Poker:[05:07] logged on to play some poker..took a single drop..an experienced a "reconnect" issue [the first of four during the session..??..]..[05:10] put my 125K-max-buy-in on the felt..a 1K/.5K blind table..my arrival made it a six handed game..during the course of the session the number of players ranged from a high of six..to more that the usual hands "heads up"..both number of players and styles being played were in a almost constant state of flux..all the usual suspects made an appearance..pot-pushers and the relative the pot-splasher..any-to-cards.."'Ace bet" players..and a couple of strong raids by kamikaze..with dive-bombers..and an several bouts of "My pair is big then Yours' is"..and lest I forget a number of "coffee break players"..the 16 hands banner came down and I had only won two hands but enough for the 10K+ mission as well and I got to thinking about an early exit..for the first several minutes the board was dominated by different pot-pushers and any-two-cards..and by playing ultra-tight was able to stay with in the 22'K of my buy-in..after they left..a few hands "heads up" and then in quick succession two strong raids of kamikaze..I was just past 40 minutes played and almost retired [pause..a spin of the wheel..330'K]..after the kamikaze had left..a succession of pot-splashers arrived and left..on any given hand..a blind pot or a big pot..I've mentioned before that it's not enough to catch good hands but you have to also do it at the right time..splasher to my left..I flopped a pair of Aces and 4 to a wheel..some continuation bets/calls..I rivered the wheel..splasher all-in..I covered and the blind raccoon knocked over a couple of garbage cans..2 hands later..another splasher..I flopped two pair..turned the house..covered an all-in and the Mr. coon found a dumpster..very next hand and the same splasher [popped right back in with 125K]..again flopped 2 pair..Aces&Fives..turned Fives full of Aces..this time he only bet about half his stack..another call..another dumpster..and a Table Captain arrived..but I was a benevolent one..except I had forgotten once that a min-raise when you have over 250'K is 4.5'K..and the rest of the table ran for cover [all short stacks]..but the bottom of the hour and me on the button coincided so I retired..ergo..80 minutes played..114 hands played..42+ seconds/hands..22 winners..1 out of every 5.2 hands played..left with an extra 136,022$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]..
