Poker:[05:04]..out of bed and off to play so poker..took the awaiting drop for "44'K house money"..and off to find a table..and for the first time in awhile..the tables were full..nuts..after several tries..[05:14]..placed my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt" of a 1K/.5K table..4 handed game..at first a decent table..had my 10K+ mission before the 16 hands played mission banner fell..wasn't catching much but was able to stay one side of the other of my buy-in..and then a new player arrived..and for the majority of the session he for all intent and purposes..he was the table..most hands would splash the pot pre-flop..and he always seemed to find one or two of the rest of the table to play along..most of his stay it was a 4 four or five handed game..and at least for awhile he was on a "hot streak"..and the crazy part was that a few of the very big pots were won by a "High Card"..[pause..another 44'K drop]..hand pocket pairs 6 times during this run but every time the pre-flop raise was just to rich for me to call..I hated folding pocket Bullets but wasn't going all-in pre-flop..but the pace of play..and the style of play..and the drain of just too many blinds..and I was about to the bottom of my "house money"..and finally the table changed..the player who was the main cause of the chaos..who at one time had over 700'K chips..the "hot streak" went ice cold and he busted out..managed to win a few hands and get back some of what I had lost but not all..in the midst of the chaos I almost forgot about 5 quality hands..1 trips, 1 straight, 2 houses, and quad Kings..decent pots..got my 100 hands and took my leave..ergo..70 minutes played..104 hands played..40.4 seconds/hand..12 winners..1 out of every 8.7 hands played..left 27,600 on the table..13 tries at the "old one-armed-bandit"..no big winners but pocket 3,900$ [net lost: 23,700$]..
