Poker:[05:22]..logged on to play some poker..took the awaiting drop for 22'K..and tried for a 1K/.5K table..3 tries..no joy..off to check in at the FB group [where I'm a "mod"] "The Farthest Side"..and back to poker..[05:32]..put my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt" of a table of 7 players..soon to be eight..but entered with the button to my immediate left..so I would have a few hands before the blinds to see what style[s] was [were] being played..there were a couple of hands you could get in for a call/check of the big blinds..but a couple of "seats" to my left [eventual to my immediate left] was an nth* pot pusher..but the good news one pot and I'd have the 10K+ mission..so rather than go into ultra-tight mode..and "protect" the 22'K house money..and knowing the next chip action was a roulette..for a min of 66'K..decided to use 88'K as my "house money"..and stick my "toe in" as it were..in retrospect..not a great plan..did catch a reasonable amount of decent pocket cards..but either got blow off pre-flop from an all-in from a player on "tilt" [he'd just lost a big hand] or would decided to see a reasonable raise and either miss the flop completely or get just a small piece..never won a hand..and with an extremely slow pace of play..I estimated I'd have to play over 2 hours to play 100 hands..[actually 2 hours and 20 minutes..checked the math]..with no change on the table in sight..booked it..ergo..35 minutes played..25 hands played..84 seconds/hand..left 50,500$ on the table..[no slots]..will think about playing again later..
