[05:18]..logged on as is my custom to play some Poker....had the /usual drop awaiting me and collect "22'K house money"....and got right on a 1K/.5K blind table and put my 125K-max-buy-in on the felt...a eight handed game....and between 3 of the players there was over 2'M chips in their combined stacks....I almost always fold the first hand....well unless I'v got a pocket pair Jacks or better....and one of the big stacks makes a 50'K pre-flop raise....and I immediately went to ultra-tight-mode....except for the blinds and 1 or 2 other hands just folded....and folded out of the blinds as well....there was a large raise pre-flop....but pace of play was slow....so decided to play until the "22'K house money" was gone....didn't take long to realize that the pot splashing was because of one player....just a symbol for a name....but avatar was a desert shot....and at one point "he" had over 1'M chips in his stack....but his Hot streak came to an abrupt halt [he busted out]....had checked his stats....over 30'K hands played....and when he left....his total bank was less than 5K....I'm a fairly educated man....and try as I might I cannot understand that style of play....should have studied psychology....I realize the faux money has no meaning or value outside the game....but it does within the game....you need it to play....well this drama took about 40 minutes to play out and I was down to the last few K's of my house money but the board calmed down with his exit....had a pocket Jack/Seven suited....flopped trip Jacks....a fairly decent pot....but ended up a split pot....didn't net much....but because of the pot size got my 10K+ mission [had been playing for about 48 minutes at the time]....very next hand....pocket Eights....flopped the trips....and a decent pot...then a kamikaze arrived....the hour was approaching....played to the hour and booked it....ergo....60 minutes played....47 hands played....76.6 seconds/hand....2 winners....1 out of every 23.5 hands played....left with an extra 6,800$ I hadn't brung with me & both 16 hands & 10K+ missions....[no slots]....I realize my style of play is not the norm here....but it works for me....well most of the time anyways....
