Poker: [22:26[last night]..because of an early start yesterday..plus the end of Daylight Savings Time..was able to take a roulette spin after "Day's End" hit the wheel for 198'K [will be counted in today's totals]..[05:12]..logged in to play some Poker took the awaiting double drop for "44'K house money"..a couple of off-line things intervened and @05:16..put my 125K-max-buy-in on the "felt" of a 1K/.5K blind table..a table of six..and as I soon understood inhabited by not only a pot-pusher and an any-two-carder..and an "Ace bets" player..1st hand..to the left of the button..Ace/Six suited..a min-pre-flop raise [the any-two-carder]..flopped two pair..a couple of more raises and calls and a decent pot..and my 10K+ mission in tow..table size varied throughout play just a hand or two "heads up" up to a six handed game..but most hands were played at 4 or 5 at the table..because of the pace of play I recognized early that if I was to play 100 hands+ it was going to take awhile..besides the aforementioned styles..there were the usual number of "coffee break" players..and several bouts of "My pairs bigger than Yours is" and except for the first hand and a few other hands I just flat wasn't catching..oh I got several nice looks in the pocket..paid to see the flop and sometimes the turn..but by-enlarge either missed the flop..got a small piece..or a couple of times got beat by a "rivered" card..but wanted the 100+ hands played..the 44'K house money was all but gone..I'd played coming up on 50 minutes..just came to the conclusion that it just wasn't my day..did the math in my head and figured I would have to play another 30 to 40 minutes to get the 100+ and left [check my guesstimate..if the pace of play remained the same: 80 minutes[+/-]]..ergo..50 minutes played..59 hands played..50.85 seconds/hand..7 winners..1 win for every 8.43 hands played..left 43,375$ on the table..[no slots]..[another drop coming in a couple of minutes]
