*[06:29 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game(s) Results]*<[Facebook]>..Poker:[03:53]:..took the awaiting roulette(s/chip) for "110K house money..[the/usual other online tasks to run time off the "drop clock"]..:[05:54]:..sometimes I can be a real dummkopf..apparently I had plum-forgotten to claim the 10K mission yesterday..and of course I never checked the mission page until after I took the roulette spin this morning..on the other hand it would have been wasted because I didn't "'hit" the top of the well..[shrugs]..five tables played..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K variety..and as/always I plunked my 125K-max-buy-in on the felt..play varied from maybe too many "heads up hands" to very briefly a five handed game..most hands were with three at the table..play ranged from flat-nuts-insane..to pretty decent..just depended on which table you were on..tables 1/2/5..all three were in the lower levels of the abyss..pot pushing/continuation betting..massive pre-flop bets on pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint..on one of the aforementioned three table..they all blur into one in my mind..had a player who only rarely made a pre-flop raise and only with an Ace or pair..5K pre-flop..I had squat so folded..other dude called..two Aces in the flop..raiser goes all-in..now I thought it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the raiser just made trip Aces..the other dude calls..busted out..yup..trips..oy vey..now it wasn't that I wasn't getting a decent amount of looks in the hole on all five tables..and on the aforementioned three did catch some cards on the flop..flopped a nice 2-pair three time..all fell twice to a rivered set..and once to a runner/runner set..flopped four to a straight or flush at least a 1/2 dozen times and got nadda from the turn or river..add to that a kamikaze and a set of tournament style players..got blanked on the 2nd table..and only 1 pot on each of the other two..2 pots out of 38 hands played..but all things considered didn't lose near as much as I could have..../....tables 3 & 4..some any two carding..a couple of pocket Ace et al betting..some continuation betting..and a couple of bouts of "My pair is bigger than Yours' is"..and a couple of the "Ladies of Poker" but for the most part pretty much stayed one side or the other of my buy-in..won 9 pots & a 3-way split-pot on a board full-boat..only made one other quality hand..a full boat..but 10 out of 26 hands played..nothing more then a small/blind pot..save for a one decent one on the boat..and of course in the "Era of The Reaper"..all exists were at "His bony hand"..ergo..:{stats]:..47 minutes played..113 minutes off the "drop clock"..64 hands played..12 winners..1 out of every 5.33 hands played..left 36,600$ on the tables..took 200$ from five goes at slots....Video Poker Live: pretty average run for the 2x modifier..only made 1 quality hand..a set..10 hands@50K coins/hand..down 150'K coins.."Current Bank" now stands@72.615'M chips....[11:12 UTC-4]....Blackjack 21: decided to play my 10 hands@100$..some dummkopf forgot to check the time and in the middle of my 5th hand..yup..prompt to re-enter my WiFi password..oy vey..anyways..5 wins/5 loses..4 dealer busts..which was a good thing..only made 2 hands 17 or better..a 3-card 21 which beat dealer's 17..& a 4-card 18 winner when the dealer busted..broke even.."Current Bank" stands@1,121,100$....[13:12 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: Total Bank: 680.6'M / Net Gain Today: 579.6'K / Drops[6]&Roulette[2]: 616'K / Tables[5]&Slots[5]: -36,400$ / Hands Played Today: 64 / Total Hands Played: 62,673 / [[notes]: 4 drops@22K & 2 drops@44K & 2 roulette spins: 1@110K & 1@330K]....[19:15 UTC-4]....

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
