[05:17]....logged on to play some Poker....had a spin on the roulette wheel awaiting me...."154'K house money"....and off to play some poker....[05:18]....1K/.5K blind table with my /usual 125K-max-buy-in....[regardless of what table I play at I always use the max-buy-in....and only rarely use auto-re-buy....and never have used auto-top-off].....and found that I had taken a "chair" at a meeting of "Pot Splashers inc."....basically any-two-carders to the nth degree....not every hand but the majority of the hands one of the other players would splash the pot for a large up to an all-in pre-flop raise...and more often than not....others would join the party....and yes some of the big pots were won by trips or better....but then there were others that were won by a rivered pair or a high card....one player in particular...25K-min-buy-in....busted out a couple of times....hit a hot streak....amassed around 400'K....and a few hands later....busted out again....I've said it before....this is not poker....mainly because we're not playing for the rent money....we play this game with faux money....and we all play it for our own reasons....but the styles of play that now seem to dominate the tables here....not for me....I play on the tables....sure I'd like to win....and win big....but at the end of the day....I want to "post" a net gain....not a net loss....ergo....I play early....1 roll out of bed and on to a poker table....get my 16 hands played....hopefully my 10K+ mission....and then take full advantage of the drops/roulette spins....but then for the last few hands the chaos stopped....and I was able to play my game....won some hands....no big pots....also saw some of the ladies that I play with quite often....still have figured out why I keep getting gifted high heels....ergo....75 minutes played....118 hands played....38.14 seconds/hand....17 winners....1 out of every 7 hands played....left 36,317 on the table....a poor showing at slots....13 spins and only won 1'K....
