "drop clock"..49 hands played..16 pots..1 for every 3+ hands played..left with an extra 2,575$ I hadn't brung with me..and another 1,500$ from 7 spins of the one-armed-bandit....
