"Poker"..[05:17]..out of bed and off to the poker table..had a double drop awaiting for "44'K House Money"..a slight delay both with table access and a brief off-line interruption..[05:24]..placed my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt" of a 1K/.5K table..I made it a 7 handed game..and a hand latter a table of 8..which it remained the greater majority of the time..never less than 6 players..lots of comings and goings..several spinning hour glasses..and several "coffee break" players..pot-pushers..pot splashers..and a horde of "Ace bets" players..any-two-carders..and if there was a "true" kamikaze..he won't have "stood out"..a wild board..a lot of hands were 2 or more players were all-in by the river..2 players stand out..one with about 5K hands played..raised pre-flop most of the time..his stack going up and down like a yo-yo..after too long..from my POV..he was gone..checked his stats..except for about 30'K his entire total bank was on the table..the other player..picked up right away was a solid player..checked her stats..100K+ hands played..10K+ tournaments played..kept an "eye" on her if we were both in the same hand..but never went "bump"..[a brief pause..another double drop]..
Now I have mentioned before I almost never play the first couple of hands when I arrive on a table..I like to get an idea of what styles are being played..if I do normally play a hand it's because I'm in the blinds and can play for a check/call of the big blinds..in the small blind and a pre-flop 5K raise in front of me..and I had pocket Aces..I called..a continuation bet..turn paired the board..Kings..river a blank..the guy pushing the pot another continuation bet..to his left and all-in..he could have had trips or a full house..but in a rare what the hey moment I called [had him cover]..pot-pusher fold..and the blind raccoon had a meal...first hand a 10K+ mission in hand..[pot was around 100'K]..only won 2 more pots..[won 6% of the hands played]..later..button to my left..King/Jack suited..flopped 4 to the straight..an-any-two-carder..who I've seen several times before..continuation bet 2.5'K..turned a pair of Kings..5'K push and I called..rivered the King high straight..[3 to the flush on the board]..guy goes all-in..did he make the flush..or was he splashing the pot in a bluff..semi-bluff to buy the pot..seen him do just that before..made the call and a decent meal for the blind raccoon..the hour approaching and knew I'd have to play 2 hours +/- for a 100 hands..took my leave..ergo..60 minutes played..54 hands played..66.67 seconds/hand..3 wins..1 out of every 18 hands played..left with an extra 43,542$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]..
