*[07:25 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]*<[Facebook}>..Poker:[04:48]:..a late start this morning..picked up the awaiting drop(w/ad.) for "44K house money..[off to other online tasks to run time off the "drop clock"]..:[05:49]:..only four tables this morning and had my desired 50+ hands played..had gained both missions by the 2nd table..& had claimed both before I went looking for the 3rd table..as/usual all tables were of the 1K/.5K blinds variety..&..as/always regardless of what the blinds are I always "risk" the max-buy-in..in this case 125K..now if I ever would go kamikaze I'd probably buy-in at the minimum..but it would have to be a very..very cold day in the abyss before that will ever happen..play varied from a few more than/usual hands "heads up" to very briefly a five handed game..but as has become typical of play in the "Era of the Reaper" the majority of the hands were with three at the table..one oddity was that there were more split-pots than /usual..I was in four of them..and there were a couple where I was "out" of the hand..play was sporadic..at least 50% of the hands were of the small/blind variety..of the rest..most of the chaos was caused either by a pre-flop min-raise by an any-two-carders..or buy a pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint..a splash of the pot up to and including an all-in..and on the 3rd table varying pre-flop raises from an ersatz "Table Captain"..the 3rd table was the only table were I didn't basically break even..had flopped a set of Threes and lost a halfway decent pot to a runner/runner straight..[shrugs].. and the /usual number of rounds of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..and although there were a few all-ins..no appearance of a true kamikaze..and lest I forget across the four tables several appearance of members of the "Ladies of Poker"..the 4th table was for the most part just the "Old MadTrollie" and two of the more aggressive "Ls. o. P"..and a truly classic series of "My pairs bigger than Yours' is"..and who gave the Trollie the last "gift"..I stayed pretty much out of the way and managed a few small/blind pots to stay marginal ahead on the last table..except for a pair of flushes and trips twice..[one mentioned above]..all the rest were just 2-pair/a pair & 1 "high card"..caught better than of late..but never the right hand in the right spot..& the aforementioned good hand in a bad spot..got "Reaped" four times..ergo..:{stats}:..40 minutes played..101 minutes off the "drop clock"..54 hands played..13 pots won & split pots ..1 out of every 3.18 hands played..[13/50=3.85]..left 12,950$ mostly on the 3rd table..technically the "Reaper" only dragged me off three tables.."It" got me in the "Slot Room" once..made zip for 5 goes at the slots....Video Poker Live: on the run to the 2x modifier this morning [10 hands@50K coins/hand..all hands on the "Tens or Better" machine..made a pair..flopped four to a straight..needed a Ten to complete the Ace high straight..and hit the Ace (200K coins)...a couple of hands latter..flopped three Aces..hit the 4th for Quads(1.25'M coins)..got the 2x modifier and an extra 1M chips as well..best run so far.."Current Bank" now stands@76.575'M coins....[11:20 UTC-4]....Blackjack 21: not as good a trip to the blackjack table as some..but not as bad as some either never made a hand better that a 19..10 hands@100$/hand..4 wins/6 loses..no blackjacks..dealer busted twice..down 200$.."Current Bank" now stands@1,126,300$....[15:23 UTC-4]....[edited: 19:44]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 681.6'M / Net Gain Today: 383'K / Drops[7]&Roulette[1]: 396'K / Tables[5]&Slots[5]: -12,950$ / Hands Played Tonight: 54 / Total Hands Played: 62,725 / [[notes]: 2 drops@44K & 5 drops@22K & 1 roulette spin@198'K]....[19:48 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
