[05:10]....logged on to play some Poker....took the awaiting drop [a single] for "22'K house money"....and immediately tried to find a "chair" at a 1K/.5K blind table....with no luck....went and played a couple  of hands of Spades....returned....no luck....back to Spades....ditto....and then  @05:41....decided to take a crack at a 200/100 blind table....with just 22'K house money really didn't want try the 2K/1K table....and got on a 200/100 blind table....put my 25'K max-but-in on the felt to find myself at a table of four....still don't have a rational explanation for limited access and then finding short tables....????....numbers ranged from a few hands "heads up" to a five handed game but the majority of the session was a four handed game....no true kamikaze....and a reasonable amount of the time you could see the flop for a check/call of the big blind or a min-raise....so I loosen up a bit....played a few more hands....but....I had apparently found a meeting of a bunch of "Ace Bets" players....I have seen lately an increasing number of players if they have a pocket Ace....or pocket pair....any pocket pair....they make a large or pre-flop all-in raise....does it work....well  sometimes....but in my experience with 40K+ hands played....not as often as it doesn't....not for me....so my plan once I saw the situation was to play 30 minutes....get the 2x clock started....and leave....besides wasn't catching any decent hands....right around the 30 minute I  had won a few small/blind pots on either a pair or two pair....flopped four to a flush....small raise post flop/turn....calls....river the flush and enough to get the 10K+ mission....did the math and figured if I played over an hour I could get my 100 hands....but table got cold....paid to see a flop or turn with no luck except a rivered straight....got my 100 hands+.....and departed....ergo....80 minutes played....110 hands played....43.6 seconds/hand....11 winners....1 out of every 10 hands....just wasn't catching....left 13,035 on the table....[no slots]....[so far 2 drops@22'K....1 roulette spin@330'K]....

[05:39]....logged on to play some Poker and picked up the awaiting drop for "44'K House Money"....which  today was a factor....I had my every 6 month checkup with the Doc this morning @09:00....take the next drop before I left....and give me the time to get back from the checkup in time to take the 3rd drop on time....did the math and had to play at least an hour....and more if possible....so decided to play until 60+minutes or the 44'K house money was gone....[05:42]....took a "chair" at a 1K/.5K table and put my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt".....an eight handed game....one big stake....but he wasn't a big problem....but the pot-pushers....any-two-cards....and the "I've got a pocket Ace, or any pocket pair....All-In" were....I tried to stay out of the way and still win a few pots....was blown out of hands by pre-flop or post-flop all-ins more times than I could count....and in all but three would have lost the pot....twice I would have rivered full house....and once I'd flopped trips....but there was a straight draw on the board....and an all-in that I'd have to go all-in to cover....so folded....I would have made quads on the river....under different circumstances I probably would have made the call but it was short of the hour and folded....did manage to win 2 pots....a blind pot and a small pot both on rivered cards....but got rivered few times on other hands....seemed like more pots were won than /usual on this table....any ways....my house money almost gone....looked at the clock....80 minutes played....and made my exit....ergo....60 hands played....80 seconds/hand....only the 2 winners....and left 43,925$ on the table....[no slots]....[pause off to pickup a drop]....well the plan worked and I got back in plenty of time to take the drop and write this post....

"Blackjack 21": I decided to take another look at this game....played 17 hands....16@400$....and 1@10$....old habits took over on that one and bet the 10$ that I always used to bet when I played the game a lot....won: 6 / lost: 9 / pushed: 2 /....down 1,210$....but 5 of the 6 wins were on dealer busts....and as I've said before blackjack really isn't my game....but had a few minutes and played anyways....and will probably re-visit it from time to time....

....[05:38]....logged on to play some Poker....took an  awaiting drop for "22'K house money"....had to deal with a brief interruption and went looking for a table....[05:42]....on my second try got a "chair" at a 1K/.5K blind table....put my 125K max-buy-in on the "felt" and found I was in an 8 handed game....with a big stack [around 350K] and two or three other players who had me covered....so....ultra-tight mode until I get the "lay of the land"....some hands you could see the flop with a call or check of the blinds....other's any thing from a min-pre-flop raise to an all-in....the big stack liked to "splash the pot" randomly....or so it seemed....I had played about 10 hands....had seen a couple of decent sets of hole cards but hadn't connected with the flop....pocket Kings....big stack goes all-in to my right....dang....if the bet had been even 50K probably would have called....but didn't even think twice....I hadn't got my 16 hands played mission yet....and with the current access to a table difficulty....and the crazy tables....the 16 hands mission first table "Is the Mission"....as it turned out big stack won the pot with a rivered pair of Eights....but I still maintain I made the right call....well for me anyways....big stack left...played a few hands but couldn't hit the flop....and then a know to me play arrive....125'K buy-in....all-in....and if memory serves he's a "Topper"....next hand 125K all-in....this time he won....next hand around 125K all-in....looked at the clock...2 hands to 30 minutes played....no blinds....got to 30 minutes and booked....ergo....27 hands played....77.8 seconds per hand...o wins....left 17.5'K on the table....[no slots]....but the 2x clock is running....I have a roulette spin if I keep on schedule just before 10:00....will wait until after that and go looking for another table....

["Poker: 2nd trip]:....I wanted to play a second time....but repeated attempts to  get on either a 1K/.5K or  a 2K/1K  blind tables had all failed...I tried for a 200/100 blind table with the full knowledge that one of the reasons for playing....get the 10K+ mission probably wasn't going to happen but at least for the first time in two days I did win a hand....table of 8 w/ a bunch of rooks and a guy with about 2.5"K hands played....an about 400K in his stack....and from time to time would go all-in pre-flop....and got action....did manage in a  lull....to win a small pot....up to the river a blind pot....4th Diamond on the river....I made the flush....had the Two of Diamonds in the hole....guy raises 1K....figured I was beat....but with the thought "show  me" called....he did....2 pair....the table settled down when the big stack left....and I couldn't catch a cold....just before I left Ace/Three unsuited....flopped the trip Aces....from his bets figured the guy on my left had also....he raised on the river....pretty sure he had me bet....three things made me call....he could have paired with the other card in the flop and only had two pair....I had a chance if I won the pot for the 10k+ mission....and it was only going to cost me about 20'K....and besides I was about to leave....and I got out kicked....ergo duo....left 22,495$ on the table...."Day's Tables Total: 60 minutes played....53 hands played....67.9 seconds/hand....1 winner....down 39,995....[no slots]....

05:18:....Logged on to play some Poker....had a awaiting roulette spin and hit the "top of the mark" for "880'K house money"....and went in search of a place to play....05:21: after a few attempts to get a chair at a 1K/.5K table....decided to look elsewhere and tried a 200/100 blind table first....and got right on....and put my 25K max-buy-in on the felt....a meeting of 7 other players....obviously members in the "Fraternal  Order of Kamikaze & Dive Bombers"....which is what I kind of had expected....the plan was....play 20 or 30 minutes....get your 16 hands mission and run....and get the 2x clock running....and if the chance a raises to play a couple of hands....do so....and did actually have a couple of hands where the pre-flop raise and my pocket cards maybe a call reasonable....but didn't hit the flop....ergo....20 minutes played....20 hands played....60 seconds/hand....left 5,200$ on the table....[no slots]....and there is an advantage if you play " the game within the game" as I do to a quick early session....get the 16 hands mission and get the 2x clock started....the quicker you start the clock....the more advantage you gain....assuming you "play" the drop/roulette game as I do....in all probability play more later because in the back of my mind I'd really would like to hit 40K hands played by the end of the year....

[05:41]....Logged on to play some Poker....watched an ad. and collected "44'K house money"....did the /usual bookkeeping....and to my great surprise after the availability problems of the last few days not only did I get a "chair" at a table with out delay....but I got on my table of choice....a 1K/.5K table....and put my max-buy-in of 125K on the "felt"....and with my arrival and another player seconds later it was an 8 handed game....with comings and goings....some by choice and some busting out....there were hands with 6 or 7 players but it always bounced back to a table of eight....I make no bones about the fact that if I can catch a few hands....don't get rivered....and play my /usual tight/slow play/ trapping style....at one point or another all of the usual suspects made an appearance....first there was the any-two-carder....a small stack....a 1K pre-flop raise, and a continuation bet[s] as long as he stayed in the hand....several games of "My pairs bigger than Yours'"....a coupe of times pre-flop....and several occurrences of a player with an Ace or any pair in the hole and making a big pre-flop raise up to and including all-in....1st hand....big blind....Ace/Three suited....called a 1K raise....flopped a pair of Threes...called a continuation bet....same on the turn....rivered the trips....raised 2.5'K....a couple of calls and I had my 10K+ mission done.....48 minutes later....Queen/Nine suited....King/Ten on the flop....turned an Eight....and a nice pot....only my 2nd....two hands later on the button....pocket Aces....and a player [to my right] on "tilt" just lost a couple of big hands....goes all-in pre-flop....for around 25K....now normally I do not cover pre-flop all-ins....but the hand was right and the "price was right" so I called and except for one other player the whole table called the raise....well the Aces held up and the blind raccoon had a meal....won one more pot....a small one with a pair....but had continued to play ultra-tight....with the pace of play....realized that I'd have to play almost 2 hours if I was to play a 100+ hands....decided that that wasn't "in the cards" today....so I folded and left....ergo....80 minutes played....65 hands played....75.9 seconds/hands....4 pots won....1 out of every 16.33 hands....left with 131,800$ I hadn't brung with me.....In addition 19 goes at the "One Armed Bandit" netted 2,100$ more....my play again....
