*[06:48 UTC-4]*[Today's Live Game Results]:<[Facebook]>..Poker:[04:10]:..picked up the awaiting drop(s/ad.) for "22K house money"..[the/usual other online tasks to run time odd the "drop clock"]..:[05:18]..[[note]: I discovered when doing "Day's End" last night that I had neglected to claim the chip form the 10K+ mission..and claimed it then..I have during play today gained another chip..if you have an un-used claimed chip..and gain a new one..don't claim it until you use the old one..you can only have one claimed chip at a time..found that out the "hard-way"]..four tables played..all as/usual were of the 1K/.5K variety and as/always I risked my 125K-max-buy-in on all four..a few hands "heads up" up to and including very briefly a 6 handed game..most hands were with three at the table but a couple more four handed than of late..play was a mix of pot-pushing/continuation betting..any-two-carding..a brief raid by a kamikaze..played one hand..won..and apparently the "Reaper" had had enough of him and took him before he got to play the next hand..and of course pocket singleton Ace/any pair/any paint and once suited connectors..and one very annoying player on the 2nd table who was capable of doing all of the above on any given hand..and appearances on the 4th table by three of the "Ladies of Poker"..and throughout repeated bouts of "My pair is bigger than Your's is"..1st table..14 hands played..only three winners..twice with a pair..had a Three/Four unsuited in the big blind..flopped a Two/Five..an open ender..rivered the Ace..called a couple of min-continuation bets..and a 5K raise after the river..a small meal for the blind raccoon..and left the board up maybe 10K..2nd table..a combination of the aforementioned player and the simple fact that except for hitting the flop a couple of times for bottom pair..didn't catch a hand..0 for 12..but was still marginally ahead..3rd table..13 hands played and except for the first hand got skunked..an Eight/Six suited..flopped a set of Sixes..rivered an Sixes full of Eights boat..and another small meal for the blind raccoon..but again other than that a combination of when I did hit a flop getting a small piece of it and some loose play around me..never made another hand..finally pocket Aces..yup..got "Reaped" mid hand..4th table..14 hands played..4 pots..and except for a winner on a pair the other three were all quality hands..won a decent on a set of Eights..and just before I left another small pot with a flush..about mid-way thru the session in the small blind with the Jack of Spades and frankly I forget the other card..river a Spade King put four to the Spade flush on the board..small blind bet 23K..big blind called..no board pair..no straight flush possible..the other two were aggressive members of the "Ladies of Poker"..decided that the odds were in my favor..made the call and a very nice buffet for the blind raccoon..got the 4th visit from the "Reaper" & decided to leave well enough alone..ergo..:{stats}:..41 minutes played..109 minutes off the "drop clock"..53 hands played..8 winners..1 for every 6.625 hands played..left with an extra 60,100$ I hadn't brung with me..[no slots]....Video Poker Live: one of my better runs of late for the 2x modifier..10 hands@50K-coins/hand on as/usual on the "Tens or Better" machine..a pair..2 pair twice[100K-coins each]..a flopped straight[250K-coins]..a full boat[[300K-coins..& just before the run 180K-coins from a video bonus & a "Jackpot" spin...the 2x modifier and an extra 450'K-coins to boot.."Current Bank" now stands@82,850'M-coins.....[12:38 UTC-4]....Day's End Poker: 684.2'M / Net Gain Today: 566.1'K / Drops[6]&Roulette[2]: 506'K / Tables[4]: +60,100$ / Hands Played Today: 53 / Total Hands Played: 63,102 / *[*[notes]: 1 drop@22K & 5 drops@44K & 2 roulette spins: 1@154K & 1@110K]*[didn't catch many hands but caught a couple at just the right moment]*]*....*[19:14 UTC-4]*....]*

Glossary of Terms Spades

A game: made up of several hands, collect 500 points and you win....you can also win regardless of you're score if your opponents score -200 points or more

Bags: if you as a team take more tricks then you bid, you get 1 bag for each trick over, collect 10 and you lose 100 points

Bid: before a hand is played, based on the cards you hold, now many tricks you can win

Hand: players play one card each high card in suit takes the hand unless a trump is played and then high trump wins the hand, 13 tricks per hand

Lay of the cards: how the cards are dealt on any given hand

Nil Bid: a bid of nil......your intent to not take a trick in a hand, +100 points if you succeed, -100 points if you take even 1 trick

Over bid hand: there are 13 tricks per hand.....if the bids total 14 or more....one team will go back...maybe both

Set: a team failures to make their bid, their lose 10 points for each bid example team total bid was 7, team took 6 or less tricks....you lose 70 points.....also referred to as "going in the hole" or "going back"

Suits: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts

Trick: one round of play in a hand

Trump: in Spades, the spades are always trump, beats everything except a higher trump, can only be played if you don't have the suit lead..must be played if trump is lead.....trump can't be lead until a player trumps in....

Trumping In: playing a trump on a trick when you are out of that suit....but it's the players choice...unless trump is lead...

We/They: as in any partners card game one of the possible names for the 2 teams....I've seen "us" & "them".....and a few others i can't mention here

Glossary of Terms Solitaire

Auto-play: when the next series of moves is obvious, the game may automatically do them.{aka: auto-fill}....

Foundation: where you're trying to more the cards to.....move them all and you win

DECK: from which cards are turned over one at a time

Relaxed: a change in the rules from the standard game to make it play easier..varies from game to game..

Re-Set/Undo: both Just Solitaire and World of Solitaire games have both a re-set and an undo option....re-set takes the game back to the start....undo will remove one move at a time....both can be useful to try other options....

Tableau: where the cards to be moved start the hand
